Chapter 16

Saumya POV

We have been going on continuous dates. It's been 2 months and 7 days since we started dating and I would surely call these magical moments in my life. From time to time Aarav gets me flowers, messages me every moment of his day, and also fills my phone with the sweetest of messages.

Today I, Shruthi and Shubham bunked classes.

"Even Dhruv is coming wait," Shruthi says looking at her phone.

"You guys are talking?" Shubham asks Shruthi as she gives him a nod.

"You guys are not pulling off each other's hair?" I ask confused at their sudden change in dynamic.

"Yeah, Is that weird? He is not that bad of a guy." Shruthi tells as she looks anywhere else but me.

"It is weird. What is going on ?" I ask her but she pushes it away saying Dhruv's car is here and goes on to sit in the driver's seat.

"Totally weird." I think to myself as Shubham nods at my words too.

"Where are we going?" I ask once the car starts running.

"Can we go to the mall?" Shruthi asks us.

"No too many people," Shubham says no to it.

"Then you say," Sruthi asks.

"I found a restaurant nearby. It's new, no one will come. The food was good." He tells and we all agree to it.

I text Aarav to see what he was doing.

What are u upto?- Me

Studying, an exam is coming up.- Aarav

Ok, Study well- Me

I get on with it. But on the way, I see a car parked at the mall. It's a very familiar one. 

It's Aarav's !! maybe it's a coincidence. He told me he was studying for an exam. I might be just overthinking. When did I become the possessive type of girl?

I brush it off and we get to the restaurant. But what was in front of me baffles me even more. Dhruv and Shruthi were holding hands. They went to the reception holding hands, but once they saw what it was they pulled back again. Dhruv takes Shubham to the table while I and Shruti go to the washroom.

"Spill," I tell her with my kind voice but she acts like she didn't listen to it. I block her way before going out and she releases a sigh. An embarrassed expression takes over her face.

"Last time, when I sprained my ankle..." She pulls out her words.

"I lack patience Shruthi fast," I warn her.

"I told him to stay the night and we slept." She finishes it in one go.

"He slept in your house big deal." I think. But the look on her face doesn't justify what I imagined in my mind.

"YOU SLEPT WITH DHRUV! AS IN YOU HAD SEX!" I shout into her face once the realization struck me.

"Shh!" She tries to calm me down.

"It was in the heat of the moment, we don't think we are ready for a relationship. So maybe you could call this a situationship. Nothing is going on between us." She hisses that last sentence indicating that she doesn't want to talk about it anymore.

"So did you lose your v-card?" I ask her, I know this is her first time. But without answering she rolls her eyes.

"What are you a kid?" She asks annoyed by my suggestive remarks.

"Compared to you, yes," I tell her, her face getting red at every word.

"So was he good?" I ask her and she turns red.

"I don't know." She tells me getting shy again. Man!!! I leave that topic there and move to the table.

We get seated by the table.

"What took you guys so long?" Dhruv enquired Shruthi didn't answer anything and I wanted to play with them a little more.

"What do you think happened?" I ask him playing with the glass of water.

"You got your period," Shubham answers from the side which made me crack up.

"No one got their period," I tell midst of the laughter.

" Then what?" He asks confused by my sudden change in the way I talk and also the look on Shruthi's face was slightly giving him the idea of the bigger picture.

"Dhruv and Shruthi Sitting on the tree-" I started singing but Dhruv cut me off.

"You told her!" He exclaims in anger.

"She pulled it right out of me!" Shruthi exclaims.

"Now she will hover it over our heads for the rest of our lives," Dhruv exclaims as he face palms himself.

"What happened?" Shubham asks us confused.

"Don't taint him with this," Shruthi warns me, But our dear Subbu deserves to know.

"They both slept Subbu," I tell him poking Shruthi from the side.

"Everyone sleeps what's the big deal." Shubham brushes it off, but I wouldn't keep my mouth shut ever.

"They had Sex," I tell him trying to keep a straight face. But Subbu was on another level shocked.

"You guys are having a baby?!" He asks looking at Shruthi.

"No!" They both shouted together, while I roll on the chair laughing. We were so loud that everyone around was looking at us.

A waitress nearby comes to our side.

"Please keep the Decibles down." She tells me. We nod with her and pretty much become silent after that. But once we get back in the car, we get chaotic once again.

"So when will you guys have the gender reveal party?" I ask them as they visibly get shy at my question.

"Shut up!" Shruthi says and it reminds me of the question I wanted to ask.

"Dhruv, was she good in bed?" I ask him as he visibly gets red. I didn't peg for him to be a shy guy. Everything around goes silent as if expecting an answer.

"She was good." He tells looking at the road and those words were enough to turn Shruthi red.

"When I asked her the same question she told- I don't know." I quote her words. This leaves Dhruv shocked.

"What?!" He asks as if feeling betrayed.

"I had nothing else to compare it with. It was my first time." She says getting shy. That made Dhruv Stop driving the car right in the middle.

"You told me it was not your first time!" He asks confused.

"It was the heat of the moment! Would you stop doing it if I told you it was my first time?" Shruthi asks him.

"No," He answers going back to driving.

Damn, I wish I had some popcorn.

"Did you like it or not?" He asks her once again which makes her go red.

"It was good." She tells as if for the sake of saying but I could see it in her face. She did like it.

" I knew you would." He says as he sports a cocky smile on his face.

"Fuck you." She called out, but no one was prepared for the reply Dhruv would give.

"Already done, baby. We can do it again if you want to." He says. His words shut everyone up.
