I haven't been able to get the massive smile off my face all today, Reece kissed me last night, what the hell am I suppose to do now? I don't want to fall for him, but I know I'm beginning to.

"Stay away from Reece!" A whisper said into my ear, but it was gone before I turned around. The scary thing about this though, was that it was a males voice, not a females.

"River!"

"Aaaahhh!" I screamed, dropping all my books on the floor. Then a group of lads laughed passing me out, idiots.

I bent down to collect all the books that fell, when an extra pair of hands began to help.

"O-oh ahm you don't have to-,"

"I want to," he spoke so gently, it made my heart melt. I looked up, and was greeted by these beautiful baby blue eyes, I froze.

"Ahm, are you okay?" He coughed, half smiling at the same time.

"Yeah I'm a-ahm, I'm-,"

"She's fine," a voice said next to me. Straight away I knew it was Reece.

"Oh shoot I didn't know ye were together, I'm new so-."

"Were not together!" He snapped. I don't know why, or how, but I felt my heart drop completely. I knew we weren't together, but for him to turn around and snap that straight away.

"Oh, well I'm Riley," he stuck out his hand, waiting patiently for someone to shake it. I quickly extended my hand in return, even if Reece was being jealous.

"River," I smiled, looking down.

"River? What a pretty name," he smiled, then he let go of my hand.

"Yeah now bye," Reece snapped once again, then dragged me away.

"I'll see you around River," he shouted, causing people to look which then caused me to blush. 

"What is your problem?" I said to Reece as soon as we were away from everyone.

"Nothing!" He snapped for like the one hundredth time today. 

"All he did was help me, he didn't do anything else," I said, feeling myself getting angry, I needed to stop.

"Didn't do anything else? He tried to touch you!" He shrieked.

"TOUCH ME? REECE HE SHOOK MY HAND!" I shouted back, waving my hands around like a complete nutter.

"Still tried to touch you," he huffed, not looking at me.  I hate to admit it, but this was the cutest thing I've ever seen. 

"And if he did? So what?" I said, raising my eyebrows at him, which caused him to raise his eyebrows back at me. 

"Fine! I'll just go around and go back to the way I was before I met you and before I started falling for you," he said, but soon his eyes opened wide, and so did mine, I frooze, and he frooze.

"W-what?" I stuttered.

"A-ahm, n-nothing, I just -,"

"Reece baby hey," this blonde girl came over, wrapping herself around him.

"Oh, Courtney, hey," he said to her, giving her a pathetic attempt of a smile, who the hell is this girl.

"I'm sorry, I don't mean to be rude, but who are you?" I asked her, not letting my eyes leave Reece's.

"I'm Reece's girlfriend, who are you?" She asked, glaring at me.  I stared, with my eyes bulging out of my head, and my jaw resting comfortably on the floor.

"I-I'm just, nobody," I looked down, breaking my stare with Reece. I was beyond gutted, I couldn't even form words.  But I was right about one thing, I am a nobody. 

"River please, let me explain," Reece pleaded, Courtney still glued to his side. 

"A-ahm I'll talk to you at the a-apartment, okay?" I tried my best to make it look like I was okay, but inside I was torn, I genuinely felt my heart begin to crack, but I couldn't allow it to, break, I really couldn't.

"River?" He pleaded again, but I gave him a friendly smile, and walked away.

I was walking as fast as I could, until I bumped into something hard, and landed flat on my ass.

"I'm so so so sorry," a voice murmured over the snickers from around.

"It's okay," I said quietly, not daring to look up.

"Hey! You're River, it's me, Riley?" He said, pointing to himself as if I forgotten who he was.

"Oh Riley, hey," I said, still not meeting his green eyes.

"Me and my friend, Rob, are going out to get some lunch, if you'd like to come?" He asked, gesturing over to a tall, muscly guy.

"Yeah, sure," I smiled.

"No way," I laughed. These guys were so funny I was laughing uncontrollably throughout the whole meal.

"So what the story with you and Reece?" Riley asked, still a hint of amusement  in his voice.

"No ahm, there is nothing between us, " I lied, faked a smile, and kept going on like I was having the time of my life.
"So, what's the story with ye, any girlfriends?" I asked, raising my eyebrows at them both.  But they both looked at each-other and burst into fits of laughter, oh.

"Guys, what's so funny?" I asked, but they just laughed even harder.

"Guuuuuys?" I whined, waiting for the laughter to die down. 

"River, we're gay," they both said, there faces dead serious.  I really did not know what to say, but I just joined in on the laughing.

"I'm so happy for you guys," I exclaimed giving each of them a hug. 

"River?" I turned around to see Reece, standing there with little miss 'perfect'.

"Yeah?" I smiled. 

"Can we, ahm, talk?" he asked, shuffling his feet on the ground.

"Of course," I smiled, not giving anyone the satisfaction of seeing me hurt.  I walked over to a quite spot with Reece, and sat down opposite him, not daring to look him in the eyes.

"Will you look at me, please?" He spoke so gently that I couldn't help but look at him.  He looked really sad, and upset, I could feel my hurt tugging, but I couldn't give in, not now.

"You know, it would have been really nice if you told me you had a girlfriend?" I snapped, not breaking the eye contact. 

"I couldnt! I couldn't tell you because I fell for you, and if I told you, you would've left," he said, looking down at the table.

"Why not tell her?" I asked in a matter-of-fact tone. 

"Have you seen her? She's scary as shit!" I couldn't help but burst into laughter, Reece is scared of blondy.

"Reece baby, why are you talking to this skank?" Courtney said, staring at me.

"Reece baby, why are you dating a skank?" I said, mimicking both her actions and voice.  "Now, if you wouldn't mind, I have to get back to my little date with my friends."

"DATE? WHAT?" Reece shrieked.  "I'm going to kill them!" He said while rushing over to their table.

"No Reece!" I ran, trying to get to him before he got to them.

"Baby calm down," Courtney said, trying to get him to stop, but of course that didn't work.

"Reece please, for me," I pleaded, and just like that, he stopped, looked right at me, then walked out, with Courtney on toe. 

"How in gods name did you do that?" Riley asked, staring at me with his jaw slightly touching the floor.

I smiled, then shrugged, I really didn't know myself.
