dear sterling,
you came by my house today. i dont understand why.

i heard a knock at the door and i walked downstairs. i opened and none other than you was i met with your twinkling hazel eyes.

     "hey." you whispered. your voice was quivery and i know you were nervous.

     we walked up to my room and i sat on my bed while you pulled up a chair to face me.

     you apologized too me and told me that you and her had broken up and i drew my eyebrows in confusion. i asked you why and you scooted closer too me.

     the butterflies and the tingling sensation that i always got when i looked into this beautiful eyes of yours came back. i never thought i would feel that again but i did.

     i asked you why you broke her heart because when i saw the look in her eyes when she was with you she really did care about you.

     but i never really thought you did. you told me she was just a mistake and when you broke my heart your head was in a million places.

you asked me to forgive you as i stood up from my position on the bed and walked to the door.

my hand froze on the door when i felt your arms wrap around my waist and your breath on the back of my neck.

you whispered that you would always love me and nothing in the world could change that.

i watched you walked down the steps and walk out the door but before you did you stole a kiss on my cheek then went on your way.

but some how in my heart i never had the courage to let you go. but you will never know that.
