ADOPTION DAY
simon's pov

Like always, I woke up in Wilhelm's soft arms.
Wille woke up after me.

-Good morning, my love! - I said.
-Close these fvcking curtains, please. - he laughed.
-We are on the third floor. - I replied.
-Close 'em! - he laughed, again.

I got up and closed them.
-Happy now? - I laughed
-Yea?
-Get dressed, today is the big day! - I got to him and throw him off the bed.

We were getting dressed, and like ALWAYS, we were late.

We went down for breakfast.
-Why are you two always late? - my mother asked.
-We are sorry, Kristina. - I said.
-Don't be! - Wilhelm whispered in my ear.

-So today you are going to the adoption center? - Ludvig asked.
-Mhmh! - I nodded.
Wilhelm looked at me smiling.

As soon as we finished, we went back in our room.
-How are you feeling? - I asked Wilhelm.
-Good! - he replied.

We got our documents and started joking a bit, but Malin knocked:

-Come in! - Wilhelm said.
-The car is waiting for you.
-We are coming! - I said.

While we were getting outside, I got blocked:

"What if I won't be a good father?"
-Simon? You okay?
I nodded.

I was nervous the whole trip, but Wille held my hand the whole time and I started feeling better .

-Okay, we are here. - Malin said.
Wille and I got outta the car and went in.

We got in a room where the headmistress showed us photos of every kid in there.

-What about this one? - Wille asked.
-Oh! Her name is Lisa, she is 16 years old! She is a really kind girl, she just suffers a bit of anxiety, but I think she would be a perfect queen!

lisa's pov

I saw King Wilhelm and King Simon entering the adoption place.

I was anxious they would get me, but I didn't thought of that a lot.

But after 10 minutes, the headmistress came to me.

-Lisa, there is a family that wants to talk to you.
-Oh, thanks!

I went in "the room".
I opened the door and I was shocked:
The Kings wanted to talk to me?!

-Hello..! - I said.

"What do I do now?"

-Hi! Pleasure! - and they shook my hand.
-You are Lisa, right?
-Yes, it's me! - and I sat down in front of them.

-The headmistress told us something about you and we were wondering.. if you would like to be adopted from us! - King Wilhelm said.  -We need you to choose, because then you will be Crown Princess and it takes a lot of pressure.
-I would really like it, thanks!
-Are you sure? You are not obligated! - King Simon said.
-Yes, I am sure!

I wasn't that sure. I just had to get away from that orphanage. I always got bullied in there and I needed to end this chapter.

They signed everything and I went with them after packing my things!

We got in the car and we started getting to know each other.
-How did you end up in the adoption place? - King Simon asked.

-Well.. I was seven years old, my parents were on drugs, like always, and we made a car accident. They died and I just got hurt, I have the scar here on my arm.

They both made shocked faces.
-We are really sorry! - King Simon said.
-However they treated you, we are going to treat you better!
-Thanks! - I made a little smile.

-You seem to be a really good girl! - King Simon said.
-I seem to be, but I actually ain't! - I laughed.

We talked a lot until we got to the palace.

-Wow..! - I said, once we were out there.
-Pretty, huh? - King Simon said.
-Yes!

We went out of the car and went in the palace.

That was huge, amazing, fantastic, brilliant.. I don't actually know how to say, but it was the most beautiful place on earth!!

-This is your room! - said King Wilhelm, showing me a really big, fancy and cute room!

-It is beautiful! Thanks!

-We are coming to call you by 1.00pm for lunch, okay?
-Yes, thank you!

They left me alone and I realized that I was officially  a royal. In some years I would have been queen!
I mean, I always suffered with my anxiety since when my parents started being on drugs. But at least I won't live in an orphanage anymore!

I started walking all over my new room and I realized it was perfect!!

But suddenly I heard knocking.
-Come on in!

An old pretty lady came in, and I immediately realized that was the old queen!

-Hello, you must be Lisa!
-Yes, it's me! It's a pleasure to meet her!
-You can give me a "you", I am your grandmother now! - she smiled and I shook my head.

-How old are you? - she asked.
-I turned 16 like a week ago, on the 9th of September.
-Oh! So you are the perfect age to go to Hillerska!

"Wait, WHAT? I am going to HILLERSKA?!"

-Oh, I am going there?
-I guess so, it is where your parents met.- she made an annoyed face, that opened in me some doubt.

We talked for a bit, and someone knocked.
-Come in. - my "new grandmother" said.
King Wilhelm came in.
-It is time for lunch!

We got up from the bed and went to King Wilhelm.

-Why were you talking to her? - King Wilhelm whispered in my ear.
-She came in my room, why? - I whispered too.
-She is a bad person, I will explain it later to you.

We went in the dining room.
I kind of met everyone and they were so kind, even if King Wilhelm said his mother wasn't.

The day passed.
I spent a lot of time with my new dads.

-When will I start school?
-After tomorrow. - King Simon said.
-Where?
-At Hillerska, it is a really great boarding school! - King Wilhelm said.

-Well.. before lunch I was talking about it with g-grandma.. - I said.
They looked at each other.
I continued:
-She told me that I was probably heading there because that is where you two met, and she made a really annoyed face..

They made sad faces.
-You know, your grandma is not a really good person as she seems to be. She made me pass a really bad teenage age. Since when your uncle, Erik, died, she started making onto me a lot of pressure for being the crown prince, and if it wasn't for your dad, Simon, I would have probably passed out.

I made a little sad face.

-Anyways you have to go to bed, tomorrow you have to wake up by 8.30am, so that you aren't late to breakfast like me and your dad! - My "dad" Simon said.

We both laughed hearing that. I'm sure he said it because he saw that I made a little sad face.

I went in my room, put my pajamas on and went to bed.

I didn't immediately fell asleep, you know.

I was anxious to go to Hillerska.
I was scared that I would fall in love with the wrong person. I mean, I heard that lots of people met there and got married...

When I was nine, at the orphanage, I said to this guy that I liked him and everyone started bullying me, since he said that he didn't like me too.

Anyways I fell asleep by midnight.

THE DAY AFTER

My alarm woke me up by 8.20.
TEN. FVCKING. MINUTES. BEFORE.

I got up to get dressed, but I found a sheet under my door.

To Lisa
These are your two dads talking to you. We wanted to tell you somethings about living here and something else.
-Breakfast is by 9-9:30am.
-Lunch is by 1-2.00pm.
-Dinner is by 8-9.00pm.
You are joining Hillerska only tomorrow because we asked to make for you a "choir entrance".
You have a bodyguard called Malin, she will call you for every meal and else, and if you don't want her to come with you at Hillerska, you can just tell us.
We want you to feel comfortable there, to make friends, to be proud of yourself and to concern yourself on studying.
We also have a gift for you (that we are going to give you after breakfast) and remember that we love you.
-With love, your dads.

I smiled reading this and I understood that I ended up in a really good family.

I got my fvcking a$$ up from the bed (because I sat down AGAIN) and got dressed.

By 9.15am Malin came to call me for breakfast and we went downstairs.

They were already at the table.

-Good morning! - I said.
-Good morning. - everyone replied.

Anyways, for making things simple, we are gonna call them: daw (for dad wilhelm) and das (for dad simon).

-Did you read the sheet? - das said.
-Yes! - I answered.
-What sheet are you talking about? - My "grandma" said.
-Nothing of your business. - daw said.
-I need to know your things, Wilhelm. You are king and she's crown princess.
-Exactly, I AM king, not you. - daw said.
-Wilhelm, my love, stop. - das whispered in his ear.

Grandma and daw started arguing.
Once we I finished, das whispered me something in the ear.
-Wanna get outta here? - he said.
-Mhmh.

-We, uh, are getting out of here.. We are going to get some air outside! - said das smiling, but I knew that was a fake smile.

We got out of that kitchen.
We went out of the palace and sitted on a bench.

-Hey, are you alright? - I asked to das, seeing him a bit sad.
-Oh, uhm, yes, don't worry. - he made another fake smile.
-Are you sure? You seem really sad! - I said.
-Really, it's okay! Don't worry about me!
-But I don't wanna see you sad!

He HUGGED ME.
-It's alright, sweetie.
I made a shocked face.
"SWEETIE?"
He noticed my face and he realized.
-Oh, I am sorry, It's just- I mean- I am used to call you dad like that-
-It's okay, ahaha!

I actual felt really good when he said it.

We talked a bit and then I saw daw coming with a white bag.

-Hey! - he said. -this one is for you, Lisa!
-Oh, thanks! You really didn't had to! - I said, but then I noticed a thing.
-WHY IS THERE THE APPLE LOGO IN THE BAG? WHAT IS THIS? - I said, being in joy.
They just smiled.

I opened it.
-AN IPHONE 30? - I said. - THANK YOU SO MUCH!- I said and pulled them for a hug.
-But this is too expensive! - I said then.
-You will need it when you will go at Hillerska. Like if you wanna call us, or maybe for some homework.. And obviously you can bring your pc, the one in your room! - daw said.

-I.. love you so much! - I said this and they made shocked happy faces.

The day passed really fast.
The day later, 18th September 2036, I would have gone to Hillerska.
