simon's pov

It was interview's day.

I immediately got up from the bed and went dressing.
I got the letter and put it in my pocket.
I went then down for breakfast.

We were sitting down at the table, waiting for Malin and Wilhelm to come.

Malin entered by herself.
-Where is Wilhelm? - I asked.
-He is not coming to breakfast. - Malin replied.
-Oh, uhm, thanks.

As they finished, Lisa and Vera went in Lisa's room, Kristina, Ludvig and Malin went away and I was by myself in the dining room.

I got him a sandwich and some strawberries, put them on a plate with the letter and went to Wilhelm's (and my) room.

I knocked and left the plate down there.

wilhelm's pov

I heard knocking on my door.
-Who is it? - I said.
Nobody answered.

I got up and opened it.
As I looked down, there was a plate with a sandwich and some strawberries, and a letter.

I immediately understood that all that was made by Simon. I made a little smile.

I got in with the plate and the letter, sat on my bed and started eating.

Dear Wilhelm.
I am sorry for yesterday, I didn't want to upset you. You perfectly know that I want to see a big smile on your face, and not seeing you for a whole day has been sad. I just needed to be by myself for a bit, because you know I was quite anxious for Lisa and Vera, but now I am feeling better so if you want to, I can come back to our room. I am sorry for letting you down and I swear that it won't happen ever again. I don't want you to struggle while I am not there with you, because I know that you didn't came to lunch or dinner for my fault and I am not happy with it. I want you to be happy even if we argue. I want you to be strong. I don't want you to struggle. If you aren't okay with something I do or say, just tell me. I want us to be always there for each other. I want to be with you. I am sorry about everything, and even if it's passed only a day, I miss you. So please, if you want me to "get back" to you, just tell me, and I will.

I actually cried when I read it.
I knew he meant it. He means evereything he says.
So I went to his room.

I knocked.
-C'mon in!
As soon as I entered, he smiled.
-Hi. - I said.
-Hi. - he replied. -Did you.. uh, read my letter?
-Mhmh. - I nodded, sitting next to him.

I looked at him, and I realized that I missed him too.
I just hugged him.
-Can you, uh, please come back? - I started crying.
-Yes, Wilhelm, I can.

vera's pov

-Are you excited for today's interview? - I asked, laying on Lisa's bed.
-Yes, ahah! - She replied, faking a smile.
I knew that smile was fake.
I tried not to pressure her anyway.

-Do you think we are going to be fine? - she asked.
-Yes, we will.

The whole day passed and it was time for the interview.

An interviewer was waiting in a room in the castle.

-Lisa, remember, you have to say that it was you; okay? - King Simon said.
-Mhmh! - she nodded smiling.
Before getting in the room, she gave me a tight hug.

Then she went in.
We could hear everything from outside.

-Hello! - the interviewer said.
-Hi! - Lisa replied.
-So well, uhm, you are new to the royal family, right?
-Yes, I was adopted.
-Why were you at the orphanage?
-Uhm, well, my parents died on a car accident in 2027; they were on, uh, drugs..
-Are you happy that the royal family adopted you?
-Yes! I am really glad of that!

He started making questions about how did she felt now that she was a royal, how did she felt at school and a lot else.

-Getting to the point, yesterday morning a video of two girls kissing exploded all over twitter, and people say that one of these two girls is you.. so do you confirm it?

It took a bit for her to answer that.
The kings were holding hands and I was TRAUMATIZED.

-Yes it was me. - she said.

A smile arrived straight to my face.
I didn't thought that she would really admit it.

The kings were so joyful, and the old queen.. She was angrier than the devil.

-And how do you feel about that?
-I mean, good? I don't see anything bad in it, it's just a stupid kiss, not a sin. We are in 2036, I don't understand why people make so much drama about it. This girl is my girlfriend and we are happy with it, because it's OUR relationship, and not anyone else's. I still haven't figured out my sexuality, but if I like this girl, people should respect it.

The interview ended after some minutes, and Lisa came straight to hug her dads, then she hugged me.

The old queen was so angry.
-Wilhelm, we have to talk. - she said.
As soon as she said that, King Simon told us to go in our room.

simon's pov

Lisa came straight to hug us, then she hugged Vera.
-Wilhelm, we have to talk. - Kristina said.

As soon as she said that, I told to Lisa and Vera to go in Lisa's room.

They left.
-Did you told Lisa to say that? - Kristina said.
-Yes? - he replied.
-Why?
-Because it's the truth!
-Do you know how many trouble is this going to cause? And it's your fault, Wilhelm!
-People get THROUGH things. Like in one year, we'll get over it!
-Yes Wilhelm but now everyone knows that Lisa has got a girlfriend!
-And so WHAT? THERE IS NOTHING BAD IN IT! I AM THE KING OF SWEDEN, AND LOOK AT ME! I AM BISEXUAL! AND MY HUSBAND? HE IS GAY! AND THIS MAKES US A QUEER COUPLE, AND WE ARE STILL HERE! Wilhelm got cut off by Kristina, which slapped Wille's nose.

Wilhelm was out of words.
He was bleeding.
-W-Why..? - he started crying.
-That is what people like you deserve! - she said.
-Then give a punch in the nose to me too! - I said.
She became silent.
-Kristina, come on! I know you hate me! - I said.
She didn't reply.
-Come on, let's get you some ice. - I got Wilhelm's hand.

We went down in the kitchen.

-Are you okay? - I asked, even though I knew that he wasn't.
-We have to activate the plan, Simon. - he asked.
-Yes. - I replied, putting some ice on his nose.

-Are you feeling a bit better? - I asked, when the blood stopped coming out.
-A bit, thanks.
I smiled at him, then I kissed him.

I loved him. A lot.
