Chapter 4: A date with the boss? +(recap)

Recap: you take the hunter exam and you meet Shalnark and this kid named Daiki. at the end of the exam, You Daiki and Shalnark get your hunter license. Shal tells you he is in a troupe. you call the leader who's name is Chrollo and he wants to see your nen. You end up getting into the Troupe and since you're the new member and the auction is coming up, Chrollo invites the entire phantom troupe to meet again. You get to the base and you end up sleeping in Feitan and Shalnark's room. the next day you meet everyone, Shal, Chrollo, Feitan, Machi, Shizuku, Pakunoda, Phinks, Nobunaga, Uvogin, Franklin, Korotopi, Bonolenov and Hisoka. After you met everyone, the boss wants us to get outfits for the Auction that's in a month. The next day you get pissed at Feitan for tampering with your clothes and drawing on your face so you snap at him, having the other girls get your outfit for you. after that you wake up tied to a chair and your voice box shattered. you argue with Feitan and Chrollo picks up the chair you were sitting on along with you into a different room to ask you something.

Chapter 4: A Date with the Boss?

"Hey y/n would you like to go out tonight. Just the two of us.. together?" Chrollo asks "umm sure, but can you like take me off this chair and take these handcuffs off me?" I ask as I  Stand up from the chair and land on the floor in front of Chrollo.  "Oh yeah I should do that." Chrollo says as he takes the handcuff off me. "Thank you Chrollo" I say as I bow to him and give him a hug.

after that I go and run up to Shizuku.

"Shizu, do you want to go shopping with me and get to know each other better?" I ask her. "Sure Y/n, anything for you" she says with a warm smile.

~time skip 5 hours of Shopping and having fun with Shizuku. 5 minutes before the 'date' with Chrollo~

I get dressed in my fancy clothes I got while shopping with Shizuku. an a/c puffy dress with platform boots. I walk to Chrollo's room and I knock on the door. "may I come in?" I ask politely. "yes you may come in" Chrollo says. as the door opens I see Chrollo. "hey.." I say as I look him up and down. "shall we go Y/n?" Chrollo says as he gets up. He is in a pristine suit and tie. "O-oh yeah!" i say as i wait for him by his door. He grabs my hand and we get into a Taxi.

~5 minutes of driving to the city and going to a fancy restaurant~

Me and Chrollo walk into the restaurant. I feel so self conscious because every female here is more attractive than me. "Hi a table for two please" Chrollo says to the female working at the cash register. "Okay right this way" The female says as she gets our menus and brings us to a table next to a lonely female.

Me and Chrollo sit down. "hello I'm Abbi and I will be serving you today. so lets start off with What you would like to drink" Abbi says with a warm smile. "a water for me," Chrollo says. "I want an Oreo Milkshake please" I say while I smile under my mask. "okay it'll be right with you two!" the waitress runs off and tells the drink makers.

"so y/n. why don't you ever take that mask off?" Chrollo asks me as i lay my hands on the table. "I just like the feel of it," I say as I smile underneath it. 

There was a reason why I don't take it off but I am not going to tell him. It was a tradition of the l/n family that every 7 years one of the children of the l/n family would not be able to take the mask off regardless the situation. it was the child with H/c hair, Different from any other child from the L/n family. if they shall take the mask off it will show the abuse and trauma they have been though in the family of Abuse and Death. y/n finally figured out how to get rid of her bruises from the family as a child. The family was known for its harshness and Abuse so my mother thought that it would be a good idea to abandon me to not feel the pain she's been through. even though i was abandoned by my mother, i still got bruised by my siblings being hit. I think that's how it was. the pain was from sibling to sibling so each time they get hit we all feel the pain. They torture one child of each parent had so each child will feel pain. everyone in the l/n family has been abused. My parents had triplets and they had to choose a child to get tortured. They were going to choose me but my mom decided to abandon me. I mean it is better than being-

"y/nnn?" Chrollo's hand went over my face as I jump back. "You were spacing out. So what do you want to eat?" Chrollo says motioning to the menu. "Oh umm just some fruit for me." I say as I pick my head up from the table. I look at the table and I realized that my drink has been sitting there. I grab my drink and I stare at the straw. I move my mask up a little to drink my milkshake. when I move my mask I can feel my back start to hurt. it feels like its bleeding but I ignore it and I just put the straw in my mouth and I drink my milkshake. 

"y/n how often do you eat?" Chrollo asks me. "I eat once a week? maybe two times if I'm lucky," I say as I pull my mask back to where it was originally. "How do you only eat that much? you should eat more" Chrollo says. "aw, are you worried about me?" I tease. I know he's just trying to make me healthier but its not that I don't eat often. its just that I'm never hungry.

Our food arrives. Chrollo got caramel pudding. it looks pretty appealing but he looks eager to enjoy that sweet food. I enjoy just fruit in my diet. I also enjoy salad but I don't really want anything right now so I'll force myself to eat the fruit I ordered. "aren't you hungry y/n? I'm starving!" I hear Chrollo say as he eats his caramel pudding slowly. "yeah.. I'm so hungry," I say while trying to sound enthusiastic about the food. I move my mask up so that I can eat a strawberry.

"Does it get hard to breathe when you wear your mask?" Chrollo asks as I pull my mask down to where it was originally. "no, I just got used to breathing in them." I say as I look away from his grey eyes. "I'm full." I say as I lean backwards. 

"have you ate this week?" "no I haven't." "you should eat some more y/n. you only ate one fruit." Chrollo says while looking worried about me. "like I said, I don't eat much and I cant force myself to eat or I'll get sick" I say while looking down at the table. "I have a place where we could go after this." Chrollo says as he smiles sweetly at me. "Oh really? you came prepared," I laugh.

"Okay here is your check" the waitress says as she puts the check on the table. 

"wow that's pretty cheap" Chrollo says as he puts 2070.75 yen inside the check. "alright lets go y/n" Chrollo says as he grabs my hand and we walk out the restaurant. He has a tight grip on my hand. Chrollo leads me to a flowery spot inside the woods.

"Wow its beautiful!" I say while I hold Chrollo's hand a bit tighter. "Have you ever had your first kiss yet y/n?" Chrollo asks me. "ehhh- YEAH I Have.." my voice gets quieter as I say that. I look at him.

"...."

we stay looking at each other in silence. "y/n?"  "Y-yes Chrollo?"  "Are you tired?"  "a little bit. why?" he sits on the floor and pats his lap. "You can lay down on me"   "Oh no its fine" I sit on the floor in front of him. "Can I space out? Whenever I do space out I'll fall asleep. Is that okay?" I ask Chrollo "Yes you can do whatever" he says as I fade away from reality to space out. 

he- I- what's this feeling? the only other times I felt this was when I was fighting Shalnark and when Feitan was yelling at me. I got too close to Shal while fighting him. then I disregarded that feeling when Feitan was yelling at me but I could still feel it. what is this feeling? why am I feeling it towards these three boys? Why am I feeling like this now? What is my problem? What's wrong with me? Questions I want to know the answer to but I don't get an answer. I feel my body drop to my knees. what's wrong with me? why am I acting so weird? Why? WHY? Why not? Why me? Out of all the stronger people, why me? What's up with me? I fall asleep as I listen to Chrollo's heavy breathing and I fall on his lap.

That was the last thing  heard before my head hits his leg. 

"..."

I awaken to my name being called. "y/n?" "I'm up!" I notice that I'm still with Chrollo. "we've been out for 1 day and a half I think we should head back now." Chrollo says as he helps me up to my feet. "Okay but first I have to conjure up some normal clothes." I conjure up a grey hoodie with a purple and black beanie and some nice jeans. "I am going to go change" I walk over to where Chrollo cant see me. I change Rather Quickly and I walk up to Chrollo. "Alright lets go." I grab his hand and I walk with him to the Hideout.
