I was coming out of my house when my friend Ichigo walked by. Yep Ichigo Kurosaki. 

"Hey loser wait up!" I called. He laughed.

"Come on shortie and catch up." He said. I laughed and ran up to catch up with him. I smiled he chuckled and shook his head. 

"Okay I'm not short! I'm vertically challenged." I said. 

"Whatever you say Tiger-Lilly," He chuckled. I groaned. They couldn't just call me Lilly instead of my full name. No of course not because Ichigo liked to annoy the hell out of me. 

But anyway let me introduce myself. My name is Tiger-Lilly Kuchiki. Since I was real little I could see ghosts. When I was about 7 my dad was murdered by this monster while I was playing soccer with him in our backyard. I later found out that a Hallow murdered him. Later when I was 9 my mother was killed along with my friend Ichigo's mother. It was the same hallow that had killed my father and it was after me. My adoptive parents thought that it was the town and decided to take me out of it. So while I was on my way out of town on a bus the bus crashed into the hallow that was after me. I flew through the window and ended up dying. I was automatically transferred to the Soul Society. No guidance or anything just got taken there. 

The Soul Society was baffled by it. They had never come across a soul being transported there on their own before. They also declared that some part of me was still alive or part human but I was still like dead. They were just as confused as I was but I apparently had a strong amount of Spiritual pressure so they sent me to the Soul Reaper Academy. There they taught me everything I needed to know about Soul Reapers and hallows and killing them. When I was almost done with the academy this family called the Kuchiki clan wanted to adopt me. So they did. 

After the academy- graduating top of my class-I was automatically put into the 13 court guard squads as 3rd seat of 6th division. The same division that my brother is captain of. I want to be a captain or a lieutenant so bad but they won't let me. But back a few years ago I went on a mission and got ambushed. I was knocked out and I couldn't remember anything until I came back to and I was lying on the door step of the squad 6 barracks with everyone surrounding me. They ran tests on me to make sure I was alright and stuff but the test came back alright so they let me go. Well back to the present now. 

"Well you should wait for the people who are vertically challenged!" I said. He shook his head as he raised his arm up and rested his arm on the top of my head. 

"Hey I'm not an arm rest!" I said. 

"Short enough to be one." He chuckled. I rolled my eyes and then my phone went off. I glanced down and pulled it out. My phone was my phone and my soul pager that let me know when and where a Hallow was going to show up. 

"What's that about?" Ichigo said. 

"I got to go it’s emergency." I said running off. 

"Wait is everything okay?!" He yelled as I ran down the street and turned the corner. I went into the nearest dark alley and slammed my hands together. I was thrust into my soul reaper outfit and I jumped up and landed on the building of the roof in front of me. I pulled out my soul pager and I looked down at the address and I realized that street was right near the school. 

"Fuck." I muttered. I ran towards the school and I was waiting for the hallow to appear on top of a light pole. I had my zanpakutō and I was ready. Then I heard the footsteps and I looked down to see right underneath of me a hallow. 

"I smell soul reaper." He hissed. I rolled my eyes. Then he glanced up and I saw the sick smile come over his face and I grimaced. 

"Aww a small one with kenseikan. A noble relic, I'll be glad to taste your soul noble." He hissed at me. It was true. When I was in my Soul Reaper form I had a kenseikan in my pulling my bangs over in front of one eye like my brother had. He had given it to me as a birthday present a year ago. 

"I'll be glad...to wipe you out!" I said coming down on him quick and slicing two arms out of the six he had. He roared in pain and then swung at me with his other remaining arm on that side and slammed me into the side of the building cutting me along my waist in the process. I groaned and glared at him. I lunged at him and swung and but his stomach and he stumbled backwards ready to go through the slit in the air that appeared behind him.

"Oh no you don't," I muttered. I jumped up off the ground and slammed my blade into his mask and he disintegrated. I smiled and landed and the slit behind him closed. I sighed and then that's when I heard footsteps. I moved quickly to a nearby tear on the ground of the school to see Ichigo walk by. 

"You can't just call me Lilly, can you?" I muttered as I sat on a low branch. Ichigo stopped and turned around. He stared right at me. 

"What are you doing here I thought you had an emergency to go to? What the hell are you wearing?" He asked. 

"Whoa you can see me?" I asked jumping down in front of him.

"Yeah and what the hell do you have a sword for?! If they see you with that in school they'll expel you!" He yelled. I sighed. 

"Ichigo if you don't come soon you'll be late!" Orihime yelled walking in. He nodded. 

"She can't see me." I said as he looked confused. 

"Why can't she see you?" He asked. 

"I'm in my Soul Reaper stuff. Normal people can't see me but people who like you who can see ghost can...which I should've realized." I said. He stood there wide-eyed while I pulled out a thing that looked like a cigarette lighter.

"Well it was nice talking to you while you could remember this." I smiled.

"I don't think I'm going to forgot about this." He said. 

"You will after this." I said. A puff of smoke came out of the cigarette thing and I quickly disappeared to the top of the next building. I watched him blink a few times before walking into school knowing he had a new memory instead of the one just talking to me a few seconds ago. Then I had a feeling of me being watched. I glanced up at the nearest building which towered the one I was on and saw a figure at the top with a sword. He was standing in the sun so I couldn't see his face. I saw something change in the face but as soon as I did arms went around my waist and I jumped. I glanced back to see Cody. 

Cody was my boyfriend in the soul society. He had been there when I first got to the academy and had been my first friend. I had only a few friends in the soul reaper academy because of how I came to the Soul Society. Everyone said before I left he was planning on proposing to me but I have yet to see it. He's the 3rd seat of squad 10. His brother is the captain of his squad like mine but he wasn't a noble. 

"Good job down there." He smiled.

"Was that you up there on the building?" I asked.

"No....wait you saw someone else?" He asked. I nodded. 

"Yeah they had a sword." I said. We both glanced up but whoever it was was gone for now.

"I'll check into it later." He promised. I nodded. He wrapped his arms around my waist and smiled. I hissed. 

"What's wrong?" He asked. 

"I'm okay just a little cut up around my waist." I said. He nodded.

"Why don't we go back to my apartment and you can fix me up." I smiled. He nodded and we headed back to my apartment. But before we got there I stopped and got my stuff that I had left in the alley. When we both got into my apartment we changed. I changed into my regular self and Cody changed into his gigai. We watched movies after he got me patched up. My soul pager kept going off but then going blank. I didn't understand it till I realized there might be another soul reaper. 

"Who else is here?" I asked quickly. 

"What do you mean?" Cody asked. 

"My soul pager gives me an assignment and then it just disappears. That means there's another soul reaper nearby. Who is it?" I asked sitting up looking at Cody. 

"I don't know." He muttered staring out the window.

"Cody Thomas Hitsugaya who else is here?" I asked. 

"Rukia." He said.

"My sister of course. Always get assigned to the same places I am." I muttered. 

"Don't worry. Think of it as a vacation." He smiled. 

"Alright." I yawned. 

"Why don't we get some sleep?" He chuckled. I nodded and he helped me up off the couch and I changed into pajamas and Cody stayed with me until I fell asleep.
