You sat on the couch in the living room, staring at the amulet on the bracelet kai gave you. Just looking at it made you worried. What if your parents didnt like him? Your parents were very protective. They didnt want you around boys, especially one you liked. You jumped out of your thoughts when you heard a knock on the door, and you were about to go get it when your dad pushed you out of the way. You watched from the floor as kai appeared at the doorway, nervously looking at your father.

"H-hi mr. L/n. Is y/n here?" quickly you got up, and peeked over your fathers shoulder. "Hey kai! Whats up?" hastily, your father let him in,  and he sat beside you on the couch. Your father sat across from you, glaring at you and kai. Your mother broke the awkward silence, smiling at you cheerfully.

"Hello y/n, who is he? And why does your father seem agitated?"
"Hi there, im kai, and i have to say, im in love with your daughter." your moms eyes coldened with concern, looking back at you with suspicion.

"And you love him?"
"Yes."
"Why?" your father glared at you coldly, but you held your ground. "Because he cares! When i met him at the dojo, i saw more than a hothead spiky hair snob-"

"Hey!"
"As i was saying, i saw more than that. I saw... Protection... He loves me, and he can protect me. Please, please let me date him!" tears stung your eyes as you grasped kais hand. After a few moments, your father looked down and muttered, "you better take care of her," you fell into kais arms crying, knowing that he loved you forever, and he was yours.
