**Myra's POV**

When you are home alone and you have nothing to do, you think. And thoughts from the past flash through your mind. I don't really know about you, but this is was happens to me. Or I'll say, what is happening to me right now.
The memories from the past flashed through my mind. Suddenly, tears started flowing from my eyes and the bell rang. Quickly, I wiped my tears and rushed towards the door. I opened it and there he was standing, Casper. I felt weak, so I hugged him as soon as I saw him. I realised that the only person who was able to understand me after Mom was him. Suddenly I felt safe with him. He stood there still for a moment, before embracing me into his arms.
"What happened, Myra? Is everything okay?" He asked.
"Yeah." I pulled away. "I was feeling a bit insecure."
"Thank God!" He said. I gave him a confused look. "I mean, Thank God! That I am here on time, yeah?" He explained.
I nodded and smiled.
"Anyways, why are you here." I asked.
"I-I... Why am I here???..." He mouthed. He looked like he didn't know what he was saying. And he continued, "Ac- Actually, I was getting bored, so.... So.. I thought of inviting you to play video games." He answered.
"Sure" I was glad.
"Cool! Let's go!"
"You could've called me instead of wasting your energy in coming upstairs. You know, you'll have to save it up to play video games." I teased him.
"Oh! Yeah. My... My phone was dead."

**Casper's POV**

No. My phone wasn't dead. Nor did I go to invite her to play video games with me. I just went to check if she was fine. I don't know, I had this weird feeling that she wasn't okay, and there she was 'not okay'. Without giving it a second thought I ran upstairs. Thanks to the presence of my mind that I was able to give a valid reason.

We came downstairs. Joe was out, as usual. Harry was in his room studying some chemistry stuff. I connected the remotes to the TV and handed one of the remotes to Myra and grabbed one for myself. We started the game. It wasn't difficult for me to win. She had already lagged behind. First time, I won. Second time, I won. Third time, I won. Fourth, fifth, sixth, I won and I looked at her from the corner of my eye. I wanted her to have fun and here I was being a competitive asshole. She didn't look happy but she didn't complain either. I restarted the game and I let her win all the games we played after that. When the TV screen flashed, 'The 2nd Player is the WINNER!', she looked satisfied. She jumped up the couch and shouted, "'WOOOHOOO I WON!!" I let her win every single time. When she won the last game, she teased me, "LOSER! LOSER! Casper is a LOSER!" Sticking her tongue out, she was provoking me to tickle her.

I got up the couch and started tickling her, "It's just a simple racing game. Someone wins and someone loses. It ain't a big deal." I said playfully.
"Stop Casper. I can't breathe." She screamed and laughed and slapped me on my shoulder repeatedly. But then, she accidentally slapped me on my cheek. I immediately pulled back and groaned, "Ouch! that was really bad." Placing my hand on my cheek.
She stood there, confused, jaw dropping to the earth and her eyes widened in shock. She came closer to me, "I'm so sorry, Casper. Oh gosh! I didn't mean it. I am so so sorry." She hurried and continued, "Show it to me" trying to remove my hand from my cheek.

I removed my hand.
"Oh it has turned Red. I'm so sorry, Casper. It just... I... I... didn't mean to hurt you that way. I'm so sor-" she apologised.
"Hey! It's okay. It's totally fine. I knew you didn't mean it. It was an accident. I know. Don't worry. I'm okay." I said cutting her sentence.

I was able to see the guilt in her eyes. As they have rightly said, 'Your eyes are the window to your soul', her eyes were, indeed the window to her soul.

I threw my hands in the air and shouted, "Look I'm fine." and jumped around, "I'm totally fine." I sang and she laughed her heart out on my antics.
I joined her in the laughter after I realised that it was enough of making fun of my own self and got seated next to her on the couch.
"You know what? You are crazy" she laughed and added, "Idiot."

We laughed together and she looked beautiful, even more beautiful, when she had that smile on her face.

And I was happy... Because... She was happy...
