Sorry if this chapter is a very late! :( I've been kind of busy and I've been running out of ideas lately, but I hope you enjoy! :)

Your POV

"Hey, (y/n), did you know that today is Ace's birthday?" Nami asked as she walked up to me.

"Today?! January 1st??" I said, panicking. Crap. I need to get him a gift.

"Well, of course. But anyways, me and the gang are going to have a surprise for him after school and we want all of our friends to help, even you," Nami grinned.

"Uhhh...what do you want me to do?" I questioned, but still panicked. 

"I want you to stall Ace while we plan the surprise party at his house. How does that sound?"

"Wait, but, I need to get him a gift!" I started to panic more.

"No worries, Sabo and Luffy will be distracting Ace while you buy a present and you'll distract him after you buy the present cause you, Sabo, and Luffy are probably the best at talking to him and keeping him busy. Sabo and Luffy wants to help with the surprise cause it's their house and brother so the only option left would be you."

I calmed down a bit. "Alright, I'll go with the plan."

"Yes!" Nami pumped her fist in the air.

When school finally ended, I automatically walked to the nearest store to buy Ace a present. I searched very hard, running from store to store to find something really good for Ace and something he might like. I had no luck. Wait...food! Yes, food! If he loves food, then I should get him food! 

Excited, I went to the nearest grocery store, but decided not to buy meat because I don't know how to wrap cooked meat and I don't want to give Ace uncooked meat. I bought a gift card to a restaurant and wrapped it in a little box. 

I looked around and spotted Sabo and Luffy, who were distracting Ace while I buy a present. 

"Hey Sabo, Ace, and Luffy!" I shouted to them while waving. When they saw me, they immediately ran to me and gave me a huge hug.

"(Y/n)!!" They shouted in unison and squeezing me hard. 

"I..can't breathe," I say weakly but I was also laughing. 

"Sorry," they said as they pull back from the hug. 

"It's fine," I said and smile at the three brothers.

"I just remembered! We need to buy more food!" Sabo said.

"Ooh! I wanna come! Yay! Food!" Luffy said excitedly.

"Ace, (y/n), you two can hang out while we're gone and make sure to be back by 7," Sabo winked at us and walked away with Luffy.

"W-wait, what?" Ace said, blushing.

He's so cute when he blushes. I giggle.

"Hey, what's so funny?" he asked while scratching his head.

"Oh, it's nothing," I smile. "Hey Ace, want to go to the arcade?" I asked excitedly.

"Sure, sounds fun!" Ace replied.

We went to the arcade and bought our tickets. We played a lot of games together. Time flew by quickly and before we knew it, it was 7.

"Ace! It's 7:09! You need to get back home!" I said, looking at the clock.

"Oh, right! I kind of forgot!"

I laughed. "I almost forgot because I was having so much fun!" I said happily.

"It sure was fun! I'll go back home now."

"I'm coming with you!" I said, grabbing his hand. He froze and I saw light pink on his cheeks. I blushed a little myself. "W-well, what are we waiting for? Let's get you back home."

"R-right."

While we were walking to Ace's house, we talked about the games at the arcade. Suddenly Ace stopped walking.

"(Y/n)?" he said.

"What is it? Is something wrong?" I questioned.

"U-um, did you know that today is my birthday? Sorry I never told you."

"Of course I do! And I also got you a present!" I dug in my pocket for the little box with the gift card for the restaurant. I couldn't find it.

"Shit! I think I lost it!" I panicked and looked at the floor and behind me, but I didn't see it anywhere. "Oh no! I need to find it!" I ran towards the arcade but I felt something grab my arm.

"It's fine. I don't care if you give me a present. I only care that you care about my birthday. That's all," he smiled at me.

"Wait, I have a another gift but you have to close your eyes."

"Um, ok.." he closed his eyes. 

I went closer to his face. I blushed a lot when I was almost touching his face. I'm really nervous to do this but I have to. I want to give him a gift. I want him to think that I really do care about his birthday...and him. I closed my eyes and kissed him on the lips. His eyes shot open and blushed madly. He held me closer and I wrapped my arms around his neck.

He broke the kiss and said softly, "I don't think any present will ever be better than this one." He smiled. 

We silently walk to Ace's house, hand in hand, and soon arrive.

Ace took out his keys and unlocked the door. He turned the knob and everything was dark. Suddenly, everyone popped out of random hiding spots and the lights turned on.

"SURPRISE!" everyone shouted. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY ACE!!!" 

Ace jumped back a little and started laughing, "You guys scared me! Thanks everyone! This looks awesome!" The room was decorated with lots of party decoration and there was a big cake and many presents on the table.

"You two took so long, it's 7:23. Were you guys on a date?" Nami smirked.

"N-no! We just went to the arcade and talked," I said, blushing. Ace blushed too.

"That's basically a date," Sabo also smirked. "But since we're all here now, let's party!" he exclaimed.

We played party games, talked, ate the cake, and Ace opened the presents.

When the party was finally over, Ace said, "That was the best birthday ever! Thank you everyone who came. I'm really happy and thanks for all the wonderful gifts."

Everyone said your welcome and soon left. I also left and walked home in the dark. I didn't mind cause I had a crazy huge smiled on my face. That was one of the best days of my life. I will never forget it.
