Yoohyeon's POV

I didn't know Dami is this fast at getting into a new relationship. Well, to think that her last one lasted for 3 years.. I didn't actually think she'd moved on that fast.

I glanced at my bestfriend waiting for the popcorn they had just ordered from one of the park's stall with the mysterious red haired girl. Come to think of it, she hasn't even introduced that girl to us..

Minji went beside me sliding her hand with mine and intertwining it together. "Baby? What's wrong?" She looked at me with worried eyes, I shook my head and squeezed our hands tighter to tell her that there's nothing wrong.

"Dami.. it's Dami right?" She looked at me seriously with a hint of sadness.

"Hey now, why'd you look sad? We just had an arguement a couple of days ago. We're good now, see she even decided to come" I gave her a warm smile before lacing my arms around her shoulders.

"Yea but she didn't tell you about any of that huh?" She said pointing at the mysterious girl. I nodded. "You should have a talk with her and fix the misunderstandings, ok?" She titled her head while saying the last word, I smiled and nodded. She leaned in and kiss my left cheek. I smiled at the sweet gesture.

"Now, I'll go bond with my sister. You go ahead find your way into your best friend agenda, but DO NOT leave the red haired girl feeling unwanted, got it?" she said. One of the main reasons why I fell for Minji is because she's the most considerate person I've ever met. Not only she cares for me as much as I do for her but she also cares for the people around me.

In my past early relationships, I was the only one who always put the effort. I've struggled a ton, questioning my capabilities and my emphaty suffered because I was always the first to get attached only to be left alone by the person I've fully invested my time and effort thinking they'll do the same.

Even after I met Minji and asking her to date me.. I struggled to put my trust again and to risk it all. We've both got cheated on, countless times for me and I guess that was the base line story of this relationship at first, you know, two people who got cheated on ended up falling in love with each other but I realized that that's not the case, and that none of that mattered.

Because if I hadn't eavesdropped back then and didn't know what had happened to her, I would still fall in love with her. She comforts my existence, makes me feel wanted and her sacrificing her own feelings for ours is what truly opened my eyes to changed the way I thought about life and love differently and for the better and for that I'm highly grateful to her and I know the people around me are as well. Maybe it's time to introduce her to Mom..

I felt a nudged on my left, "you've been zoning out Yooh" Dami said worriedly. "Oh it's nothing. Also, congratulations" I said making her narrowed her eyebrows at me.

"Huh? For what? Also, I'm really sorry about what I said back there in the studio" I nodded. "Don't mention it, I was a dick too. I didn't consider what you were feeling at the time. Who's the girl?" I nod towards the red haired girl.

"Oh that's my cousin, Gahyeon-ah! Come over here" I choked on my juice which made Minji look over at me worriedly, I gave her an ok-sign to let her know I'm fine.

"C-cousin??" I whispered, "yea.. wait what else did y— oh, jesus no yooh" she laughed and hit me on my shoulders.

"Yes, unnie?" Gahyeon asked.

"This is my best friend, Yoohyeon. Yoohyeon this is my cousin Gahyeon" Dami introduced us making me blushed from embarrassment for thinking differently.

"Nice to meet you, unnie. Also, you might wanna retract your hand as your girlfriend is shooting daggers at me with her eyes" Gahyeon smiled awkwardly looking at my girlfriend's direction. I retracted my hand before turning around to face my girlfriend and giving her a sweet smile.

"right.. so can I talk to your cousin for minute, Gahyeon-ah?" The red haired girl was surprised by my sudden informal way of speaking but she immediately smile and nodded.

I pulled Dami somewhere private but not too far away from her cousin as I remembered what Minji demanded me to do.

"Ok here's the plan.." Dami looked at me surprised, "There's a plan?" She asked surprised again. I rolled my eyes, "you see that blonde girl over there with Minji? That's Handong, her step sister" I informed her.

"And?" She asked me confused, "I'd like to introduce you to her" I smiled but saw her frowned so I did too.

"Ok, she's gorgeous but.." I cut her off, "no buts, just trust me on this ok?" She sighed before nodding.

"Ok, now go with your cousin. I'll go over there and tell Minji first about this whole cousin revelation thing" she looked at me in disbelief, "don't tell me that the reason y'all reacted that way earlier was because y'all thought me and Gahyeon are.. HAHAHAHHA" she laughed annoyingly surprising everyone near us. I shook my head while secretly giving her the middle finger before turning away and heading towards Minji and her sister.

"Hey baby, can I borrow your sister for a little bit?" I raised both of my eyebrows at her and smiled. She looked at me confused but she nodded anyway. She looked at her sister before walking towards Bora-unnie and Siyeon-unnie.

"Hey, Dongie.. so about that—" I couldn't finish what I was saying because she interrupted me, "Where is she Yoohyeon-ah?" she glared at me and I laughed nervously.

"Uh.. yah! DAMI-YAH COME OVER HERE PLEASE!" I saw Dami gave me an embarrassed look before walking towards us.

"Handong, this is Dami. Dami, this is Handong. Please treat each other respectfully" I grinned at them, Handong scoffed, "No. she has a girlfriend!" Dami laughed but stopped as soon as Handong glared at her.

"T-that's my cousin by the way.." I can tell the nervousness in Dami's voice, I giggled.

"oh" All Handong could say, I laughed slightly.

"Alright, I'll leave you two for now. Bring Gahyeon with you guys, ok?" I smiled at them before turning around to walk towards my girlfriend but she doesn't look like she's having fun to me..

"Hey baby" I leaned in to give her a peck but she turned her face away making my kiss land on her cheeks instead.

"Babe.. what's wrong?" I looked at her with my puppy eyes and to my sister, Bora who's glaring at me and Siyeon who just gave me a shrug.

"Is there something wrong? Are you hot? Do you want ice cream? We can get it over there?" I tried my best to get her attention but she's giving me the cold shoulder. I sighed.

"Ok, I'll get us ice cream. Wait here okay?" I went to the ice cream stall and get all four of us ice cream.

I can't help but feel worried about Minji. She never showed this side of her so she must be really not in the mood right now. Did something happen?

I went back gave them the ice cream I bought. Minji took hers but still didn't give me any attention. I pouted.

Throughout the time we're at the park she didn't say anything to me nor reacted to any of my jokes which is making me feel sad and honestly my overthinking is getting the best of me thinking I did something wrong to make her act this way. I glanced at her reacting so well at my sister's jokes but never to mine. I must've done something wrong then..

It's now time to go back to Seoul, I grabbed Minji's hands gently. I heaved a sigh of relief when she didn't pull back.

"Ride with me? Siyeon is taking my sister and Dami's taking Gahyeon and your sister" she looked at me in disbelief.

"Handong is coming with us" she said firmly.

"Oh but they said they're seeing a musical together with Gahyeon since it's not too late yet" I explained calmly. She didn't say anything, she went to her sister.

I glanced at them before unlocking my car and waiting for the both of them to come inside the car. Handong didn't come this way with Minji instead stayed with Dami, so I guess she let them then.

I opened the door for Minji and she got in. I glanced at her while she's putting on her seatbelt, still no expression on her face.

"Babe?" I called, she answered with a hm.

"Is everything ok? Did I do something wrong?" I peeked at her but she's looking out the window.

"Just... drive me home and then we'll talk there, please" she replied softly. I sighed and nodded before turning on my car's engine and driving us to her condo.
