Freen's POV

Tim's a mess. We are still gathered here in the cafeteria. I wanted answers and I want it now.

Freen: (serious voice) Tim, what's your relationship with Yuki?

Tim is silent and she's still crying hard. I am patiently waiting for her response but all I can hear from her are sobs and cries that made me annoyed.

Freen: (annoyed) Do you have plans to answer me?

Kate: Don't raise your voice, Freen. She's hurt. Yuki and Tim are lovers, okay.

I stopped asking since Rebecca is signaling me to stop and wait. Tim calmed down a little after some time so I suggested we go to the gym since our class already started. We are quiet and waiting for Tim to explain.

Tim: (serious voice) Yuki and I been together for 3 months. Yesterday, she went to my place. Everything was great, we even made love for the first time. I woke up earlier than she is so I went and had a shower. When I went out I saw her holding my phone and her eyes looked surprised that she dropped my phone. She froze, I picked my phone and saw a bug being installed.

She started crying again after. "What the hell she just finished crying a while ago. How much tears does she have to produce? I hate it when people don't finish what they started." I hid my annoyance and impatience. Finally Jim continued her explanation.

Jim: Tim called me and I asked Dad about the bug that she's installing and Dad told me it's the kind of bug that gives access to everything and anything in Tim's phone. Her camera serves as eyes and the mic serves as ears. The bug can access Tim's location, read messages, tapped every call and can even access banks.

"That's a relief" Meaning Tim did not help Yuki at all. All the tension I felt was immediately gone after hearing that. Finally I was able to breathe.

Tim: I was just so mad, we had a heated argument and I even broke up with her. The last time we talked, the last time we saw each other I said words that I didn't mean to. I hurt her and now she's gone.

Tim bursts into tears so the gang comforted her. It pains me to see her hurt.

Jim: Don't worry we will know Yuki's motive behind, Dad already conducted an investigation.

We stayed silent, sadness and questions were written all over their faces. "If only they knew that Grandma used Yuki to spy on me, and Yuki used Tim. Too bad, Tim loved Yuki."  I was enjoying my peace when Jim told me to accompany her to the comfort room. She dragged me away from the group.

Jim: I know that this is not the right time to ask especially that someone is dead. To hell with it. When is the wedding?

Freen: (confused) Wedding? What wedding?

Jim: Kirk message me, he said you want me to be the witness of your wedding with Rebecca. Since when did you became her fiance? Why are you not there when I went to the hotel?

Freen: (nervous laugh) Oh, about that. Kirk just messing with you.

Jim: (angry) That honk!! He lied to me?! That's not funny at all. His lucky that his handsome. Tell him he owes me a date with an apology.

Freen: If you like I can also tell him that you like him.

Jim: Duuuhhh. I just want to eat into a fancy restaurant without spending money. Free food, it's way more delicious that way. Tell him he owes me a gift.

Freen: (giggling) Okay, I'll tell him that. I apologized for the confusion Jim.

Jim: (smiling) I'll be the maid of honor when you get married and we're good.

We went back to where the group is and they looked gloomy. Tim stopped crying as well. After some time we decided to go back to class. We were on our way when Kate stopped me from walking and we kept a distance to the group.

Kate: (serious voice) This is a serious matter, Freen. What kind of help do you need? Who's blackmailing you and since when did you learn to film sex scandal? Did Rebecca convince you to do that? She might be shady you know, Yuki and her are best friend. I went to the hotel as soon as I could but you weren't there.

Freen: About that, Kirk is just messing with you. He didn't mean any of those. I'm sorry for wasting your time and for the confusion. I'll tell Kirk to give you a gift as a compensation.

Kate: (angry) That's not nice! That's not something to joke about you know! I was really worried! I thought I could finally watch the scandal and keep a copy with me!

Freen: (disgusted) You gonna keep a copy of your friends sex scandal? Iww, that's disgusting!

Kate: You kidding? How can a germaphobic have sex. I'm curious. I thought I found something juicy and worth watching for. Did you two have sex already?

I shook my head and left Kate to caught up with the gang since she's being disgusting and sex is private, it's not something to talk about. We enter our classroom. I also noticed Rebecca, being quiet and bothered. I held her right hand and moved my chair closer to her. She smiled as she rest her head unto my shoulder. We didn't do anything much since graduation is coming. It's lunch time and Tim doesn't want to eat with us. She wants to stay inside the classroom.

I let the gang go first cause I wanted to talk to her. Like Jim and Kate she must have a question for me about Kirk's message.

Freen: Tim, Did you receive a message from Kirk?

Tim: (sad voice) I didn't. Why?

Freen: Just asking, and to start a conversation with you.

"So, Yuki was the person who received the message from Kirk and deleted it afterwards"

Freen: (serious voice) It's not your fault, she's gone you know.

Tim: (crying) I yelled at her, Freen. I broke up with her. I called her a traitor and cussed at her. I wish our last interaction didn't end up like that. I wish we didn't end on bad terms.

Freen: (sitting beside Tim) You're feelings are all valid, she did betray you. You were hurt so it's normal to express pain, anger and disappointment. You can still see her. If you want to change your final interaction with her, you can do that in her funeral. Say you're last goodbye and make it something that you won't regret in the future.

I hugged Tim again and rub her back for comfort.

Tim: (giggling) This is the first time you hugged me twice. It feels weird.

Freen: I guess I'm just doing this because I feel sorry.

"Sorry for doubting you, Tim. For sacrificing Yuki. I just wanted to protect Rebecca"

Tim: Thank you, Freen. I needed that.

Freen: (smiling) If you really are then let's go eat lunch.

Tim smiled at me as she nods. Now we're on our way to the cafeteria. We saw the gang and now we're eating peacefully. Lunch was quiet but in a good way. All of them are mourning for Yuki while I am, celebrating in silence. The gang's is still loyal to me. I message my secretary to call off the funeral that I set for Tim.

The teacher made some announcement about the graduation and we did nothing much after that. Rebecca has been awfully quiet and she's in deep thinking. I want to comfort her but I don't know what to say so I just stayed beside her. The class ended so we bid our goodbyes to the gang. I opened the car door for Rebecca and she went in. I was about to start the car when she asked me something.

Rebecca: Teerak, who's sam?

My eyes widen at her question and my heart beats so fast. My mind flashed back and I remembered telling her to call me Sam. "Shit! Shit! I knew drinking alcohol was never a good idea" I needed to breathe and calm my nerves before answering her.

Freen: (calmed voice) Is that what you've been thinking?

Becky: (shaking her head)  I'm thinking about Yuki. I'm looking for a reason why she killed herself, why would she betray Tim?

Freen: Beats me. I never knew she had it in her.

Becky: She's been my best friend since high school, this behavior of hers is questionable.

Freen: (confused) Really? You've been together since high school?

"How long did Grandma put Yuki as a spy on Becky's life? Are all the people around Rebecca works with Grandma?"

Becky: Yeah.

Freen: (confused) How about that
Nop guy? How long have you've been friends?

Becky: Since childhood.

"Okay, That's good, it means Nop does not work with Grandma then"

Freen: I see. That's good then. You can trust Nop.

Becky: Of course I do. I'm just keeping my distance from him since I don't want to give you a reason to get jealous.

Freen: (smiling) Aww, Really. That's so sweet. As long as he doesn't steal you from me then I'm good. You can have interaction with him Honey. I'm fine with that.

"Keep your real friends close, Teerak"

Becky: You never answered my question Teerak, Whose Sam?

Freen: Just a nickname

Becky: Your nickname?

Freen: Someone's nickname

Becky: (confused) Someone's nickname or your real name? That's what you said to me.

Freen: (nervous laugh) Look, Teerak. Forget it okay? I was drunk. I told you people say crazy things when they are drunk.

Rebecca: You sounded so sincere when you told me to call you that. Would you like me to call you Sam?

"Yes, I would love you to call me Sam but it would be dangerous"

Rebecca: (she looked at me intently with a sweet voice) Sam.

I stepped on my break as I looked at her. My heart is pumping hard and I feel butterflies in my stomach. Calling me in my real name gives me euphoria but I also fear that it will put me and here in trouble.  "Lie, Freen. Lie."

Freen: (serious voice) My real name is Freen Sarocha Chankimha, Teerak. I was just being drunk and I'm saying a lot of crazy things. Sam is just someone I know back then. Sam died 10 years ago, Teerak. Can you please not mention that name again.

Rebecca: Then why did you asked me to call you that name?

Freen: (sincere) I just miss Sam. She was a happy, sweet and honest child. She had everything she needed she had a perfect life but in just a snap everything died as a result Sam died with them too.

Rebecca: (sad) I'm sorry to hear that, Teerak. My bad. Who is she in your life then?

Freen: (sad smile) She's just someone in the past Teerak. Can we please not talk about her again.

Rebecca: (smiling) Okay, Love. I'm sorry.

I smiled back at her sweetly and drop her off at their house. I went home after. I went inside and saw Grandma on the living room. Kirk is kneeling down and he's bleeding. I cleared my throat to let Grandma know of my presence. She just looked at me and turned her focus on Kirk.

Grandma: (angry) I lost an inside man because of you Kirk!! I thought that Yuki betrayed me and it turns out it's you who did it! Who do you work for?!!

I went near Kirk and checked his condition. It's pretty bad but I'm glad Grandma didn't put a bullet on him yet.

Freen: (cold voice) I told him to do it, Grandma

Grandma was taken aback. She didn't expect me to say those words. It took time before she responded to me.

Grandma: (surprised) Why?

Freen: (firm voice) I don't want you to use my tools against me. Only I have that kind of previlege. I don't mind you using other people to spy on me, to check my every move. But it's different when it comes to them.

Grandma: What makes you think that I would sabotage your relationship with your gang?

Freen: Remember the time when Rebecca slapped me. That's where I got suspicious of them so I needed to fix it.

Grandma made me kneel to level her height. She then caressed my cheek but slapped it hard afterwards that blood begin to come out of my lip. "Fuck! This old lady has a lot of strength left"

Grandma: You're getting brave little one. How dare you work against me. Now I lost something valuable.

I straightened my back and bowed myself to her. I held both of her hands with mine and I kissed it.

Freen: (sincere) I wouldn't dare Grandma. It was a wrong call. I just thought that one of my gang is working with you. That's a breach of contract between us, we both agreed that you won't touch or use them. You, yourself taught me how to handle betrayal. I'm really sorry Grandma. It was a poor judgement and poor decision on my part. I hope you forgive me.

Grandma: Why do I feel like you're doing this for far greater reason than what you told me? Are you sure this has nothing to do with that Armstrong girl. I can't help but shake the feeling that you care about her.

Freen: (serious voice) It just happens that your spy and my tool (Tim) are in love with each other so a mixed up had happened. I know Yuki made her way on Tim to give you more accurate and good reports but it brought confusion and precautions on my end. I'm really sorry, Grandma.

Grandma seems to be convinced on what I said but I can feel her doubts as she looks at me.

Grandma: As a punishment with your actions. I will not tell you when I plan to test Rebecca and strike an attack. I will not tell you any information about that. I only command you to stay down. I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt Freen. I'm gonna let this slide.

I bowed again to Grandma and she left us in the living room. I helped Kirk and sent her to Liza after.
