Chapter 1

"Ginny!" My mum called from the basement, "Come down here!"

I ran downstairs as quick as I could because if there's one thing I know, my mum is not very patient.

"Yeah?" I said as I reached the bottom of the stairs.

"You, Harry, Ron, Hermione, Fred, George, and Percy are going to take this to our new neighbors," she said motioning to them.

"We're giving them cookies, you see," said Percy while holding up the tray of cookies.

"Now hurry up, we haven't got a moment to loose!" Said Fred and George in unison.

Fred and George shooed us out the door. We didn't live to far from them, only about a fourth of a mile away, but they were the only neighbors we had.

I had no idea who to walk with. Normally I would have walked next to Ron, but he had his friends over and I could never walk next to the Harry Potter. I have had a crush on him for years. Now I'll be going to Hogwarts with him, but he probably won't even notice me. I'll just be a franky first year.

"Look!" Exclaimed Ron, "I see the house!"
