If she could bury herself with tofu she would done so.Now rumours about her and Dijun was spreading across the six realms like fire.She couldn't believe she kiss Donghua Dijun , the former ruler of universe,the one who unite all the lands infront of others in her aunt's wedding!

The wedding was celebrated for nine days..and yet here she is ..sulking in Taichen Palace..the only part of the world that no one dare to enter casually or speak badly about her.She was still in her fox form but the maids still treat her like a Queen.She pretty much indulge herself with snacks,staying in Dijun's study room.It was the most comfortable place for right now! after all , she was still avoiding Dijun!

'Dijun could just easily clear all this rumours but he didn't care!'

He is literally beating her heart, it hurts her to be honest.Being near him,was painful since he was someone that she can never own.She didn't want to fall in love with him even more but her heart betrays her, this always happen all because of Donghua Dijun who only treated her like his daughter..or granddaughter..whichever it is..She knew her place, she won't over step her boundaries like she used to do during her youth, chasing Dijun around as he ignore her.

Her ears perk up when she heard footstep as she immediately hid under the red pillow that was provided by the maids for her to sleep on.Her tails fummed against the floor ,being silent under there.

Dijun didn't much care what she did,he only sat on the floor of his study room and read the sutra of buddhist scripture as always with his hand against his chin as he leaned side way against the pillow.Dijun enjoy the silence, since his little fox has stop throwing tantrum every since last night.

He was burning the incense as always making FengJiu raise her head a bit, smelling the scent of Sandalwood was getting even stronger.She tip toed herself to Dijun,wondering how should she trick him as a payment for her embrassment? not to mention not helping her regain her human form.

Though, Dijun swiftly caught the red fox that was sneaking behind him and place it on his lap before running it finger against it soft fur,pretty much to her dismay..her body once again betray her as she felt comfortable being close to him making her forgot what she was going to do.His warmth was envoleping her and it made her eyelids heavier..she looks at him from her lashes and let out a small yawn..she could have swore that a small smile tug on his lips..

'Dijun you shameless...'

He is craddling her to go to sleep...he knew she was going to do something mischievous..he knew very well her weakness making her vulnerable against him..if only Xiao Yan was here to help her against Dijun..but unfortunately no one dare to come to TaiChen Palace casually..

She did her best to fight off her sleepiness and pretty much did her best to keep herself away to the point of squinting her eyes as her eyelids keep on getting heavier..She could smell the rain against the soil and just notice it was raining right now..this was probably Dijun's doing to drag her to the dream world..

"FengJiu!"

she heard Yan Chiwu's voice and perk her head up.He was heading toward her and was drenched from the rain that was gettinf heavier as the wind became even stronger all of the sudden that some of the papers on the table flew away , the maids that was guarding the room hurriedly chase after those papers.

"Ice-- I mean Dijun,I came here to spend time with FengJiu, I has even gotten the approval of her aunt for this matter.We will just be talking around this palace"

He held out his hand at him..with a dumbfounded face while bowing his head in respect of the oldest deity in the world..Heaven really is a pain in the neck place..having so much rules and all.

From heavy rain to a storm, that was what happening in the TaiChen Palace,but Dijun face shows no emotion..but his eyes darken as if he could kill someone right now,sending chills own FengJiu's spines.

Fengjiu hesitately crawl toward Yan Chiwu as her body was low down against the floor.The thunder struck to the ground hard causing her to flinched a bit and jump onto Yan Chiwu's arms..causing more and more thunder echoing in the sky that she wonder what's wrong with today's weather--

Even though Dijun didn't say a word as they walk away, she could still feel his gaze on them..Yan Chiwu headed toward the small jade gazebo and sat there with FengJiu placed on the round jade table that was well carve ..it was probably made by Dijun.Dijun is extremely good at making stuff from scratch..except for his cooking.His cooking is deadly and can easily kills immortal's essence with just a whiff.

"Here take this medicine,I got it from your Aunt.It can at least stable your essence for an hour or so"

The medicine looks like a mable , it was slightly transparent and looks like a glass..but her Aunt won't lie to her..so FengJiu took the medicine from his hand with her palm and swallow it.The taste was extremely bitter that she stick her tongue out as the colour on her face fade away-- But thanks to the medicine she regain back her human form..and she was sitting on the jade table..well better than sitting on Dijun's lap.

Yan Chiwu place both of his hands behind his head and sighed in relief that the medicine was working.He may be a demon lord but he was still a friend.He values friendship more than anyone could guess..well of course Jiheng is still on the top of his list even though she still won't pay attention to him..

"Xiao Yan, how's the ceremony? I heard they are still celebrating right now...even though I wish to go ..I am stuck here .."

"Cause Ice Face said he will take the responsibility and nurture you until your essence is stable because he said it was partially his fault"

He said blankly and tilted his head to the left a bit before looking at her curiously

"what does he means it was his fault eh?"

"I don't know--I was too drunk to remember anything!"

no matter how hard she pound her head, she couldn't remember what had happen when she was drunk as if her memories had slip away from her.

"Hey I will fetch you some snacks from the banquet okay? wait here! you will love it!"

"I still haven't done!--"

..But he was already gone and the rain seems to settle down a bit when he left.

"..I will give him a good punch when he comes back..."

she nodded to herself while clenching her fist near her chest and sighed.

"Why does this always happen to me...back then when Aunt was trapped in water dungeon ..her shifu came to save her...and everytime she is in danger someone will saveher..I am not asking to be save..but ..it would be nice having someone to help you"

she pulled her knees against her chest to keep her warm, she leaned her cheeks against it and stared at the pond in a distance.Hearing footsteps, she turn head around and was greeted by the smell of sandalwood.She swiftly stood up and brought her hand infront of her.

"Bai FengJiu greets Dijun"

His gaze was soft but his face was stoic as always, as if he doesn't care about anything.He was holding a paper umbrella and gesture her to come near him which she did.They walk back to the TaiChen Palace in silence with FengJiu being behind which literally end up with her back being drenched by the rain.But a strong arm wraps around her shoulder and pulled her closer toward him..blush started to creep on her cheeks as she timidly look away

Even though their walk back to the Palace was silence..Her heart couldn't stop beating fast being near him..but it still hurts..knowing that he only care because he was guilty...and she wouldn't take advantage of it after all it will just lead to her own misunderstanding if she took his kindness for granted.

"Dijun...you can just send me back to QingQiu ..Even though you said this was partially your fault ..it was my fault for drinking too much..so ..ummm...you don't have to feel guilty about it"

He only studied her face for a brief moment before walking back in silence again while keeping her close to him.It may be his own selfishness but he just wanted to spend sometime with his fox.They may no longer have any relationship but that's why he took this chance to be with her for a brief moment.After all the process to take her as his goddaughter will take a long time especially dealing with those all foxes.
