*Lillith's POV*

"Lillith!" I hear someone say behind me. Emma.

"Emma" I reply and turning around to hug her.

"I missed you"

"I missed you more" I really probably did because she is my only friend.

"How have you been" she asked with a concerned look on her face. " How is your dad"

"We're good" I say with a convincing smile so she doesn't ask anymore questions. "How have you been" I ask trying to get off the topic of me.

"I would have been better if you didn't leave. But otherwise, I've been good."

"I'm glad" I say with a genuine smile. God I haven't smile this much in years.

"Hey by the way when you left you will never guess who kept asking me about you." Emma says with a giggle

"Who"

"En-" she says but bell cuts her off so I couldn't hear.

"Shit I can't be late I have to go to class" I say hugging her once more and hurrying to my first class.

Was she about to say Enzo. You know what I don't care right now, the questions can wait.

When the bell rings for lunch I stand up and start picking my stuff up and placing it in my bag. As I step into the hallway I walk right into someone.

"Shit I'm sorry" I say, but soon regretting it. Blake.

"Hey there princess" he says with a smirk.

"Hey asshole" I snap back

"Geez no need to be so rude" he says with an unsettling chuckle.

He pushs me up against the wall at start leaving a trail of kisses down my neck.

"Get your damn paws off me" I say in a not so scared tone this time, just angry. I try to push him back but fail.

He starts sucking a spot on my neck creating a hickey. He continues kissing down my neck as I try to push him off. Nothing helps.

"Blake" a guy with brown hair, and brown eye calls out. "Leave the new girl alone"

"Ok but what's the fun in that" Blake says with a smirk.

"I don't care if it's fun or not get off of her"the guy says walking up to me.

"Yeah ok dad" Blake says rolling his eyes and walks away letting me go. I let my back slide down the wall behind me sighing in relief.

"Hey are you okay" the guy asks. He looks oddly familiar.

"Yeah I'm fine- hey aren't you Enzo's friend"

"Yeah me and him are close- but did Blake hurt you" he replied changing to subject back to the Blake incident.

"No, I'm fine"

"Then what's that" he asks pointing to my neck.

I pull out my phone and open the camera "Shit" I mutter gently touching the hickey on my neck hoping it will go away.

I look at the guy and giggle at the awkward silence.

"The names Luke Sanchez, but my friends call me Luke" he says in a bubble tone making my giggle again.

"I'm Lillith Parker, but everyone calls me Lillith" I say earning a chuckle.

"Well Lillith I hope to see you around" Luke says helping me up from the floor.

"You too Luke" I reply with a smile. Once I'm on my feet Luke gives me a hug and apologies for Blake's behavior. Even though really Blake should be the one apologizing, but I don't think I'm getting one anytime soon.

At lunch thankfully Emma didn't ask many questions. When the last bell of the day rung I pack up my things and head out of class only to bump into a hard chest.

"Fuck not again" I look up and see Enzo staring down at me." Sorry I didn't mean to-"I start to apologize. But I'm not sure why, because he definitely doesn't deserve one.

"Where did you get that" Enzo says looking at the hickey. I see his knuckles start to turn white and his face turn a slight shade of red from his anger when I don't answer. "I said. Where. Did. You. Get. That." He repeats I bit harshly causing me the flinch.

"Wh-what do you mean-mean" I say studder.

"Lillith don't fuck with me, now answer my question, who the fuck gave you that" he says rising his voice I bit making me flinch again

"Why do you care" I snap back

"Because I do, now answer my damn question" I stay quiet.

"Was it's Blake" he questions. I think if you look hard enough you could see flames in his eyes.

"Answer me Bug, was it Blake" I simply nod and don't say anything. "Okay" is all Enzo Said before walking away.

"Enzo what are you going to do"

"Nothing tesoro just go home, I'll see you tomorrow"

"Ok whatever" I roll my eye as I start to walk home.

As I walk into school I feel someone's eyes on me. Blake. As I turn back around to keep walking I see Luke standing in front of me staring down at me.

"Hey have you seen Enzo today" he asks

"No why would I know" I say and scoff to myself.

"I don't know he just talks about you a lot so I just thought-" he says but I cut him off

"Wait he talks about me"I ask confused. Luke was about to reply but instead I see him looks around.

"Where's Blake" he asks.

"I don't know, why?"I ask still confused

"shit"

"What is it" I ask. Suddenly I hear people chanting the word 'fight' and gathering around in a circle.

"Come on"Luke says and I follow him into the group of people until I see Enzo on top of Blake beat the shit out of him. " Shit Enzo get off of him" Luke try to pull him off but fails. If they keep at this they will most likely get expelled or suspended.

"Enzo leave it, whatever happened between y'all is going to have to be put to the side" I say trying to pull Enzo off of Blake.

"No, this bastard can't just be going around touching up on girl" he says rising his voice.

"Both of you go home and cool off" Luke says finally getting the two spilt up. Enzo walks away and I follow.

"What the hell was that Enzo"

"It was nothing" he say all nonchalantly

"Well that sure in the hell didn't look like nothing" I say stopping him in his tracks

"Well it was so just leave it" I notice his lip and cheek bone bleeding, and I really shouldn't care but I do.

"Enzo your bleeding" I say reaching up to wipe the blood off.

" I'll be fine" he says going around me and continues walking.

"Maybe you will but I'm still going to help you"

"Why would you help me"

"Because I have a feeling that fight was about Blake touching me... " I pause "...and this" I finish pointing at the hickey.

"And maybe it was but that doesn't tell me why you want to help me"

"Because I was involved whether I was in the fight or not, and I might not like you that much but your still human. "

"Ok fine but only because we're already at my house" he says then chuckles.
