Arriving

We got to the airport at 5:30am and I was not even barely awake.

"I know it's early, but you have to help get luggages out." He opened the trunk.

"Fine." I groaned.

"Thank you." He sighed.

We finally got all the bags we had out of  the car and into the airport for baggage area. The people who worked in that area weighed all the bags and we sat in the waiting seats to board.

My watch was on my wrist and I looked at it: 5:45. This was going to be a long day. I don't even think I'll be up for anything when we land.

"Babe I'm tired." I leaned on Jake's shoulder falling asleep.

"You can sleep on the plane." He said.

I yawned, thinking about all the fun we're going to have.

"Flight 1 to Florida, we will now begin boarding." The lady came on.

"That's us." I said. We got up to the plane. We each had a smaller bag with us for the plane ride.

We were in section B, so we went to our seats and turns out they were next to each other.

"This is nice." Jake looked around.

"Yeah good seating." I complimented.

"I got Delta because they have TV's and comfy seats." He said laying his seat back. I did the same, as I was still tired.

"Good choice." I said closing my eyes.

"Rest up babe. Because when we land, we're going to have so much fun." He patted my hand.

"I will." I said.

3 hours later I woke up to a landed plane and Jake waking me up.

"Are we there?" I asked half asleep.

"Yes we are." He said standing up.

I quickly gathered my bag and fixed my seat upright, turning the TV off trying to wake up a little.

"Coming." I got into the aisle.

Jake was behind me making sure I was okay and no one bothered me.

"I got my bag." He said. I held mine up, signaling that I had mine too.

He smiled. We are in Florida.

"Ready?!" I screamed.

"Yeah go ahead!" Jake shouted back.

I jumped into the pool water and screamed as I did, letting Jake catch me from jumping off the diving board.

"That was awesome." Jake embraced me.

"Thanks. It was scary though." I shivered. I've never really jumped off of a diving board before, let alone a high one like that.

"But you did it." He kissed my head.

"I know!" I hollered.

He laughed and we spent the rest of the afternoon staying in the pool, having lunch, talking, and going to places around town.

"This place looks nice." I told Jake. We were looking for a place to eat since we were both getting hungry. I picked out a festive sushi place I knew Jake would love right when I saw it on our walk around town.

"Alright. Let's go there." He walked in.

I immediately sniffed the air as we walked in, a scent of hot, spicy sushi on a nearby counter. Waiters and waitresses all over the restaurant were racing back and forth table to table.

"Hi how many?" The waitress asked.

"Just two." I answered.

"Okay right this way." She led us to a back table through other booths and seats.

"Here's your menus." She handed and I smiled at her.

"Can I start you off with any drinks or appetizers?" She perked up.

"Sure. I'll have Sprite. Jake?" I asked Jake.

"Oh. I'll take a Coke please." He said.

"Okay thanks guys, right away." She smiled walking off.

"This is nice." I said.

"Really nice I've never been here before. Sushi Delight." He read the sign.

"Me either. It has a nice name for the place." I smirked.

"Yeah." He laughed.

After about 10 minutes the lady came back with our drinks, ready to take orders. We each ordered a plate of 4 sushi's and I ate with Jake, conversing about life and our stay here.

"This is delicious! I haven't had sushi in a while." I said.

"Really. I love sushi so much." He continued eating, so did I.

"That's good." I said.

"Are you upset about something Jane?" He asked me.

"I just.. can't wait to spend the next couple days with you." I grasped his hand. But it was more than that. I really couldn't stand the fact that when it's time for us to leave Florida and head back to Los Angeles, we're going to have to face Jessica at school again; well I will have to face her.

"Me too." He brushed it off.

"But," I started. "I hate that we'll have to leave and go back to Jessica." I rolled my eyes trying not to cry. I went through so much trouble with her, terrifying trouble, that the thought of seeing her makes me upset. Who knows what she'll do to me.

"Babe, don't worry about that." He said. "You've got me." He kissed my hand.

"I know Jake, but you can't body guard me at school every 5 seconds." I spoke.

"Jane I will do whatever it takes." He pulled my hair back.

"Thank you." I said.
