Manha's apartment.
10:58 am.

Manha's eyes moved to the mirror as she swallowed staring at her reflection.

Her eyes looked hollow and tired, they were still swollen a bit from all the crying. Her face was scrubbed and hair shampooed, she felt fresh but it was the complete opposite inside. She felt drained out to no limits. There was this empty feeling which was eating at her heart slowly like a disease.

Sucking in a deep breath she put the hair out of her face from a jaw clip and pulled the sleeves of her hoodie down.

She could smell the eggs and coffee being brewed outside and she knew they were all already present there.

Nisa had left early morning. Manha had been awake when Nisa woke up and prayed Fajar. She had felt her sit beside her and blow verses over her head and then she simply kissed her hand and told her she was leaving.

Manha had thanked her through her hoarse voice before she had drifted off to sleep.

She took a step towards the door and held the knob shutting her eyes. She didn't know how to face them, what to say and what not. She wished that she could just hibernate somewhere alone but she knew they were all worried and they were all there for her.

Twisting the knob she walked out keeping her eyes on her fur slippers and felt the conversations hushing down with her arrival.

She looked up biting her inner cheek and found Daniyal on the barstool while Farah and Alizey were on the dining table and Fahad on the couch who shut his laptop.

Daniyal was the first one to get up and walk to her. Manha wanted to turn and run back to her room but he had already wrapped his arms around her shoulders pulling her in a hug.

She inhaled deeply feeling his aquatic and citrusy smell fill her senses and she felt her eyes burn once again as her hand clutched his shirt at his sides.

"Are you okay now?" He whispered into her ear as he rubbed his thumb slightly between her shoulder blades.

"I am fine," she pulled back swallowing.

She felt him staring at her face from her hairline to her chin before he nodded and pulled his arm off. She tugged a strand of hair behind her ear before Alizey held her arm and pulled her to herself.

Manha chuckled slightly tightening her arms around her best friend's waist.

"I am fine Alizey, no need to go all hulk lady," Manha pinched her cheeks who rolled her eyes.

"I hate that second best friend of yours, she has too much attitude and she likes to brag how she is your favorite,"

"Well... that she is so," Manha shrugged turning to Farah who kissed her cheek with a loud noise.

"My baby. I have gotten your breakfast prepared. Eat and get ready for work," Manha smiled at her nodding.

"Don't come near me, please. I don't deal well with these emotions," Fahad held his palm up and Manha scrunched her nose dropping herself beside him, and threw her arms around his neck kissing his cheek.

"You are my favorite," she pulled back chuckling at his disgusted face.

She heard a loud bark and her eyes widened turning to the terrace as Farah slid the glass doors open.

"My baby!" Manha was about to get up but Ben had already jumped over her licking her ear.

She laughed out loud trying to hold his front paws but he had stuck his nail into the neckline of her shirt.

"Calm down, Ben!" She had to say strictly and he moved back on the couch with his tongue hanging out of his mouth and eyes shining.

"Aw, how are you so cute?!" She pulled him into her lap again ruffling his hair.

"Can you eat now if you are done?" Daniyal's irritated voice came from the kitchen making Manha raise her brows.

"Oh Dani, grow up. He is just a dog you don't have to be jealous!" Farah laughed making him roll his eyes.

"I am not jealous. I have to go to the agency and she is going with me,"

"Am I?" Manha asked getting up and put Ben on the couch beside Fahad before walking to the rack and tossed Ben's stuffed toy towards Daniyal's feet.

She bit her lip seeing Ben bark and run towards him.

Daniyal's eyes widened as he shot up from his place and ran behind Alizey who bent over with laughter.

"For fuck's sake!" She wheezed as Daniyal wrapped his hands around her neck.

"Shut up, okay? Dogs are disgusting," he gagged making Manha frown.

"They are not," she smacked his arm walking past him to the kitchen, and put a toasted bread on her plate.

Alizey jabbed her elbow in his ribs and moved away.

"And why do we have to go to the agency?" She asked putting the pod into the coffee machine and pressed the button.

"Hamna called and said to drag you there by your hair if you denied," he shrugged seeing Ben moving towards the kitchen while playing with his stuffed toy.

Manha picked her cup and walked to the dining table.

"I am going." Fahad stood up putting his laptop in the bag.

"Wait. You are going to drop me too," Farah gulped down her leftover tea and picked her phone and bag.

"And what will I do being stuck between them?" Alizey questioned.

"Who is asking you to stay in the first place," Daniyal rolled his eyes.

"Dick!" Alizey cursed getting up and dumped her dishes into the sink.

"I am going home Manha and I will pick you up tomorrow. We have to go to the salon,"

"Hm, okay," Manha murmured with her mouth filled.

"Have a great time you both." She added with a smirk before following the other two out and it was only Manha, Daniyal, and Ben after that.

"So?" Manha looked up as he settled on the chair in front of her.

"So?" She repeated putting a piece of bread and eggs in her mouth and relished the cheese and mushroom's fusion.

"What about us?" She sipped her coffee as he looked at her face.

"What about us?"

"Manha," he clicked this tongue glancing at Ben who had sat at the corner licking his paws.

"What Manha?"

"Okay. What is going to happen to us now? When you know that it was not my fault and when you know that I love you," she felt a familiar heat rush to the tip of her ears as she bought herself time and put the last piece of bread into her mouth chewing on it slowly.

"I don't know. What do you want to do?" She ran her tongue in her mouth before taking a sip of her coffee.

"I am asking you the same question," he threw his arms in the air with a groan making her bite her inner cheek.

"I haven't thought about it Daniyal. Let it just as it is right now. I don't want to ruin the wedding for me and everyone." She sighed walking to the sink and pulled on the gloves.

He followed her but Manha held her hand up.

"They has latex, stay away," she warned waving her gloved fingers.

"Bitch," he scrunched his nose before pulling her cheek and walked back to the lounge.

"Ow! Idiot," she frowned.

"I am going to take a shower and I want you ready by then."

"So what has come up that you want me here like anything," Manha dropped herself on the chair in front of Kamran's table.

"A new project," he turned to look at her.

"I told you I can not take one right now," she shrugged picking a biscuit, and took a bite.

"But this one is good money."

"Okay but how is it related to both of us being here," she wiggled her brows glancing at Daniyal who was busy on his phone.

Hamna sighed from the other corner and stood up walking over.

"Stupid woman. It's a designer shoot for both of you,"

"No thanks," Manha rolled her eyes.

"Why not?"

"I am not doing anything with him,"

"What did I do now?" Daniyal frowned at her.

"What have you not done?" She narrowed her eyes.

"Shut up. We are so doing this,"

"People are going to have a stroke with the number of times you are showing up since the start of the year," Hamna chuckled at him.

"Let them."

"I told you guys I am on a break right now and we are leaving for the wedding this weekend," she put her palms on the sides of the chair ready to stand up.

"The shoot is on Thursday,"

"So you have already signed me up." Manha arched her brow making Hamna turn to Kamran.

"He asked me to,"

"Of course. You guys just need your stupid money and make Manha work like shit!" She threw her arms in the air.

"So? We need our profit too. C'mon now. She will send you all the details. You guys are rocking the screens already," Kamran dismissed them pulling the screen of his laptop open and Hamna stood up holding the door open.

"I think I declined," she stared at his face with a blank look in her eyes.

"Manha-"

"I am not being bribed into this." Manha sighed mentally rolling her eyes and got up to leave. She could not sit and listen to him going on about how much he needed that money. He had a lot of other women in his agency he could make them work too, Manha was tired of carrying the guilt of denying. She was done with all the unfairness of life. She was tired and done with all the unfair people she had surrounded herself with. She was going to say a freaking no to the project because she did not want to do it.

"I am sorry but I already told you I am on a break," she still apologized and walked out of the room as Daniyal followed her out.

"You knew about it too." She started seeing him put his phone back in his pocket.

"I knew but they had set me up for it just like you," he shrugged getting into the elevators.

"I am going to the office. Get your own ride," she pulled out the car keys from her bag.

"Do you really have to go there?" He held her elbow gently making her press her lips.

"I am going to talk to Abu today." She bit her tongue in her mouth.

"Can I do anything for you?" A soft look took over his eyes making her lips form in a small smile.

"No. Just go and do your work. I am fine." She held his fingers from her elbow and pressed them softly before letting go.

He pulled his hand back to his side and nodded giving her an appreciative smile.

"Okay, I am here if you need me." She crossed the road and got into her car, a smile intact on her lips.

MDS don't dim my glow, I worked for this shit

>>>>

A sigh left her mouth as Manha flipped the last page of the fifth file before shutting it.

"Komal," she called her assistant who looked up from her phone.

"I am done with these and set up my meeting with Fahad,"

"How is Friday?"

"Yes okay." Manha stood up picking her bag and walked out patting the hair on her head which was pulled in a ponytail.

Pausing in her steps, she bit her inner cheek for some time before her eyes fell over her grandfather's assistant.

"Hey, Noman?" The guy turned to look at her from where he was talking to a girl.

"Yes ma'am," he walked over.

"Is Abu free?" She pressed her lips.

"He is going to leave in five minutes," he looked down at his watch.

"Perfect. I will go with him," she passed him a small smile before making her way to her grandfather's office and knocked twice.

"Come in," she twisted the knob opening the door spotting her grandfather with another man whose back was towards her.

"I heard you are about to leave-" she paused finding the other man to be Raheel's father.

"Manha," he acknowledged her.

"Uncle, how are you?" She moistened her lips.

"Very well. Where have you been?"

"Just some work." She sat down on the chair beside him.

"We were just discussing your engagement invitations. Your father is an idiot, he put it on such short notice," her grandfather shook his head standing up.

She blinked at him in disbelief.

"But-" she cut herself off seeing the other man stand up as well.

"Yes yes. Everything is going to happen with your choice, don't worry," her grandfather patted her head with a chuckle.

"This reminds me, you should go ring shopping with Raheel today. I will give him a call,"

"He can pick her up from here, what do you say?" Her grandfather asked fixing the cuff of his sleeves.

"I want to go with you for now," she took a deep breath.

"Okay, okay. Don't stress up. You can ask Raheel to pick her up from the house," her grandfather put his hand on her back speaking to his friend who nodded.

"I will,"

They started walking out and Manha tried to calm her wildly beating heart.

"You can ask Farah to help you with these matters. You seem a little stressed. I asked your father to put the event next week but you have to leave for your friend's wedding."

"I want to talk to you about something important," she held his arm slightly as they walked out of the elevators.

"I am listening," he looked at her before turning to his friend.

"See you, Anwar," they both shook hands and parted their ways.

"Let's get home first," she muttered getting into the car beside him.

"Noman please get my car home,"

"Okay ma'am," he nodded before bidding them bye and the car got onto the road.

"Everything okay?" Her grandfather asked.

She was about to nod but then shook her head.

"Nothing is okay." She turned to face him who looked at her worried.

"What happened?" She sighed looking out. They were in their street already.

"I will tell you everything but just listen to me please," she held his hand for support. He squeezed her hand in return bringing her head closer and pressed a kiss at her temple.

She closed her eyes putting her head on his shoulder till they drove into the driveway and out of the car.

She swallowed as they walked past the foyer.

"In my study?" He asked making her nod and follow him up.

Suddenly she wanted to not tell him. She knew he was having several health issues and she knew he will blame himself for not knowing about it earlier but she had to tell him. She could not afford to stay silent anymore.

Sitting on the couch, she saw him removing his coat as Salma bought both of them coffee with some snacks.

"Send Fahad when he comes home," Salma nodded walking out and Manha saw him raising his brows at her.

"Tell me now,"

"I don't want to marry Raheel," she took a deep breath looking at the steam swirling over the cup.

"Why?" He frowned putting his cup down and sit up from his leaned position.

"Look, Abu. Dad never asked my concern in all this. He kept doing things on his own. I even told Raheel that I can not marry him, Raheel told dad too but he-" she gulped looking at her grandfather who was listening to her with all his attention, "he said to him that I am only nervous and to not pay any heed to me," she picked her coffee and took a sip not looking up onto his face.

"He told me you both like each other." Her grandfather was staring at the table, the coffee cup still in his hand.

"No." She shook her head instantly.

"I have never even met Raheel before Fahad's wedding and he has been talking about us since then," Manha sighed taking another sip.

"But why did he lie to us?" He looked at her with a frown.

Manha ran a tongue over her lips before they both heard a knock and Fahad walked in.

"What's going on here?" He looked between them with a cup of his own and settled beside their grandfather.

"You could have come to me if he was forcing you." He said ignoring Fahad and Manha shook her head.

"I couldn't. He threatened me saying if I go against him, he will do this and that," she didn't know what words to use and how to say.

"Abu," Fahad gained his attention with a sigh, "did you know he used to beat Manha before we went to London," her grandfather frowned.

"What are you talking about?"

Fahad told him everything without dwelling too much into the details but enough for her grandfather to lean back holding his head.

"How was I so unaware of things happening inside this house?" He didn't even look up from the table.

"He even locked you up a week back?" He turned to her in disbelief. Manha took a deep breath nodding.

"But the topic is not that right now. I want you to call this engagement off. I can't do this." She was about to pick her bag when the door opened and her father walked in with Fahad's father.

Great!

She wanted to throw her arms in the air but only ran a tongue over her lips watching her grandfather.

"You guys are having a party without us?" Fahad's father said taking a seat beside Manha but they all remained silent.

She watched her father look between his father and her with a frown as he took a seat on the single couch.

"What happened to you?" He asked his father whose face snapped to him.

"Manha told me everything about what you did," she saw her father raising his brows before leaning back with a slight shrug.

"And?"

She saw her grandfather's brows furrowing deeper.

"And? You have no shame in the world for what you did?"

"She is my daughter and this is our personal matter. I will see it myself," he leaned ahead fixing Manha with a hard gaze. She only stared ahead.

"She is my granddaughter too! And how can you call her your daughter? What father does this to his own child?!" Her grandfather stood up.

"I was just teaching her a few lessons whenever she loses track. I did what was needed to be done to keep her in control,"

"Lessons? Control? Is this how lessons are delivered to a child? By beating them and locking them up? And what control are you talking about? She is a human, not your business you can have all the power and control over,"

"Abu, you are being too emotional right now. Calm down and we-"

"Shut up!" She had never seen her grandfather angry like that. His eyes were turning red and she could see him fisting his hands.

She kept her eyes on the ground as the room went into pin-drop silence.

"This is all my fault! I should have been the one to overlook her myself and not leave her in her so-called father's hands!"

"Abu, please," she walked over to him but he shook his head.

"Mera dil kar raha hai ke mein bhi isey us tarah marun jese is ne tumhein mara hai magar bay-bas hun,"

(I want to beat him just like he had beaten you but I am helpless)

Her grandfather shook his head with shame and guilt.

"Why are you paying heed to her? She likes to drag-" Manha's face snapped to her right where her father was.

"Get lost! Dafa hojao is waqt mere samne se!" Her grandfather pointed to the door and her father shot her a clenched jaw with angry eyes before walking out.

"Please sit down. Don't stress yourself," she held his arm seeing his breaths heavy and puffy.

"I am sorry mera bacha, I did not make myself trust worthy for you," he looked at her and Manha shook her head.

"It's not your fault please," he sighed before standing up.

"I want to rest for some time," he walked out making her rub her temple.

She followed him out and didn't even remember how she had walked to the room and threw herself on the bed before falling asleep.

Several clicks of dishes welcomed Manha as she made her way down the stairs looking around.

Salma was getting the dinner table set so she made her way to the living area finding her grandfather on a call.

Sitting down she let out a yawn going through some of her messages. She had a make-up call in a few hours for the night shoot.

"Ma'am, dinner is served," a servant announced making her glance at her grandfather who gestured her to walk ahead.

Manha sat down putting some rice on her plate before her grandfather, uncle and Fahad also settled around.

"Where is Farah?"

"She is at her mother's,"

"And.. dad?" Her eyes switched to Salma questioningly who looked at her grandfather.

"I have asked her to not invite him," Manha took a sip of her water as a sudden quiet took over.

"Plus he is getting his things packed," her uncle said making her frown.

"Why?"

"He is leaving for his farmhouse for a few days," Manha glanced at Fahad who was busy with his food.

She rubbed her toe over the other out of nervousness. She was scared that he would get too angry at all this and would definitely try to punish her in one of his twisted ways.

"But Abu-"

"You don't have to be scared of anyone Manha." Her grandfather looked directly at her.

"He has to pay for whatever he did. I won't let it go this easily," she shut her eyes taking a deep breath.

At least everyone would know where to find her if she gets missing, they would know who to blame and who to go to.

But she was tired of this. She did not want another circle of anger and punishments. She wanted to end it right there.

Manha paused her chewing for a moment when her eyes fell over her father. A butler carrying his bags behind him.

Her grandfather glanced at him with a hateful look before shaking his head.

"Aslam! Get the guard on, I am coming." He told the butler who nodded.

"No. You are not allowed to take anyone from my house." Her grandfather leaned back wiping his hands from the napkin. Manha controlled her widening eyes.

"This is my house as well," her father held the back of the chair where he used to sit.

"Don't sit here," her father raised his brows.

"Get out of my house this instance without any of my appointed guards," she saw her grandfather drinking his water as Salma put his medicines ahead.

"Fine." Her father cleared his throat fixing the lapels of his coat.

He rubbed his jaw slightly turning to look at Manha who was looking at him already.

"We will see how long does your pity drama works," she tore her eyes away from him who walked out.

She exhaled the breath she was holding before pushing her plate slightly and leaned back.

"Sir, Anwar Sahab is here with his son," the butler walked back in.

Manha's eyes snapped to her grandfather who nodded calmly.

"Yes let him come," he stood up.

"Manha, come with me when you are done with your dinner," he walked to the drawing-room making her drop her head in her palms.

"I did not want this when I told him all that!" She groaned turning to Fahad who was playing with his food silently.

"Now get up and go," she took a frustrated breath and got up following her grandfather.

She swallowed taking a seat at the single couch. Raheel was across from her with his father.

"What happened Dawood Sahab? You called us urgently,"

"Yes, I wanted to talk to Raheel." Her grandfather turned to him who straightened nodding.

"Yes, uncle?" Raheel glanced at Manha before looking at her grandfather.

"Did Manha tell you about not wanting to marry you?" She could see the slight surprise on his face.

"Uh," he hesitated for a while before nodding. His eyes turned down, "Yes she did." She saw his father's head turn to him with a frown.

"Manha declined this proposal?"

"She did,"

"But why?" Manha bit the inside of her cheek before taking a deep breath.

"Because I could not marry him and because I did not want to marry him."

"Why didn't you tell us Raheel?" He turned to his own son.

"Suleman uncle asked me to not tell anyone. He said she is just stressed and must have said that in the heat of the moment," he replied slightly irritated.

"And you believed him?" Her grandfather arched his brow.

"I-" he sighed before shrugging, "I liked her and I wanted to marry her. I believed him at that time," Manha gritted her teeth in slight anger.

"I am more disappointed in you than my own son Raheel," her grandfather shook his head.

"But why did Suleman did it?"

"That is another story but I am calling this proposal off. No one is going to talk about this again. Am I understood?" Anwar Ibrahim opened his mouth but closed it with a nod of his head but Raheel was staring at the table in front of him silently.

"Am I clear Raheel?" He repeated.

Raheel glanced at her before turning to him and nodded as well. He got up and walked out making Manha roll her eyes mentally.

"I have some work," she excused herself letting out a sigh.

Finally, she was free of one burden.

• • •

"My baby is asleep?" Manha spoke seeing Ben curled up on the corner of the couch.

Chuckling to herself, she made her way ahead stretching her arms.

She had gone to pick her dresses for the wedding and had dropped by the agency for some work before driving back home and started packing.

And it was already late afternoon now that she got hungry.

Her eyes did a quick check-up for something to eat in the refrigerator but it was just some smelling pesto paste and a few apples Farah always put inside.

Shaking her head, Manha was about to check the cabinets when the click from the door made her turn around to find Daniyal walking in with a box of pizza.

Her brows shot up as her hands came to rest on the sides of her waist.

"Hello?" She called seeing him look around.

"Oh, hey!" He grinned finding her in the kitchen in her bunny pajamas again with a messy bun and mickey mouse flip-flops.

"What are you doing here?" Manha asked walking to the counter as he put the box down and rounded the counter.

"I had to leave the hotel," he pouted pouring some apple juice in a glass.

"And where would you go now?" Manha asked already picking a slice from the large warm pizza.

"Um, here?"

"And why would I let you?" He rubbed the back of his neck.

"Because I bought you food?" Manha shook her head.

"I didn't ask you to."

"But you were hungry." He shrugged putting his glass in the sink and washed his hands.

"You need to work a little harder," she told him with a mouthful while leaning ahead on the counter on her elbows.

Daniyal smirked seeing her pick the fallen olive and walked over.

Manha froze for a moment finding the smug look on him and straightened instantly.

"No. Don't you dare come near me." She warned raising her pointer finger.

"But you just said I need to work harder," he raised his arms a few steps away from her.

"Okay not like this. I swear don't come near me,"

"You can't be smelling that bad now," he rolled his eyes pulling the pizza box towards himself.

"Shut up."

"What do I have to do then?" He asked taking a bite of his slice.

"Fuck!" Manha's eyes widened slightly and his grin widened.

"But that can't be done without coming near you," he jutted his lower lip out innocently while wiping his hands from the napkin.

"Oh no, not that. I was not supposed to eat cheese and you bought me this! Ugh, I am going to kill you Daniyal!" Manha glared at him pointing to the pizza while Daniyal opened his mouth in disbelief.

"Excuse me, madam? How is it my fault?"

"Why did you bring me a pizza? Because you don't want me to fit into the clothes, asshole!" Manha wiped her hands angrily.

"You are not making any sense so shut up! Plus.." he rolled his eyes before his lips twitched up once again as if a reflex action, "I can help burn those calories," he suggested making Manha narrow her eyes.

"Don't you have any other work in the world except this vulgarity? Go and eat someone else's brain. I am not free," Manha walked to her room.

"Okay sorry, but I checked out of my hotel and bought my stuff here!" He called picking up the last slice.

"What the hell, why?" She appeared in the doorframe again, frowning.

"Where else would I go except this place?"

"This is mine and I am not willing to share it with you. Keep your stinky ass out of here please," she trailed back inside throwing another white t-shirt into the opened suitcase.

"Yar please. Look I am homeless," he walked into the room looking around.

"I don't give a duck. I am not keeping you here. What will everyone say!" She folded a kameez and put it back into the plastic bag and set it over the pile in the suitcase.

"I don't even need a duck and I don't care what people say." He mumbled busily making her glance behind her shoulder.

Daniyal was sitting on her vanity table with her phone in his hand.

"Hey!" Manha reached ahead and tried snatching it from her hands.

"Wait. What is this? My picture!" He raised his brows with a teasing smile. Manha knew it was a lie.

"How dare you pick my phone Daniyal! Give it to me right now," Manha clenched her jaw pulling her phone out of his hands.

"I was not messaging your boyfriend that you are being so scared," he rolled his eyes.

"Stay within your limits." Manha threw an angry glare his way and made her way back to her bag.

There was silence for a while before she felt him coming to stand beside her.

"Suno," he picked one of her kameez from the bed imitating her actions, and started folding it.

"Kya masla hai ab!" Manha sighed deeply making space for a bag filled with clutches inside.

"What happened that day? You talked to your grandfather?" She bit her inner lip glancing at him before exhaling audibly and sat down on the bed.

"I did. He got very angry at dad and even asked him to go to his farmhouse till his anger cools off. Dad looked so angry," she pressed her lips looking at the rug blankly.

Daniyal sat beside her instantly.

"How do you feel about it?" He asked looking at the side of her face.

"I don't know," Manha dropped her shoulders tugging her hair back from her face, "I don't feel anything at all. Not any satisfaction nor any sadness. My mind is just blank whenever I think about it." She told him the truth. She was confused about what she should even feel. She did not get that happy and bitchy feeling nor was she sad over her grandfather's reaction. It was just pure blankness.

He nodded before balling the kameez in his hands and was about to toss it to the corner when his eyes fell over Manha whose eyes were widened.

"You bastard! I just got them ironed!" Manha snatched it from him seeing the cotton shirt all wrinkled.

"Oops!" He smiled cheekily before getting up.

"I have some work. The guard is taking my stuff upstairs and I will be back late. Don't wait for me. Bye." He pressed his lips at her cheek before he was gone.

Manha opened her mouth tilting her face slightly before a small smile broke out on her lips.

"Crazy."

How many times had she fantasized about those little moments? For them to be with each other normal like that.

What were they? Two people having the most intense feeling for each other, have been in sexual intercourse but they had never acknowledged their status. They have always gone with the flow but it was unacceptable for her now.

They had done that seven years back, they have known each other's feelings but never knew what to do with it and they were doing it again. She didn't know what was so hard for her to sit down and talk about what she wanted to do next.

Was life always going to be this messed up?

She had to choose for it to not be. She knew she will have to take the step. She had told him to not talk about it a few days back but it was unfair. They had to talk and she had to tell him the most heart-wrenching truth of the deed done seven years back. She had the idea of how heartbroken he was going to get and that was the most terrifying thing ever. Sad Daniyal was not something Manha preferred and never even will in her life.
