MDS sunday cuddles 💓

>>>>

Karachi, Pakistan.
06:55 am.

Manha drew the curtains apart seeing the dawn broken out on the skyline of Karachi, a few white clouds scattered around.

Her terrace was lit with the blue light of the sky as leaves rustled with the subtle morning breeze of the plants lined around the walls.

She let out a sigh, smiling a little, and turned around loosening the dupatta around her head.

She was just done praying fajr and got onto waking her husband now which seemed close to impossible because he wasn't being able to sleep all night and would keep shaking her to keep awake with him as well.

Dropping herself on the bed behind him, her eyes fell over Ben right beside the bedside curled on his mattress.

Manha smiled before leaning ahead and put her chin on his arm shaking his head a little.

"Hey, good morning," she spoke seeing a frown take over his forehead before he started to fall asleep again.

"Wake up. You said we will go out to cycle today," she shook him again seeing him turn to face her with his closed eyes.

"I am not going to talk to you," he turned back to snuggle with his pillow. Manha pressed her lips.

"Okay sorry. C'mon Daniyal don't be a douchebag," she leaned her back on his picking her phone.

"I am being a douchebag? Couldn't you just let go of your sleep for me?" He grumbled making her roll her eyes.

"Can't you give up on your sleep for me now?"

"No." She sighed closing her eyes and threw her phone at the side.

"Okay, what do I do then to make up to your Highness?" She ruffled his hair.

"Don't bug me for going out,"

Her eyes narrowed at that.

"You always do this. Lazy ass! Get lost and don't come to me ever again!"

She got up walking out to the kitchen. She was already dressed in black tights and a loose t-shirt because she was really in the mood for cycling but he always ruin their plans.

Litting the stove, Manha pushed her slightly wet hair back from her shoulders looking around and pondering over what to make for breakfast.

She picked out some chicken deciding to make simple chicken sandwich rather than sweet pancakes or the usual eggs.

Manha was onto cutting the chicken when she heard Ben's bark and her husband strolling out of the room in dark blue sweatpants and a black hoodie. His eyes looked still filled with sleep.

"Drama queen," he mumbled picking a carton of apple juice and poured some directly in his mouth.

"Excuse me?" Manha narrowed her eyes.

"Get lost and don't come to me ever again!" He mimicked and she ignored putting the chicken into a bowl when he walked over hiding his smile and sneaked his arms around her midriff.

"Go away," she pushed at his chest with her elbow but he tightened his hold around her.

"Nope."

"Daniyal go. I don't even want to see your face," she lined her lips feeling him put his stubbled chin on the curve of her neck. It felt ticklish.

"Okay fine. Don't see my handsome face but at least don't be mad," he pressed his lips at her shoulder with a sigh.

"Ladies give warm snuggles, some early morning sex, or cuddles to their husbands but here is my wife. Kya ajeeb si cycling ka shauk char gaya hai tumhe," he complained.

"Yes. All because you are one lazy hag. Aur jab mujhe cuddles, and snuggles deni hoti hain to apka sara mood sirf nashte pe hota hai. Aur nahi arahi itni pasand biwi to jao, le ao dusri. These complaints are not getting any less anyway. Jab ayegi dusri to pata chalegi meri ehmiyat,"

Manha grumbled in a mimicking tone making Daniyal grin behind her.

"Lekin tumhara jaisa piece dunya mein ek hi hai. Tum jesi to kahin nahi milegi," he teased dropping his hands down to her waist and lifted her shirt.

"I will kill you," Manha stepped away getting out of his arms making him smile cheekily as he ruffled his hair.

"Okay fine. Hulk woman. We will go out." He turned the stove off.

"I don't want to go anywhere now. Sara mood khatam hogaya mera, thanks to you."

"C'mon Manha, don't be a douchebag," he held her hand just as she was done washing it and dragged her out.

"Hey wait!" She hissed making him turn around.

"I am not wearing my shoes," she rolled her eyes walking to the room, and came out with her hair pulled in a sleek ponytail, a puff jacket, a pea cap over her head, and a headband over her forehead.

"Let's go now?" She smiled cheekily grabbing their bottles and Daniyal chuckled throwing his arm around her shoulder as they walked out.

The sun loomed low above the horizon throwing its golden warmth over the city.

The particular Sunday of early December held an air of stillness to it. There was silence around except for the chirping of the birds.

Manha and Daniyal were the only ones found cycling their way ahead. It was a different route than their usual.

"Hey, we can talk you know? It's not a rule to stay silent," Daniyal called as she slowed down a little.

"I know." Manha shrugged. She was too busy taking in the fresh air and relaxing.

Daniyal shook his head at her as they continued moving.

"Did you ever imagine this?"

"Imagine what?" He frowned at her query.

"Having this normal life together,"

"Honestly. No." He pressed his lips.

"I didn't too. I was so hopeless when it came to you. I was like literally trying to hate you."

"That didn't sound very romantic," he grumbled.

"It's the truth. Life was always so normal with you. I had started to find that constant and stability with you and then you left. Out of nowhere." She smiled a little at how far all that seem now.

"It was all so weird, sad, and just confusing. Life was going normal and turned into a rollercoaster out of the blue. Things started to get shit and we were suddenly thrown deep into adulthood, and left to deal with it on our own." He said, staring ahead in the long street.

"It had been really painful. Even after you came back. Things were out of our hands and we were trying to pull all the strings of life together. The past, present, future. There were strings we needed to cut and strings we needed to hold on to be able to move on and we had to make a wise decision without any lead or guide." She swallowed. They both had slowed down a little.

"I had a person trying to snatch those strings and control my life. I had to give all of me to not let him do that. My father shouldn't have been able to pull the strings according to him. He did and we both got messed up along with the people around us, their lives got upside down all because of one wrong tug."

"But we have gained the control back. We have gotten all the authority of our lives back. We have cut off the strings that were no longer needed, that were adding to the baggage only. And we have held on tighter on the ones we needed to keep close." She smiled and there was peace in her. The storms and hurricanes have left her alone. There were mild complications that still try to come over but she has gotten the upper hand over those. They could not lead her life anymore. She will be the one to lead them.

"Okay, we have gotten in too deep." Daniyal pulled a brake coming to a stop as the building came in view.

Manha chuckled stopping beside him.

"How about you carry on upstairs and I join you in a few?" He asked leaning ahead to peck her lips as she got off the cycle.

"Okay," Manha mumbled putting on the lock and picked her bottle taking the elevator.

MDS ♥️♥️♥️

Manha looked up at the sound of the door closing and smiled at Daniyal who walked in with a bouquet in his hands.

"For the most beautiful wife in the world," he held them out and Manha wiped her hands from the kitchen towel before stepping ahead and held the flowers wrapping her other arm around his neck who put his hands on her waist.

"Thank you. They are so beautiful," she grinned pulling back but he squeezed her ass making Manha shoot him a glare. He grinned leaning ahead and kissed her lips.

"I love you, my sweet sweet lady," she chuckled putting the flowers down.

"Aren't you too cheery after the early morning exercise?" She asked seeing him come back after refreshing.

"I am." He shrugged putting the sandwiches on the table. Manha sat down with the coffee cups as he settled beside her chair facing her.

"I want to eat from your hands," Manha rolled her eyes holding out the sandwich as he took a bite.

"What are our plans for the day by the way?"

"I don't have anything big in mind, to be honest. We can just lay in the bed and chill all day," she shrugged taking a sip of her coffee.

"Yay, thank god you don't want a surprise cruise party from me on our anniversary. Like c'mon dude who does that anymore," he rolled his eyes and Manha shook her head.

"Everyone does but you are one lazy hag. It's okay though I am not even in a mood to entertain people right now. Just want to cuddle with my bear and sleep," she pinched his cheek.

Two hours later they were both sprawled on the couch wrapped in the blanket as a random movie played on the screen.

"I think we have already started growing up. We are the boring adults now," she raised her head from his chest to look at his face who chuckled putting his hand on her back.

"We should actually do something and not waste such a beautiful day," Daniyal said making her turn to him with raised brows.

"I can't believe you are the one saying this," she chuckled.

"I can't believe myself but anyone of us has to be a little less boring." He kissed her head with a smile and she snuggled her face more into his neck.

"How can I not love you ever?"

"And why wouldn't you love me?" He narrowed his eyes making her roll hers as she put her hands under his jaw, on his neck, and kissed his mouth.

He smiled raising his head to kiss her deeper when they both heard the click of the door and Manha groaned dropping her head back on his chest who chuckled.

"Get dressed hurriedly!" Alizey shouted.

"C'mon guys get a room to do your funny business please!" Faizan groaned turning around and Manha rolled her eyes rolling down the couch and sat on the floor pulling her hair in a high ponytail.

"We are decent," Manha called seeing them still turned around.

"Cool." Alizey walked inside and Manha stood up giving her a hug who passed her flowers.

"Happy anniversary you both!" She grinned seeing Daniyal sit up with a yawn.

"Seriously guys, leave us alone for one day at least!" He ruffled his hair making Manha smack his shoulder before walking to the door seeing it still open.

"Oh my god, what is this now?" She said looking at a huge carton sealed with a ribbon.

"Our gift!" Bilal and Faizan cheered together as Daniyal rushed to see as well.

She held the ribbon when Alizey held her hand.

"No, no. Not now," she dragged her back.

"At least put it inside," Manha clicked her tongue.

"It's too heavy," Faizan mumbled.

"How did you guys bring it up here then?" Daniyal said still inspecting the box.

"Leave that. Tell me what have you guys planned for today?"

Manha turned to Daniyal who shrugged.

"We wanted to just stay in the house and sleep our asses off," he shrugged dropping himself on the couch.

"Really Manha?" Alizey looked at her in disbelief.

"Okay then. Let me tell you guys what we are doing. We are going to the beach for sunset and hey, we still have time to book a cruise trip. It will be fun!" Manha glanced at her husband sitting beside him as they both laughed out loud.

"No, please. We already declined that idea," Daniyal put his arm around her shoulder as Manha leaned her head on him.

"Okay, not a cruise but we are going to the beach and that's it. Fahad and Farah would be here in a minute or two, we will open your gift. Don't worry we will leave the night to yourselves to do whatever you want,"

"Thank you so much Alizey!" Daniyal said sarcastically making her walk over and smack his head.

Manha wrapped her arms around his neck from the side with a smile.

"It wouldn't be that boring now," he mumbled into her ear.

"Okay."

Fahad and Farah came over after a while and Daniyal and Manha rushed towards the gift box.

"Okay, open the ribbon now." Alizey clapped her hands pointing the camera towards them.

Manha glanced at him before stepping ahead and pulled open the bow at the top as Daniyal pulled the lid off and they both stepped away startled as Huzaifa jumped out with a party horn in his mouth.

Manha put her hand on her chest closing her mouth.

"Oh my God!" She breathed out making everyone laugh around.

"I didn't know you would love me as your gift this much," Huzaifa said in awe making Daniyal roll his eyes as he walked back inside bored.

Manha stepped ahead and fisted his hair as he winced.

"You idiot! I could have died there out of shock!" She huffed storming inside the house.

"Aw, it's okay babe. I know you loved the surprise!" He called with a chuckle.

"They are so stupid!" Manha rolled her eyes sitting beside her husband.

"Okay, what about the real gift now?"

"We don't want it, you can keep it to yourselves!" Daniyal called shaking his head.

"Can you give her to me? She is so beautiful," Manha pouted seeing Faryal jump in her father's arms.

"Here," he handed her to her phupo and walked back to the beach house.

Manha tickled Faryal making her giggle out loud.

"My baby, piece of my heart," she kissed her cheek before Faryal started to wriggle in her arms wanting to be let down on the sand.

"Uh no. Your mama would kill both of us," Manha shook her head.

"What happened? Why are you keeping my princess away from the water?" Daniyal walked over pinching Faryal's cheek who instantly held her arms out to him.

"Hey, no. I want to hold you," Manha turned her back to him but Daniyal pulled Faryal out of her arms.

"But princess wants to come to me," he raised her in the air who giggled happily before he made her sit on his shoulder.

"Let's go?" He turned to his wife who was busy pouting before she held his arm and they walked ahead to the shore.

"Daniyal, be careful!" The protective mama of the baby shouted from somewhere and Manha chuckled.

"Hey, Fari you are my favorite in this whole group, you know that?" Daniyal tilted his head to look at the baby who fisted his nose.

"Ow! Your nails are deadly," he winced.

"Deadlier than mine now, han?" Manha chuckled standing in front of him with her back to the sea.

"No babe, there's no competition for yours," he leaned ahead and pecked her nose.

Manha shook her head turning to look ahead again and leaned her back on his chest who was busy talking to Faryal in her language.

Her hair was blowing all the way as she slipped the sunglasses over her eyes and took a deep breath of the fresh ocean breeze.

He dropped a kiss at the back of her head and Manha smiled to herself feeling love and happiness fill every part of her heart.

MDS here's to chasing all the sunsets of my life with you, my hero 🌅✨

>>>>

"I am too tired to continue this," Manha mumbled fisting his hair as he kissed the side of her neck sucking and biting.

"I know right," he chuckled over her skin and pulled back to look at her face before moving the hair out of her eyes.

"Let's lay in the terrace, the weather is so nice out there," Manha suggested raising her brows and Daniyal scrunched his nose before pecking her lips and rolled off her.

Manha picked his black hoodie putting it on and pulled the hood over her head before crawling out of the bed and followed him out.

"Hey, there's some ice cream left, you want some?" Manha called seeing him spread the mattress.

"Yes please," she smiled picking the tub from the freezer and a spoon before walking out wrapped into a soft quilt, and sat down beside him.

"Come here," he held the blanket making her settle into his lap as he covered both of them with the blanket and moved her hair to the left shoulder before putting his chin on the right one and his arms around her.

"You are so comfortable to sit on, I love it," she chuckled putting a spoonful of cookies and cream in his mouth.

"Manha," he called after a while and she bobbed her head feeling her mouth freeze with the cold ice cream.

"I love you," he kissed her cheek and she smiled.

"Not like just love you but I adore you, I can't see myself without you, I fall for you every day, every moment and I just don't want to stop loving you ever," he tightened his arms around her making Manha bite her lip.

"You are literally my everything," she looked up at his face as he kissed her lips.

"And your confessions are my favorite thing ever to listen to," she grinned.

He chuckled putting his chin on top of her head.

"I am so grateful for you, I can't even tell you,"

Manha put the empty tub of ice cream away before they both laid down and she tangled her legs with his, wrapping her arm around his torso and kept her face on his chest hearing his heartbeat.

"Daniyal," she called this time staring ahead at the rustling plants.

"Hm?" He ran his hand through the length of her hair and Manha closed her eyes in relief.

"Do you ever get that feeling? Of being incomplete?" She kept her eyes closed.

"What do you mean?" He frowned slightly and Manha swallowed.

"Do you feel like we should have had a child? Don't you feel so incomplete and empty whenever you think about it?"

"Manha," he sighed as his hand stopped on her head.

"Please don't ask me to not talk about it. I want to know,"

"I do. I feel incomplete and empty whenever I think about not being able to have a child ever. I know we can't do anything about it but we can think and it's okay," Manha felt her eyes burn behind the closed lids.

"I have dreamt of having a baby, our baby, the one you would nurture in you, the one we would bring into this world together, the one we would spoil together and grow them up together, the one whose laughs would make us feel complete and content, the one who would be our support when we would be old but not everything is in our hands Manha. Maybe there is a big reward for us if we deal with it with patience right now," she felt his voice waver a little but he cleared his throat. A tear rolled down her temple and soaked into his shirt.

She remained silent as a few more tears leaked her eyes. He could feel her tears over his heart but didn't ask her to stop.

"Can I ask you something?" She asked after a while, sniffing.

"Hm,"

"Have you ever thought about adoption?"

"I haven't."

"I don't feel like we can do that. I don't know why," Manha raised her head to look at him as he wiped the wetness from her face with his thumb.

"I have never really thought about that," he mumbled. She laid back down in the previous position.

"Does it make us ungrateful if we don't want to adopt?" He shook his head at her question.

"No. We have our own choice and we are making that choice. I don't think it's like we can never adopt in our life but not now, not when we are still healing from this," she nodded.

"I am so glad you always understand what I feel like," she blinked back the tears with a small smile.

"And one more thing," she bit the corner of her lip.

"What is it?" He rubbed her back under the shirt now and it bought the much-needed warmth to her cold body.

"Do you feel like I should get myself treated because there always can be a chance, a miracle,"

"I don't know Manha. It will always be up to you. Do you want it? Do you think you can do this?"

Her heart warmed in her chest as she shut her eyes before shaking her head.

"I don't think I have the patience and kind of mental energy for this. If it doesn't work out even after all the hassle, it would be more hurtful,"

"Don't be hopeless but it's okay. I understand where you are coming from and enough of this now. Let's get into the bed," she chuckled kissing his cheek, and got up as he closed the door of the terrace behind.

The warmth and love-filled each nook and corner of their home as they both snored tangled within the other.
