Blind date - Lena Luthor

/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Lena found herself getting ready for a stupid blind date that Kara had begged her to go on. She claimed that Lena had no life out of work and her small friend group. She told Lena about that she knew the person through Alex and was a friend to both of them.

After a while of convincing her, Lena agreed but only because if she hadn't Kara would most likely not shut up about it and hearing one thing over and over again can get pretty annoying.

Lena actually felt a little nervous, maybe because it's been a while since she went on a date or because maybe the other person might not like her.

She decided beforehand to not give her last name when introducing herself, she didn't want you to think she was even remotely like Lex, other than him being her brother, there was nothing else that connected the two. She jaut hoped that you haven't heard about her being L-Corp's CEO because then it's just plain obvious what her last name was.

The date was set at Noonan's. As far as Lena knew she had to be there by 7 and right now it was 6:30 so she figured what's the harm in arriving slightly early.

To Lena's knowledge you were wearing a black hoodie with a white t-shirt and black denik jacket with black cargo pants.

Kara left out the shoes saying it was unnecessary to know that. Lena was obviously a little scared on how Kara knew what shoes you'd be wearing until she said that she might've or might have not asked.

Kara can be so weird sometimes.

Lena waited and not even a minute later you had arrived. You were about to take a seat else where when you noticed Lena.

"I guess I'm not the only one who decided to arrive early" You said with a smile and sat in front of her.

"I guess so" She replied examining you. You had dark brown eyes, that in certain lighting looked like pools of honey, you skin was a light brown colour and you hair was a raven blue colour.

"So tell me a bit about yourself" You said and she looked at you like nobody has ever asked her that before.

"You first" She said and you chuckled.

"Ok, well I don't exactly know what to say, I have an Indian heritage, but I'm pretty sure you can tell, I was born and raised for 4 years of my life in South Africa and then I moved here because of my mother's business that I've now taken over because well...she's dead,I'm 24 and....my favourite colour is black? "You said unsure about saying your favorite colour.

"I'm sorry about your mother" She said and you looked down for a second or two before clearing your throat.

"Your turn" You said with a smirk. She glared at you and you didn't want to admit it but she scared you a little.

"There's nothing interesting to know about me" She stated, avoiding the question like it was the Spanish flu.

"Ok... How about we start with your age?" You said and she glared again but simply remained unfazed which obviously worked.

"27" She said under her breath but you managed to hear it.

"See that's a start" You said and she looked at you like she was going to strangle you. "Ok, do you have any siblings? If so how many?" You asked and saw her tense up. "Forget that question, how about job occupation?" You asked instead after noticed her slightly scared but we'll hidden fear.

"Well I'm about to be promoted to the CEO in my family's company" She said.

"Congratulations, your parents must be proud" You said smiling brightly but stopped noticing her facial expression. "Was it something I said?" You asked and Lena didn't know what to do or say.

"My parents will never be proud of me, they can only be proud of my brother" She said with her head down.

"Don't say that, I'm sure that they are, they just don't know how to show it" You said lifting her head up and a slight smile was plastered on your face.

"Come on, I know a bar not far from here" You said grabbing whatever you left on the table, Lena following close behind.

You led her through a back alley and then to an old looking, rusted door. You knocked and the slot in the middle, around 3-4 metres high, opened, revealing a pair of eyes, that flashed red.

"Password" It said and you rolled your eyes.

"Dude come on, my brother owns this place, can't you let it slide?" You asked with a small but noticeable smile.

"Password" He simply repeated.

"Piña Colada" You said. You were so done with your brother and his annoying passwords. You turned to Lena. "It changes every night, each time either an alcohol or something to do with alcohol" You said and she smiled a little.

The door made a loud opening sound and then the man behind it opened the door itself revealing his actual height. He was tall and muscular, with tattoos from the neck downwards.

"Thank you Danny" You said letting Lena go in before you as you followed behind her.

"Wait you said your brother owns this bar?" She said and you nodded.

"Yes, whilst I got stuck with the family business he got to decide his own future" You said as your lips formed a thin line.

"Well the business can't be all that bad, can it?" She said and you chuckled.

"Endless meetings with jerks I don't even know, full schedule, pissed off employees almost everyday for the stupidest things you could imagine... Yeah I'd take running a bar over that any time" You said as you found a booth, in the very back for you both.

"What do you want?" You asked.

"Whiskey, neat" She said and you looked more impressed than shocked as you called over a waiter.

"Two whiskeys, neat please" You said and he nodded going over to the bar. Lena looked at you with a smirk and you shrugged.

"So Lena, did Kara have to force you on this date?" You asked and she looked at you confused. "Well at first you didn't really seem like you wanted to be here" You said and she looked down with a slight chuckle.

"She practically begged me to come here because apparent I have no love life, but I'm starting to think it wasn't such a bad idea" Lena said and you smiled.

"Yeah well Kara can be persuasive, especially when she starts with the puppy eyes" You said and Lena nodded slightly.

The drinks came and you picked up your glass and took a sip, letting the smooth liquid run down your throat.

"So just a quick question, when we entered here, I could swear I saw that body guard, Danny, eyes flash red" She said looking over to him. His eyes were now a hazel colour.

"Hmm... Danny's an alpha" You said and her head shot back to you, a little shocked.

"A-an alpha... As in-" She trailed off and you finished.

"Werewolf yeah, there's more than just aliens on this planet love" You said with a playful smirk. "It's one of the reasons my brother opened the bar" You said taking another sip of the whiskey.

"Then what are you and your brother?" She asked, now intrigued instead of shocked.

"Well, my brother, Austin, he's a warlock, me... Well I'm a hybrid, I'm two species in one" You said making her even more curious.

"How are you both?" She asked and you leaned in.

"I somehow inherited both my father and mothers genes, Austin unfortunately didn't" You said with a sad smile.

"Then what are you a hybrid of?" She asked wanting desperately to know.

"Warlock and werewolf" You said. "We're regarded as a lower class compared to aliens, that's why we hide, vampires too are consider a lesser species" You said.

"But why?" She asked ,furrowing her eyebrows.

"War between extraterrestrial's and supernatural's has been raging since the early 1200's because of the aliens breaking our truce by attacking and...killing us" You said.

"Does that mean Kara doesn't know?" Lena asked curiously. You nodded, lowering your head in shame.

"Although Kara may be a nice person, when she finds out I'm a supernatural..." You said training off. "It could change everything" You continued.

"Anyways, let's not side track from our date, You know an... Interesting piece of information about me, what about you?" You asked.

Lena contemplated for a spilt second if she should tell you she's a Luthor or not. She did, despite every fiber in her body telling her not to.

"I'm a Luthor" She said suddenly overly nervous. It set in that she just told you the one possible thing that could end this date. Right here, right now.

"I know" You said and she looked at you confused. "What did you think that your last name would drive me away?" You asked with a chuckle. She nodded slightly.

"Well then I guess you were wrong, I knew the entire time and I'm still here" You said with a smile that she reciprocated.

"Why did you trust me by bringing me here?" She asked and you smiled.

"Well Lena, I would rather not hide anything now and have it come between us later on, if there is a later on, and besides I'm pretty open about being a hybrid to anyone that isn't an alien" You said. You could see the smile she was trying to keep back.

"How do you know I'm not an alien myself?" She asked with a smirk.

"You wouldn't have been able to walk through that door" You said pouring your pointer finger at the entrance. She gulped. "We spelled it to cause extreme pain and possible death to any alien" You said which made her slightly nervous.

"And the fact that supernatural's can sense it, we think it's because every creature, supernatural or not has a special scent, it's strange but I sense something from you that...isnt entirely human. " You said knowing exactly what she was but not wanting to push it.

"That's interesting" She stated, "As far as I'm concerned I'm human" She continued, confused as she'd ever been.

"Well then, hopefully we'll figure it out together" You said with a smile.

You ordered a few more drinks but stopped at your third to be the designated driver. Someone had to drive the two of you home.

You knew Kara would be mad about Lena being extremely drunk but you were both having a good time and lost track of time and amount of drinks she had practically gulped down.

"Ok I think it's time to go" You said helping her up. As you were leaving you stopped by the bar. "Put everything that was bought on my tab" You said as the bartender nodded. You then proceeded to walk out the bar with a drunk Lena attached to your side.

You just managed to get her into the passengers seat and then you went over to the driver's side, seeing that in the extremely short amount of time, that Lena had into a deep sleep. You chuckled and started the car, driving to her apartment.

It might seem creepy that you know but in actual fact she told you when she was drunk. You went over to the passengers side of the car and opened the door. You wondered how you were gonna get the sleeping woman out of it without hitting her head on the top.

You started slowly and managed to get her out without any accidental hits or injuries for either of you. You grabbed her purse assuming that the apartment keys would be in there.

You struggled to open the door without coming so close to dropping Lena but succeeded in the end.

You walked through her apartment to find her room and once you had located it, put her down on the bed. You took her shoes off knowing how uncomfortable it must be to sleep in heels, not that you would know seeing as you only use sneaker and flip flops.

You then tried your best to out her under the duvet but failed so instead you settled on finding another blanket and covering her with it.

Just as you finished covering her you heard a knock at the door. You furrowed your eyebrows in confusion. Who would be at Lena's apartment at bearly one in the morning.

You made sure Lena was ok before heading to the door, opening it to reveal none other than Kara.

"Oh Y/n, I didn't think you'd be here" She said and you chuckled.

"Right back at you, I just brought her home. What are you doing here anyways?" You asked curiously as to why the blonde was here so early.

"I was here to give Lena this" Kara said holding up a bouquet of flowers. "They were sent to her office earlier and usually she's still up at this time, so I figured I'd bring them here" She stated with a slight shrug.

"Why the hell would a person be up at this time?" You asked a little concerned.

"Well, It's Lena we're talking about, the woman's a workaholic" Kara said as if it was the most obvious thing in the entire universe.

"Hmm" You said with a slight nod. "Well I think I should leave now, you'll lock up won't you Kara" You said and she nodded. "Oh and can you tell Lena that I had a great time" You said and Kara nodded with a wide smile.

Around an hour after you left Kara went home and locked up the sleeping Luthor's apartment.

On your side, you just thought about seeing Lena in the morning to just make sure she was ok, after all she did drink a lot and there has to be a hell of a hangover coming with it.

You got in your car and drove home with a slight smile on your face.

Not even three hours later and your alarm rang waking you up. You woke up with a groan as you say up rubbing your eyes at turning off your alarm. You looked at the digital clock in your room and it read, 04:00am in a bright blue colour.

As much as you wanted to sleep you had to be at work today, you had the entire day from 9 onwards booked for one meeting.

You made your way to the bathroom mumbled something along the lines of 'stupid investors' as you brushed your teeth.

You drank some coffee before starting your workout and then had a cold shower and ate an actual breakfast before making a hangover cute that always worked for you and then stopping at Noonan's to get a coffee. It was only 8am and you still had an hour till the meeting so you grabbed an extra coffee and a few sugar and coffee creamer packets, and ordered a breakfast muffin before heading to Lena's apartment, drinking your coffee on the way.

You knocked on the door hoping she was awake and you didn't wake her. The door unlocked an opened to reveal Lena standing there looking awake as ever and surprisingly not hung over.

"Y/n, what are you doing here?" She asked. You then held up the coffee and the bag with the muffin and a bottle that contained the hangover cure. She chuckled and let you in seeing as you were seconds away from dropping everything.

"Thank you" You said as you put the stuff on the counter, leaving the bottle in your hand. "This... " You said holding the bottle forward, "is a hangover cure" You continued and she laughed.

"Did I drink that much?" She asked and you nodded rapidy.

"And that is a coffee and muffin from Noonan's" You said with a thin lipped smile.

"Thank you but you do know that you didn't have to do that" She said and you shrugged.

"It's the least I could do after getting you nearly to blackout drunk" You said and she laughed. "But if we're being honest... " You said trailing off and a stupid smile forming on your face. "I wanted to see you again" You ended with a slight blush covering you cheeks as you looked towards the ground.

"Well then calling you today wouldn't have been a mistake" She said making your head shoot up from the ground.

"Wha-I-Really?" You asked and she nodded. You tried very hard not to celebrate, you were overly excited about the fact that Lena was going to actually call you. She stifled a laugh as she saw you holding back the celebration.

You then realised you had a meeting coming up in around 20 minutes.

"Sorry, but I have to go, I have a meeting with investors from, well I don't really care but you get the idea right?" You said.

"Yes, I'll call you later, bye" She said walking you to the door.

"Byeeee" You said and as soon as she closed the door jumped up pumping your fists in the air before looking around to check if anyone saw you. You neatened your suit and made your way to your company with a cheerful, bright smile.
