"My wife is in labor!" I shout as first reaction.

"What? Are you kidding me?" Niall comes towards us worried.

"I really really think so." Violet says as pain courses through her face.

"I will call an ambulance." Joanna says as she reaches for her phone.

"No needed I will drive her to the hospital. It's just 15 minutes away." I say.

I try to help Violet up but she really struggles so Niall ends up helping her up as well. I was a bit lost but right now my main focus was getting Violet to the hospital as soon as possible.

"Violet you peed yourself you silly!" Niall joked.

"That is not pee mate!" I say.

"Ewwwww! I think I am suddently not feeling so well." He said with a very pale face.

"Niall James Horan I need you and Harry to take me to the hospital. No fucking time to get sick!" Violet shouted with a very agresive voice.

"Holy shit! I am scared. I may have peed myself." He said with wide eyes.

"Aaaaahhh!!" Violet shouted in pain.

"Okay. Let's get her to my car." I say realizing that getting her to the car is the most important thing right now.

We make it outside and to my car. Niall opened the door for her while I held her in my arms.

"Dude you sure you want her to seat in there. What if her pee thing fucks up the leather of the car? What is she bleeds or something?" Niall asks worried.

"Niall James Horan as soon as this baby is out of me, I swear I will kill you." Violet threatened Niall.

He gulped loudly and his face turned even more pale. "Now I have pooed myself for sure."

I sit Violet on the carseat making sure she is as comfortable as possible. Before I get on my side of the car I ask Niall and Joanna to drive to our house and get our hospital bag from the baby's nursery.

After having all that settled, I drove Violet to the hospital. I was in hysterics unsure of what to do. I asked her a few times how she was doing and depending on the time she will answer me as if she was a banshee and other time she will just nicely tell me how she is feeling.

When we finally arrived to the hospital, I stepped out of the car and asked for a wheelchair. A lovely nurse helped me out and she brought a wheelchair with her to the car so Violet will not have to walk at all. Once inside, I was given a bunch of papers I have to fill in with info about Violet and her pregnancy.

After like 10 minutes with me trying to remember everything and writing as fast as possible the papers, we were finally given a room. The nurse wheeled Violet to the room while I walked besides them. Once inside we helped Violet out of her clothes and into an hospital gown. Then we helped her to bed.

The nurse monitored Violet's contractions but they were too far apart for now. Once she was settled in, Violet relaxed a bit more and also began to do her breathing exercises. She didn't scream as much but judging by her expressions of pain she was not having the best time of her life.

"I am going to call our family to let them know you are here. Do you need anything?" I ask her as I caress her hair.

"No babe. I am as okay as I can be." She gave me a smile.

I kissed her and told her I loved her before leaving the room to go to the car where my phone was. Once I retrieved it, I phoned James.

"Hello?" He answered.

"Hello James! It's me Harry, Violet is in labor. She water broke like an hour ago and she is already in the hospital." I tell him.

"What? Which hospital?" He asks.

I heard Lilian in the background asking what happened and then James explains to her that Violet is in labor. I tell him we are at Brad's hospital and I don't need to give him more indication since he knows where it is to perfection.

"How is she doing?" He asks me.

"She is hanging there. She is in pain and sometimes she shouts like a banshee but now that we are settled in the hospital she is much better. She is doing breathing exercises and all that." I tell him.

"Good." James promises to let Aaron, Brad and Leo know before I end the call. Next, I call my mom.

"Harry?" She answers.

"Yes, mom it's me. Violet is in labor!" I tell her.

"What? OMG my first grandchild is on his way!" She shouted excited.

"Yes mom." I say with a smile on my face.

"How are you and Violet doing?" She asks.

"I am fine. Violet is in pain but she is already doing her breathing exercises." I say.

"That is good. I am on my way now. Call Gem!" She says before we say our goodbyes.

I call Gemma next and as soon as she know she is about to become an aunt she shouts in my ear. I think I am going to end up deaf after Violet and Gemma's shouts.

Once everybody is aware that our baby is on his way, I go back inside the room. Violet is asleep with a monitor counting the time between each contraction. She looks peaceful but sometimes her face shows traces of pain.

A few minutes later, Niall and Joanna show up with the hospital bag, a change of clothes for me and some food. I thank them and then they tell me they will be outside waiting since Violet is asleep and they didn't want to disturb her.

James and Lilian are the first ones to arrive just a few minutes after Violet wakes up. She tries to put a brave face for them but sometimes she can't help the groans of pain. James looks really worried and tries his best to cheer her up which ends up being a success since Violet begins to laugh at him.

After a while, my mom also shows up with Robin. She hugs me and then carefully hugs Violet. She, the nurse and Violet begin to talk about lots of stuff birth related. The nurse tells us that Violet is dilated enough to get a epidural.

"Do you want to take that baby?" James asks her.

"Mum told me that she never took it." Violet says making James face emotional. "I am not taking it."

"Are you sure Violet? It will help you." Mom says trying to convince her.

"Yes I am. I want to do this as natural as possible." She says.

"Well then." The nurse says before leaving.

Hours and hours passed by and nothing other than the constant groans of Violet told us that the baby was on his way. I wanted this process to be over and have our baby with us.

During our wait, Violet's brothers showed up. Aaron was with Brit but no Mia or Lucas who were with their nanny. Brad also showed up alone and with his work clothes on since he received his father's call while he was at work. Leo and Connor showed up together with a bunch of violets and some chocolates for my wife. Violet thanked them and began to eat a few chocolates before puting them aside since her stomach was not in the mood to eat.

Gemma also showed up with Evan. She was carrying a teddy bear for our son and Violet smiled as soon as she saw it. We thanked her and then she joined Violet's brothers, Niall and Joanna on the waiting room.

Robert and Marine showed up later. I sent him a text message after we were settled in the hospital. I knew I couldn't do it without knowing he is here. He has been a great support in my life this last few years and a father role model I missed.

Louis came as well with Eleanor. They wished us luck with the baby and then stepped outside not wanting to disturb Violet who was in pain when they arrived. She was doing well with all her exercises and I helped as much as possible thanks to the massages I learned that time I went to birth preparation classes with her.

"How are you doing?" Mom asked me with a smile.

"Fine. I just want to meet him you know." I say.

"I was the same with you and Gem." She tells me.

Mom winked at me and kissed my cheek before leaving to go get herself a coffee. She also promises she will bring me some. Only James and I are left alone with Violet who is being checked by the nurse.

"You are nearly there. I will check you out in 15 minutes." The nurse says before leaving.

Just a little bit more before our baby is here.

Sorry I couldn't post this yesterday. My plan was to post this at this same time but yesterday, however I had unplanned dinner with my friends (like literally we kind of planned 5 minutes before meeting lol) and then when I arrived home The Great Gatsby was on my tv. You know how much I love DiCaprio and I don't know if I ever mentioned it but I love The Great Gatsby (the book I mean). Just this week we started commenting it on my literature class so I just couldn't miss it.

I hope I am able to update again tomorrow, I don't really think I won't be able to do so. I truly believe I will post tomorrow and it will be a very important chapter ;)
