A Lukanette Shot...

Marinette walked down the road to her favourite café. She quietly went inside and say at her usual table in the back near the window. She ordered her usual grilled cheese and lemon grass tea and took out her laptop to start typing. The café got busier as time flew and more people came and went. It was about   12 pm on the afternoon and she was still there. Mari was a writer and was currently working on her new novel "The Perfect Melody". She hadn't been paying much attention since she was busy typing and editing.

While she was minding her own business a bit down the street at the crossroad a boy sat playing a guitar. People dropped money in his case and some even stopped to listen. He was there for only 7 minutes but had already gathered a small audience.

She sat there with her head on the table because she was having a writer's block. "You okay?" a girl asked. Mari looked up to see Andi the owner 's 17 year old daughter and one of the waiters standing there. "Oh hey An" Mari replied as the girl sat down. "You seemed stressed hun" Andi said worriedly. Mari and Andi dispite being 6 years apart were really good friends. "Just writers block" Mari replied annoyed, "Wait,where's that melody coming from?"

"That's Luka, he normally comes to play down by the crossroad. He's really sweet, and cute" Andi said with a dreamy sigh. Mari rolled her eyes playfully. Andi shot up, "Hey Jay, watch this table for me" she called out to her cousin who was also a worker as she dragged Mari.

"Andiiiiii, where arreeeee weeee goiiinngggg" Mari asked as Andi dragged her by the arm out the café. "To watch" Andi replied calm and collectively. The reached where Luka was playing his guitar. The music was hypnotising, it almost felt like a trance. They stood there for a few minutes when Luka looked in Mari's direction and their eyes met. They stared at each other and Luka felt like he was drowning in her blue bell eyes. After his little street performance and everyone continued about their business Mari and Andi turned around to see Luka walking towards them. He called after Mari, while Andi ran off.

"Hi"
"Hi?"
" I'm Luka"
"Marinette"
"I know we haven't known each other for long but I'd like to  invite you out"

9 pm, I cleaned three coobs today and is hella tired
I wanna ghj me" My eyes are closing I cant see.

Marinette looked dumbfounded. "It's okay if yo-" Luka started but was interrupted "It would be my pleasure" the bluenette replied with a smile. She took his hand and a pen from her hair and wrote her number in the middle. " text me" and with that she was off. She got back did some more work and left.

She and Luka texted everyday, they had a lot in common, favourite songs, artists,books and many more. They dated for a while till they both became official, but Luk a never told her his secret.

One day Luka invited Marinette to a Jagged Stone concert. They are vybing when Luka dismissed himself. He was gone for some time and mari never really made it bother her. Luk a was backstage preparing as the audiences waited patiently for a next song.

Luka finally stepped out  "This is dedicated to a special girl"then he stated to started to sing and play. Every One was dumbfounded. At the end of his song he called Marinette onstage and proposed. "Yes" she squealed happily. I
