Bella's POV

Her cheeks transformed into ripe tomatoes the moment I teased her with "LOVER BOY." "Hush," she mumbled, snatching her phone back in a flash... After a brief pause, a laughter volcano erupted from me - her crimson face was pure gold! Three minutes of hysterics later, tears rolling down my cheeks, I dared to glance up only to meet Clara's fiery gaze.
"What?" I feigned innocence, fully aware of why she was shooting daggers at me. Before she could unleash a sassy comeback, her phone chimed again. Snatching it up, a glint of amusement replaced her anger. "Another text from Lover boy?" she teased, throwing me a look that could kill.

"Just stating the facts, you know," I shrugged. "Well, maybe keep those truth bombs to yourself," she shot back, oozing sass.

Raising my hands in surrender, I joked, "Fine, I'll zip up my truth-telling lips." She flipped her hair as I rolled my eyes, realizing we had just 20 minutes to get to Liam's party. Glancing at Clara, who was glued to her phone, I teased, "Save the chitchat for later, let's hit the road and catch up with Liam in person, okay?" She shot me an annoyed smile as I grabbed my car keys and headed to my room for my heels.

"Bring mine too!" Clara hollered from outside. Scanning the room, I spotted her stunning sapphire blue heels and swiftly grabbed them. Racing out, we hopped into my car and zoomed off to Liam's. As we reached his house the size made me wonder, "How rich is this guy?"
