Alex Pov

I'm nudged awake by Max after falling asleep again on the bed.

"C'mon Alex what have I told you about sleeping this much" Max says disappointed.

"Don't sleep in the day or you wont at night" I sigh back.

"Good, because El found Ralph Macchio" She says as we both head towards El, who is gawking at a photo of him.

"I bet he's an amazing kisser to" Max beams.

"Oh what I wouldn't give" I dramatically say. Max just rolls her eyes and kisses me while El fake gags and turns back to gawking.

"Is...Mike a good kisser?" Max asks.

"I don't know, he's my first boyfriend" El responds.

"I can imagine it now" I shudder as the other giggle. "If its any help, I bet you Mike will come crawling back in less than a week, on his hands and knees" 

"Yeah, he's probably wallowing in self pity right now, 'I hope she takes me baaaack'" She playfully mocks. "What I wouldn't give to see his stupid face" 

El seemingly gets an idea, she tells Max about her ability to look into some void, a void I know all to well, though I still use my mind control powers, I vowed never to use my seeing power, as I viewed it as a massive breach of privacy. El sits underneath a radio playing static.

"I cant believe we're actually doing this...holy shit we're actually doing this" Max says excitedly, I squeeze her hand and she looks to me. "Oh right, sorry"

She remains quiet for a while as her nose bleeds until she gasps at something.

"I see them" 

"They say we are a species..." El elaborates.

"Huh" I ask.

"Emotion not logic" El says.

"What" Max says angrily squeezing my hand tighter.

She then rips her blindfold off seemingly in a panic, she looks to us and we look back worried, then she bursts into laughter.

3rd Person Pov

"THREE INCHES" Hopper bursts through the door to see El and Max reading a comic with Alex asleep with his head in Max's lap.

"Do you knock?" El asks.

"Yeah...you could've woken him up" Max says pointing to Alex, sleeping like a log.

"Oh...right" Hopper says.

"Max and Alex wanted to stay for a sleepover?" El asks.

"Yeah sure...just...keep it PG" he says looking to Max.

"Ew gross...but..." Max chuckles. Hopper closes the door and the girls get back to reading.

Time skip

Alex Pov

I slept through El spying on more people, she looked at Billy and was worried because she heard screams, we decided to wait until tomorrow to leave, I was given the short straw and slept on the couch while Max and El slept in El's room. I wake up and notice a weight on my body, I fully open my eyes to see Max clinging onto me. I nudge her awake and she widens her eyes when she notices me.

"That's a nice surprise" I say tireldly.

"You...looked lonely that's all" She says avoiding eye contact and we get ready to leave.

Time skip

We all walk towards Max's house, along the way Max tries to dance around the idea of sex to El, who is still incredibly unaware of these things. We arrive at her house an Max examines her front yard. 

"His cars not here?" She questions.

We decide to enter none the less and enter his room.

"Why do I feel like we're gonna find all kinds of wrong in here" Max says, she opens one draw and finds Billy's 'magazines'.

"Ew gag me with a spoon"

"I don't have a spoon but I do have-" I try to joke but Max puts her hand over my mouth.

"Not here" Her face is angry but she also blushes. I lean into her ear.

"Some where else then" I whisper, she shivers and her face goes completely red. We enter the bathroom.

"Odd" I say pointing out blood stains on his cabinet. I open it and find a whistle for a life guard, covered in blood.

Time skip

We walked all the way in the pouring rain to the pool, I gave my raincoat to Max, it was a size to big for her but its what any gentleman would've done, though I did have to walk without a coat. We approach the front desk and see two teenagers looking disinterested.

"Hey, we found this whistle, belong to anyo-" I begin.

"No swimming after the final whistle, if-" He cuts me off but I cut him off.

"I said I had a lifeguards whistle, not that I wanted to swim" I say, he looks up from his magazine to look at the whistle.

"That's Heathers, I'll give it back to her" He says going back.

"We could give it back to her" Max says happily.

"...you kids want a reward or something" He sarcastically says.

"God your sarcastic, lets go" I say leading the others off.

"If I recall you don't have a problem with my sarcasm" Max raises and eyebrow.

"Its cute when you do it" I say blankly back.

El sees a picture of Heather and rips it off of the wall, she gets an idea to spy on her, I advise against it but I'm outvoted. El and I turn on the showers to recreate static and she puts a blindfold on. She remains quiet for a long time before taking the blindfold off clearly in a panic, she cant answer any of mine and Max's questions for a while since she's breathing so heavily.

Time skip

Its still raining by the time we get to Heather's house, we decide to just open the door using her mind powers after knocking failed. We slowly walk in and I hand Max a towel.

"Uhh...why the towel?" Max asks. I flash her a cocky grin.

"Cant have any rain messing with that beautiful face of your can we?" I smile as she rolls her eyes, blushes and wipes the water from her face.

We walk in and see a truly horrifying sight, Billy sitting there smiling.

"Sorry to barge in...maybe you didn't here us over...everything outside" I apologize.

"Who...is this dripping all over my living room right now" Heathers father asks.

"Oh, I'm sorry, this...is my sister Maxine, her incredibly boyfriend Alex and...I didn't quite catch your name" He says standing up and introducing us.

"El" She says blankly.

"Well 'El'...is something wrong"

"Where is she?" She asks coldly.

"I'm sorry...where is who?" Billy asks slower and more threateningly.

"I'm sorry their a bit burnt" Heather says coming into the kitchen with a tray of cookies.

"Heather...this is my sister Maxine, her boyfriend Alex and...'El', now you said you were looking for someone"

 "I-I saw-" El starts but Max cuts her off.

"Your manager...at the pool, your manager said you didn't come in so we got worries."

"Oh yeah, Heather wasn't feeling so hot so we nursed her back to health...but she's fine, aren't you Heather?" 

"Yes, completely fine" She says creepily. "Do you kids want a cookie, their fresh our of the oven?"

"Yes please" I say as I grab a cookie, they burn my hand slightly but they taste very good, Max looks at me with wide eyes. "I was hungry"
