Keigo could hear crying nearby. He tilted his head and searched for the source. The playground was almost empty besides a few kids playing on the swings nearby. He climbed the ladder on one of the playsets and when he looked up his eyes were met by set of cerulean ones.

There was a bandage on the boys cheek and tears streaming down his face. Keigo was naturally curious and pulled himself up to sit next to the boy.

"Go away." The boy whispered. Keigo open his mouth to say something but stayed quiet. He got closer and wrapped a small red wing around the boy. The boy looked at the wing curiously.

Keigo watched him. "Why are you crying?" He asked softly. The boy sniffled and leaned into him a bit. "Dad hit mama again and then punished me for getting in the way." He hid his face in his hands.

Keigo frowned and wrapped both his wings around him as he hugged him. "Just let it out and you'll feel better. I'm here for you." He said softly. His cheek brushed against the boys red hair.

The boy hesitantly hugged back and his crying turned into broken laughter. Keigo was confused and pulled away. "What's wrong?" He questioned thinking he did something wrong.

"Besides my life, nothing. You're just really nice." He replied, wiping his eyes. He gave him a small smile and hugged him again. "And you give good hugs." He touched his wings lightly. "Can you fly?" He asked curiously as he pulled away.

Keigo was happy he was feeling better. "Sort of." He replied, flapping them a bit. A few downy feathers floated around but he pulled them back to his wings.

"Amazing." The boy said softly.

"Hey you wanna be friends?" Keigo asked. The boy tilted his head and grinned.

"Friends?"

"Yeah." Keigo said excitedly.

The boy nodded. "Sure."

Keigo squeaked excitedly. The boy smiled and watched keigo. They played for some time and Keigo took a small feather from one of his wings and gave it to him.

"Now I'll always be with you " The boy looked at it and smiled softly.

"Thank you." He held it close to his chest. Keigo hugged him one last time and pecked his cheek affectionately. The boys mother had been calling him for some time and he turned to her. "Coming mama." He called.

"Bye birdie." He said as he ran off to his mother.

"I've been calling you Touya." She said loud enough for Keigo to hear.

'Touya....remember me in the future.' He thought to himself.
