He didn't know when did it happen, but the children caught on the fact that he could play piano and sing. 

"You can't pretend that you can not do that again, Human! We saw you practicing at night!" Raon had been grinning as he told the red-head so.

"Aigoo... so you were not sleeping after all? When did you hear me?" Cale asked back with the best poker face he has to hide his embarrassment.

"Err... Last night!" 

It has been a whole week ever since the late night fiasco. Naturally none of them speaks of that night to the red-head despite reacting to the discovery their own way.

Raon actually has a recording of that extremely sad song that Cale sung before, but it was something that he never intended to show the others.

The normally confident young dragon just stuttered and seemingly nervous for some reason.

Raon is obviously hiding something from him.

Cale couldn’t help but wonder, though he then shake his head at the young dragon's question before then patting his head.

"Nothing. It's just..." he trailed a bit as he arranged his words, "if there's something bothering you, know that I'm here okay? I'll always be here for you"

The dragon's eyes gleamed. He was moved from what the redhead said, it seemed like all of his problems vanished in an instant.

And just like the name of his attribute, and the literal name that Cale made just for him [joyful dragon], Raon will make sure that no moments shall pass by in vain.

He'll make it so that his every day with this human and their dearest family to be a blessing and a joyful gift.

To which, that confession has actually surprised Cale who did not expected for him to actually say it so bluntly.

'I guess he is still a child after all'

Unexpectedly, rather than annoyed, Cale was relieved that Raon seems to trust him enough to shares his feelings.

"Really? Do you want to talk about it, hmm?"

As he pats the black dragon's head before then caressing his back so gently, Cale asked carefully as he did not want to step any lines he should not crossed.

"I'm afraid that you'll leave me..."

That red-head tried not to freeze at the sudden revelation. He then calmed himself first seeing that the young dragon did not say anything else after that one statement.

"I see. Well, you don't have to worry about that for a long while then. I intends to watch you, On, Hong, and our family grows old."

He shared his honest sentiments.

"...you do know that Dragons would age for hundreds of years right?"

Cale stared at the tearful eyes as his hand stopped moving.

"Raon," He called softly.

"All lives would eventually die"

That's the bitter truth. And he knows that the younger knows. Why else he brought this topic up?

"It is good to be prepared for the future and learn from the past. But above all else..." as Cale trailed on his words, he beckoned to the two cats that seemed to be listening to their conversation since a few moments ago, to get closer as these words are meant to be listened for the three of them especially.

"Live to the fullest in this beautiful present. That is far much more important than anything else"

He caressed the three children average ten-years-old's heads and backs to calm them down.

"You don't have to fear the unknown future, likewise, it is not good to get stuck in your past. Being alive is the best, so don't waste your time thinking about unnecessary stuffs, understand?"

The three of them stared right back at those reddish-brown pairs with their own emotions swirling in their eyes.

"Meowww"

Cale hold back his sigh as he seems to have failed on cheering these children.

「Well, they're not wrong to be scared... to be left alone is indeed terrible... oh so... so terrible」

The Crybaby sobbed after listening to their conversation.

Of all times where Cale disliked the Super Rock's spontaneous replies, this might be one of the top thirds in his rank.

It was hard not to frown because of the two's comments. Thankfully, he maintain his expression as he carried the three heavy children with his trembling arms to a certain location.

"Hmm? Why are we here, human?" Raon asked as he realized where the red-head has brought them.

"Are you going to play for us, nya?" On asked, as the mood slowly fixed when Cale smiles.

"That is right. I have practiced a lot. Didn't you say you wanted to hear me play?"

The three of them were slightly uncomfortable as they remembered the song that Cale has been practicing on. However, they tried not to shows their concern since this good human before them wasn't supposed to know that they knew about his little secret.

"Finally, nya! You sure took your time!" Hong mischievously chirped as Cale chuckled, liking his enthusiasm.

"Well, I'm practically a newbie again at this point, so please be kind to me, okay?"

The children average ten-years-old replied to his words with a giggle.

"Human! Is it okay if I record it?" Raon asked as his wings flutter.

Cale felt slightly iffy as he asked, "who are you going to send it to...?"

After all, it's obvious that him asking a permission like this would only means that the young dragon intended to show it to others.

"Just Choi Han, Grandpa Ron, Goldie gramps, Nice Beacrox, Good Mary, Smart Rosalyn, the Emperor—"

"Stop. stop."

Cale let out a sigh as the list of name seems to get longer and longer.

"Just... a few people, okay? And among those people, Clopeh should NOT be one of them." He strictly added to the condition.

"Of course! Crazy Clopeh would spins around nonstop if he get this recording. I won't give him"

Cale trusted the young dragon's words as he wordlessly turned to the blue piano after getting Hong and On away from his reach. He did not want to accidentally hit them as he plays.

Soon he started with the intro.

The children's ears perked as it is a different intro than the one that they've been listening at nights.

Their tail wiggles as they listened in anticipation.

There is no need of exaggeration or lies in this kind of answer. Just plain old honesty.
