3... 2.... 1... GO!!!!!

We jumped off again and we had a different composition of weapons this time.

Weapons:

Brooks: "Custom" Splattershot Pro.

Glen: E-liter 4K. 

A-kun: Interesting...

Andrew: Sloshing Machine... (Still using it after all this time...)

Cross: Splattershot. (The 'original'?! Wow, so poor.)

And yep. We still didn't had Nikki. I'll just give her something later so she doesn't get "that" angry.

And by the way. The map was in the like.. The "Shifty Station". Like what? And those two idols said that they made it themselves. Okay, I'm facing great odds here. But whatever. I'll do my best anyway.

Fast-forward a little bit.

Brooks: *gets splatted* ...

Well. I knew I'm facing a good team. Let's take this seriously, Brooks.

Brooks: *respawns* *immediately runs off* ...

Well. I will get turf inked because it feels like my "doods" there left some un-inked. 

So if I can't win via kill-oriented style. I'll just ink turf. But my kit is begging to get some kills so after a little bit of "cleaning up" the un-inked turf I left my current duties and gone to find Andrew since he has a pretty good weapon for inking turf. 

But I can't seem to find him... I'll just do it on my own, I guess...

Brooks: *encounters an enemy* Oh, no! *throws a Seeker* *splats the enemy* 

Okay... I've been awfully quiet in the match. But this is a must-win because it will just keep our streaks of winning alive, but also shutting up this chump who thinks we're bad to even keep up... If he trash talks me, our whole crew is going to retaliate about it. We are in this together..

Cross's P. O. V

I've been still have the "hot hand" with the Sloshing Machine even with the long, long streak of wins. 

We took a break earlier to catch our breath but I expected that "Hot Hand" to go away. But no, if i can't get kills via the normal fire my rest of my kit will help me. The Autobomb and Stingray was so useful to grab kills medium or long-range.

Cross: *sees Brooks* Hey! *waves hand*

I saw Brooks running in the direction where I was running to as well. So it's a good time to join him.

Brooks's P. O. V

Oh? Cross? Alright then. He's been killing it with the Sloshing Machine so I think we are a pretty unstoppable force here in the middle. But I don't know if we can help inking the floor so... 

Nope, let's nevermind that and splat more guys since I have a "Below Average" splats right now.

Brooks: *looks at Cross* Oh, hey! Let's camp here!

Cross: Alright. If we can't find anyone, let's paint the area. 

Brooks: Okay...

We waited and... We... Saw... No one. Okay, that's does it. Let's paint the area instead. 

Brooks: Okay, you just ink the remaining area, I'll protect you from getting splatted.

Then out of nowhere, some guys popped out of the area where uh..... How do i explain this... Ummmm, those "Ink Rails" yeah! They start from near the spawn point to the middle immediately. 

A-kun: The Shifty Station "version" I'm using is the Trick vs Treat one.

2020 A-kun; You wouldn't probably know that anyway. Sorry, readers.

That's a big problem because that took us by surprise. 

Brooks: *activates the special* ...

I got him. Two. Okay... There's still an area not tended to. But more are coming a little bit I think? Let's get out of here.

Brooks: Okay Cross, I'm going away now! You're on your own!

See separate out in two directions and got away from being splatted. Then i checked the map. Woops. Okay. We are losing.. Wat? Alrighty then. Let's get to work. It's a... Almost 1 minute left!? Okay we need to pull of a comeback... Welp, i can't help with the painting because i have a kill-oriented weapon soooo..... Yeah..

Then I hit. The 1 minute mark. The music get frantic, going in faster speeds than normal.

A-kun: I Guess This Is Needed Right? (Note: I just remembered there's the Super Jump. DAMN IT-)

Then I saw Glen at the map signaling something.. It was "Help!" okay let's go then.

Brooks: Alright! *super jumps to Glen*

Gotta help quickly. Then i saw Cross die at the top of my HUD. Okie... We are not winning this quickly. So i signaled, "C'mon! This Way!" then Andrew "Super Jumped" to me. 

Brooks:Okay Andrew, Get away from here again. Sorry. But i just wanted to tell you that you need to paint the unguarded area over there! *points to the place*

We were at the left side of the map. So the right, it was left unguarded. I felt it's gonna be a really vital place to paint to complete the comeback. Well my plan I'm gonna bait all of the enemies to our position so Andrew has complete control of the area so we can come up from behind to win.

Andrew:Okay! It's clear over there! Okay see ya! *runs to the right side of the map* 

Okay. They are coming now... Let's get this win.

Jesse's P. O. V

Right. Let's get these stupid Inklings that thinks they can win against us. I see them!

Jesse: Mark! Use your special!

Mark: Alright! *uses special*

His weapon was a Suction-Bomb Launcher. And his weapon was a Neo Splash-O-Matic. He was getting them good. 

2020 A-kun: You see these people? Yeah, they're irrelevant after this.

Brooks P. O. V

Ugh. Why?! Okay... Calm Down. Let's sneak up to them. My special was ready anyway.

Brooks: *runs away from the special* ... *then swims in the ink*

Cross P. O. V

Okay. My special is ready. Gotta get some distance. But Glen isn't doing so hot. So...

Cross: Glen! Get away from there! Get some distance!

Then Glen nodded and went away from the bombing spot. As for me? I'm relocating back so I can use the special effectively. 

Andrew's P. O. V

Alright. I've gonna do this. We're losing. So we need more turf to cover. And this is the spot that will get us back in the game.

Andrew:*uses special* ... *silent*

Okay. We got most of it already. Gonna paint this to our color real quick.

Brooks & Cross's P. O. V

Wait for it............

NOW!

Brooks's P. O. V

I used my Kraken special and killed one of them. And they were put in a panic.

Cross's P. O. V

I used my special. The Sting Ray. And got a triple kill. I looked at my HUD. And it showed a "Team Wipe" Yes! A comeback is coming.

Brooks's P. O. V

Yes! A "Team Wipe!" finally. My special ran out so I painted the area quickly. And for some reason, Cross stole my team kill with his own special the Sting Ray. Okay... doesn't matter how we're gonna win anyway. I wonder what's happening with Andrew. Hope he's doing really well out there. 

Andrew's P. O. V

All 4 were killed and they just respawned. So we have time to take back the lead. 10 seconds... 

It's ours now. We win.

We win. We just pulled a comeback!

Glen's P. O. V

Oh... I'm very scared. Did we win?

A-kun: A cool detail I found with the picture, the Yellow represents "Thunderstorm" and the Blue "Rainstorm". What are the freaking chances I can find a picture like that in Google? But I didn't find a Shifty Station one. So sorry.

Brooks's P. O. V

Let's go. I got to beat this foolish team.

So we left the lobby and the other team never looked at us. 

Serves them right. Don't be cocky with every team you face.

We took a break and we tried to call Nikki but she wasn't answering. So we tried to find her instead but it's gonna be challenging. It's a rave outside. I don't know when I'm gonna see her.

Ah! We see her now. She's reaching for something in Crusty Sean's food truck.

Brooks: Hey! Nikki! 

Then she looked at us with a big smile.

Nikki: Oh, hey guys! *smiles*

Andrew: You seem too happy right now. What is up?

Nikki: Oh, you know. I got the "Thunderstorm" Queen rank already.

We were all very surprised. How? We went on a winning streak and it's still not broken yet. How did she... Okay. Let's ask.

Brooks: Did you just speedrun the whole Splatfest on your own?

Nikki: Yeah... Maybe a little too much. *giggles* This is my first break.

Oh... I see. We took a break 3 times so... I guess a good point. 

Glen: Why? You're gonna be so exhausted. Take a very long break.

Nikki: Yeah! I'm just gonna wait for you guys to get you last rank in the Splatfest.

Cross: Okay, then. It won't take long. Just stay there, okay?

Nikki: Okay, then! See ya!

Brooks: Let's get back in the lobby guys. 

At Inkopolis Square's tower...

Brooks: Alrighty. One more run guys. Let's not lose...

All 3: Yeah! *walks into the lobby*

After a lot of Ranked Turf War games later...

A-kun: Don't mind that 'Mayo' there. Just use your powerful mind, readers!

Yes. Finally. We got it. Now time to rest and see the results tomorrow. Gee, that's was a really long time of just battling it out. Good thing I didn't get bored at all.

After getting out of the lobby...

Brooks: Okay. Cross.

Cross: What now? I'm already too tired to talk.

Brooks: Can you check the time?

Cross: You piece of... *groans* It's 11:22 PM.

Brooks: We gotta get back at the hotel.

Glen: I see Nikki!

Glen saw Nikki and came up to us saying.

Nikki: What took you so long? It's so late at night! Let's get back to the hotel now.

Brooks: Alright... *walks to the bus station*

We all walked to the bus station. Very. Very tired because of the battles and how long they were. I just wanna sleep...

Glen: Hey... There is a bus coming.

Brooks: Y-yay... *very tired tone*

Next morning...

Cross's P. O. V

Cross:*wakes up* 

Good morning.....

Cross:*stretching his arms* ... *gets up from bed*

What time is it? It's 7:05 AM? Oh, that's early for a late sleep. Well. let's see if the others have woken up.

In the living room...

Brooks's P. O. V

Hmmm... What to do later if we finally go home... What am I doing you ask? Well, I'm just standing over the balcony. The view is very good. Good thing I got up early to see the sunrise.

Brooks: Hm? *turns around*

I heard the glass door move, I turned around and it was Cross.

Brooks: *goes into the hotel room* What do you want? *talks quietly*

Cross: Are we gonna wake up the 3? 

Brooks: Go on. I'm going to the eating area. See if they are ready for breakfast.

Cross: Okay, then.

Brooks: When you wake them up, tell them to go to the eating area so we are first in line.

Cross: What kind of eating area is it?

Brooks: Uh, an All-you-can-eat buffet.

Cross's eyes widen.

Cross: Really?

Brooks: Yeah. The "Concierge" told me that. 

A-kun: I Had to search for that. See? You can always learn something every day.

Cross: Uh. Okay... You can go now... 

Brooks: Alright. See ya later. *leaves the hotel room*

Brooks: *waiting in the chair* ... *getting impatient*

Where the hell are they at? Well, i guess they're still tired AF so i guess that a fair point why they are slow...

???: Hey Brooks!

Then I looked in the direction of the voice and it was Cross. And the others. All good for another day.

Brooks: Good morning everyone.

Nikki: Good morning to you too! *smiles*

Glen: Good morning to you too Brooks!

Cross: So where's the buffet? I'm really hungry right now.

Brooks: Well, over there. You can see it in plain sight.

Cross: Great! Let's go, guys! I'm so hungry.

Brooks: And by the way, we are gonna leave at 10:00 AM. So we gotta get this done quickly.

All 4: Okay! *runs to get a plate*

After a long feast...

Cross's P. O. V

Woo... I'm so full. That was a great buffet. But we need to get dressed quickly. Hope the guys won't take THAT long to do anything.

Cross: *goes out of the dressing room* Hey Brooks! 

Brooks: Oh, yea? 

Cross: You finished?

Brooks: Yeah.

Cross: Who's left?

Brooks: Glen. We all ready except for Glen. She won't take long trust me.

Cross: What time is it?

Brooks: It's 9:34 AM right now.

Cross: That's very early.

Brooks: Yeah. I'm excited about the prize at the Square. *excited*

Glen: *gets out of the "other" dressing room* H-hello. I'm finished.

Brooks: You look good! *smiles*

Glen: T-thanks...

Brooks: Well, let's get going now. To the Square!

Tomorrow morning...

Brooks's P. O. V

We're outside the hotel. Another day. Here we come.

Brooks: *walks up to the bus station* ...

The bus station was conveniently was very near to the hotel itself and we got to a bus really early.

Brooks:*goes into the bus* (Here we come Inkopolis Square...)

30 minutes of bus riding later...

We got there. And we got to see the news flash of the those two idols and i just learned their was "Off The Hook." Soo... That's cool. But I wanted to see who won the Splatfest. Nothing else matters.

A bit of talking from Off The Hook...

And we won. Ha! 3 to 1! Suck that "Rainstorm"! And after that, we got these things called "Super Sea Snails".  It is very valuable said Nikki so I believe the professional.

Brooks: Welp. There's nothing else to do now. Let us go home, everyone! *hops happily to the bus stop*

Cross: I often ask myself if Brooks is really a guy or not... *walks to the bus stop*

And... that was it really. Hehe. But I think we have nothing to do tomorrow. So... It's "Rest Day!" 

A-kun: Finally finished with "Showtime..." Well as you see at the ending by Brooks. The next chapter will be named "Rest Day"! Yay! Chapter I can take lightly. So that's all. See you all next Chapter. BYE!
