The Owl House VS Amphibia. From normal teenagers to heroes of the supernatural they discovered two of Disney's cartoon protagonists will finally step in the ring in this season premiere. Who will win and who will die?

Mario: Luz Noceda, the human nerdy witch from The Owl House.

Mega Man: And Anne Boonchuy, the chosen blue Calamity Gem from Amphibia.

Sonic: These two girls had seemingly lived normal lives ob the surface but upon discovering the supernatural their lives have forever changed.

Mega Man: And as a result they ended up becoming the protectors of their nee discoveries. Their Mario and Sonic and I'm Mega Man.

Mario: And it's our job to analyze their weapons armor and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle.

Luz Noceda

Mario: Luz Noceda was just your average teenage girl: She hates school for obvious reasons, has a decent relationship with her mom, and idolize fantasy characters.

Sonic: In a nutshell she's basically a completely total nerd as she reads this book called the The Good Witch Azura. Kinda like how most of the world reads Harry Potter.

Mega Man: Yeah but being a total nerd didn't stop Luz from failing at school as she had several problems that involve live snakes, she is sent to summer school with her mom's hopes being that she can get away from all the fantasy drama and focus on reality.... But by some strange coincidence some owl stole her book leading her to chase after it ends up at an old rundown house and finds a portal and teleports her to a magical world where her fantasy is actually a reality.

Mario: This place is called the Boiling Isles in a separate realm far from her own.

Sonic: Talk about a dream come true. But then she encountered this old lady named Eda Clawthorne and was scared of her for a second but eventually the two became friends and with Luz in the new world she decided to teach her magic.

Mega Man: We also found out that the owl from earlier can actually turn into a staff.

Mario: The staff Luz wields is called Owlbert it allows Luz to fly and cast magic spells.

Sonic: In the world of Owl House magic is a supernatural source of energy originally from the Boiling Isles.

Mega Man: Sure they all require specific shapes to form magic but most of them can cast a ton of killer spells like fire, ice, lightning, water, and plant.

Mario: She can create balls of light, turn invisible, and wear a cloak that protects her against all magic.

Quick heads up: While Luz has never been shown to use most of the spells she should still be able to at least know how to use them.

Sonic: She can even combine a few of these magic to create new spells like snow and mist. Basically you can combine those things.

Mega Man: Not only does she has a lot of spells but she's also versatile with them. She can create balls of light, pillars made out of flames, create a rope made out of plants, forcefields, and so much more.

Mario: However there is one small problem because she doesn't have an organic bile sac, Luz actually has to draw glyphs to use magic, and should get separated from them she's practically powerless.

Sonic: Also it can be a real pain in the ass when someone attacks you faster before she has the chance to draw out magic circles.

Mega Man: Luckily despite not having any form of training physically she's still pretty acrobatic plus remember that Owlbert can cast spells for her anyway.

Mario: While on her new adventure with her mentor Eda and several other of her fellow witches like Amity, Luz has done some very impressive things.

Sonic: Her magic was strong enough to create this tunnel which at most would require 2 tons of TNT. And even created these ice pillars which should have an energy of 3775 tons of TNT.

Mega Man: She's been through Hell and back battling monsters and tyrants like the big bad himself Emperor Belos and even dodged magic beams from him.

Mario: Given that Light magic is similar to original light we can at the very say Luz and other characters should be around slower than light.

Sonic: We can totally back this up because Eda was able to dodge lightning with ease.

Mega Man: On top of that she held together the portal to the human realm as it was breaking with various vines. Dear God that's completely insane. Who needs summer school when you can learn how to be witch?

Mario: What else is there Luz may have started out as a fantasy obsessed nerd but she grew up to become far more than she could've ever imagined.

Sonic: Don't underestimate Luz the Human Witch.

Luz: You shouldn't underestimate me, Garlog. For I am the great Luz, hunter of monsters! Now eat this, SUCKA!!! Whaa...

Anne Boonchuy

Mario: Anne Boonchuy, was just your average teenage girl: She had a decent relationship with her mother, made friends after being protected from bullies.

Sonic: And hated school so much that she and her friends decided to party, talk about skipping class. But then one day Anne's friends Sasha and Marcy had a claver idea: Ditch school on Anne's 13th birthday to have fun at an arcade and then wait until night time to break into a store and steal a box.

Mega Man: And then all Hell broke loose. Turns out that box was a ticket to another world and when they opened it they magically transported to another world far from their own. Now how does that sound familiar.

Mario: The box that transported the trio is called the Calamity Box which is capable of transporting people across world. And as for the world the arrived in is Amphibia which is basically and island/single continent on the planet.

Sonic: Yeah yeah basically they got transported to another world we get it. Anyways they get captured by Amphibia's residents who just so happened to be frogs cause they are unfamiliarly with humans.

Mega Man: And then they ended up becoming friends and well you probably know the rest.

Mario: During her time on Amphibia, Anne also learned some abilities from the Calamity Box but before that she learned a ton of martial arts.

Sonic: She wields a sword which is basically just your average sword.

Mega Man: But hey give her some credit at least she's skilled with it.

Mario: But Anne's full strength comes from the Calamity Box: The Calamity Gems. These magical stones grant Anne unlimited amounts of power allowing increases of power and speed, use fire, lightning, telekinesis, sense danger, create portals, and even transform into Calamity super forms.

Sonic: Ha. Eat your heart out, Goku. Anyway the Calamity Form allows her to fly and use all of her powers to increase.

Mega Man: So what is she like a Super Saiyan or something? How did she get this much power?

Mario: Okay so remember that box that teleported her and her friends earlier? Well that box was made to contain the 3 Calamity Gems created over 10,000 years ago a cosmic guardian to see how mortals would handle unlimited power so that they can be a worthy successor.

Sonic: So in other words Anne is sort of like a chosen one. And it seems that not just one person can weld the Calamity Gems 2 others can too as long as they get the one that fits their characteristics.

Mega Man: The green gem represents Wit which is like humanity and intelligence that one goes to one of her friends Marcy, the pink one belongs to her not so friend turned enemy turned true friend, Sasha which makes sense because her gem represents Strength cause you know most rivals look for strength. And lastly Anne's blue gen represents Heart which is your typical compassion and empathy. And once all 3 of them comes together Anne turns into knock off Ultra Instinct. Like Sonic said MAJOR Goku and Dragon Ball vibes here but because that state requires her to use the 2 other gems it most likely won't be part of her standard arsenal.

Mario: Even without all 3 of them combined each Calamity on they're own should still be completely equally powerful as the other and with it Anne is s force to be reckoned with.

Quick heads up: Anne in her Calamity state should be comparable to other beings like Sasha and Marcy in power.

Sonic: Like the time when she and her friends briefly were able to push back the Core.

Mario: Judging by the size of the Core and in comparison to the Trio's heights the force they needed to push something of that size would have to equal an energy of that size would have to be around 20 zettatons of TNT.

Mega Man: Holy shit that's insane amount of power right there.

Sonic: Yeah but they're also REALLY fast. Fast enough to dodge light speed lasers with complete ease.

Mega Man: I mean she can take several hits from powerful foes over and over again like this dude King Andrias.

Weaknesses
Calamity Form expires whenever she uses too much blue power, though she can rekindle it
The Calamity power is implied to be evil, so Anne won't use it unless herself, her friends, her family or her home are in danger
Susceptible to ranged attacks in base form, due to being more of a close range brawler herself
A little brash and headstrong sometimes, not a tactician and runs into battle when her friends are in danger

Mario: Unfortunately with great power comes great consequences. As powerful as she is in her Calamity form, Anne is completely limited by how much she can use it and it can only take her so far.

Sonic: And like most super forms, her Calamity will reach it's limit and her power will expire quick and turn her back to base form.

Mega Man: She's also pretty stubborn and impatient.

Mario: But despite starting off that way, Anne proved herself to be a selfless hero and sacrificed her life to save her friends.

Sonic: But don't worry because surprise surprise (not really) she is revealed.

Mega Man: Turns out this cosmic god wants her to be alive so she can be the next guardian of the universe once he retires.

Mario: But until then Anne will return home and live a normal and happy life alongside her two best friends forever.

Sonic: They even have a little get together 10 years later into the future. That's very sweet.

Mega Man: Well I guess when you start of a hating kid school, get transported into a world of talking frogs and toads, and be chosen by a freaking God, you're pretty much destined for greatness.

Mario: After a long journey Anne was eventually honored as a hero for both of her worlds.

Anne: The three of us have made our mistakes, but you are EVIL. And I'm gonna stop you, right here, right now!

Verdict

Mario: Alright the combatants are set.

Sonic: And we've run the data on all possibilities.

Mega Man: It's time for a DEATH BATTLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'

The Owl Calamity

In the middle of a forest Luz Noceda was seen taking practicing magic. Meanwhile Anne Boonchuy was seen walking by while briefing looking at what Luz is doing before continuing to walk away. However when she heard this thinking she's being stalked or watched Luz fires a light magic spell at Anne who nearly dodges it. Realizing her mistake Luz attempts to apologize.

Luz: Oops! Sorry my bad.

Anne: Uhh okay.

Anne continues walking however is nearly able to dodge light magic not once not twice but 3 times. Angered the hero of Amphibia turns to the human witch.

Anne: Hey what's the big idea?!

Luz got completely nervous as she tries to explain herself.

Luz: I-I I'm sorry I didn't mean to do that I swear! Seriously I didn't mean it!

An angry Anne then slowly starts to approach Luz who realizes the former doesn't believe her.

Luz: You don't believe me do you? (Sighs) Fine if that's how it's going let's do it.

Anne pulls out Tritonio's ancestral sword and charges at Luz who blocks it with her Owl Staff and the two clash and begin to exchange blows. After not landing a hit on each other Luz starts shooting out light magic at Anne who dodges and deflects it with her sword. The witch then uses the Owl Staff to fly and shoot out multiple Glyph magic spells at Anne who is shocked and at the same time impressed.

Anne (To herself): Whoa. This girl is amazing she might even give Sasha a run for her money.

Luz eventually gets a hit in as she lands on the ground.

Luz: I finally got you now it's time to turn up the heat!

Luz creates small pillars of fire at Anne surrounding her before jumping out of the way to spark an explosion. The explosion caused the pillar flames to explosion engulfing Anne. However much to Luz's surprise, Anne survives nearly unscratched with Calamity Hop.

Anne: You want to turn up the heat? Fine try this on for size!

Anne fires some Calamity Fire at Luz which the latter dodges she uses the Owlbert to fly.

Luz: (to herself) Her magic is so intense I doubt Amity could pull of something like that. No matter.

Luz uses vine magic to rap around preventing her from using her Calamity techniques.

Luz: Gotcha!

However Anne manages to break out of it using lightning zapping Luz in the process. The two continued to clash their magical abilities however Anne was able to get in close and throws some punches but Luz manages to knock her back with ice magic, Anne manages to recovers and uses telekinesis and fire and throws them at Luz. Realizing this is getting nowhere Luz realizes she needs to end the fight.

Luz: This is going nowhere, I'll have to end this now.

Luz uses fire magic shot at Anne and then uses a barrage of spells to completely overwhelm Anne as she starts screaming.

Luz: You are truly amazing but this is over.

However Luz was in for a shock that within the barrage of attacks was blue energy from the Calamity gem and thus a huge shockwave knocks Luz and Anne emerges in her complete Calamity form like a Super Saiyan. Surprised but still determined to win recovers but her now transformed foe didn't give her any time of day to attack as she sends her flying in the air firing blasts at her foe overwhelming her. Anne flies in the air to give her opponent a piece of advice.

Anne: You're not really bad but it's not enough to stop me! If you wanna win then come at me with all you got!

As she says this Anne fires a huge blast at Luz sending her flying to the ground. Luz recovers and realizing that Anne's right gets back up despite the heavy damage she's taken.

Luz: She's right.... She's too much for me... But even so any of my friends wouldn't give up...

The witch charges up all magic she has left.

Luz: So I won't either.

Luz uses the Owlbert to fly to Anne's location as the latter was looking for her. She notices Luz charging at her with light magic in her hands.

Luz: You said not to give up right?! Then be prepared because I'm COMING AT YOU WITJ EVERYTHING I'VE GOT!!

Anne: BRING IT ON!!

The two young terns charge at each other with fully charged attacks as they scream at the top of their lungs as they clashed their which resulted an a large explosion destroying the entire area they were fighting on. When the dust clears we see both combatants falling from the sky seemingly unconscious.

When they landed Anne back in her base form was the only one to wake up as her blast was able to finish off Luz. Anne takes a breath as she walks up to her now deceased foe.

Anne: Good fight... You truly are amazing.

Anne slowly walks away leaving the deceased Luz behind.

KO!

Results

(*Cues: Strongest Alive-again*)

Mega Man: Man we starting the final season of with a bang.

Sonic: Yeah but poor Luz though.

Mario: Yeah compared to Anne's unbelievable power output Luz clearly came up short as even dividing the moon feat by a third would still be FAR greater than any feat Luz has been able to do or scale to which is town level.

Quick heads up: While I did find an argument somewhere that Luz is planet level I couldn't find any evidence to back the claim up.

Mega Man: But to Luz's credit she does have several advantages of her own like how her Light spells move as fast as light considering most characters can dodge them Luz should be comparable. So as far as speed is concerned she should still keep up with Anne even in her strongest form.

Sonic: Not to mention she has a huge variety of magic she can use to keep Anne on her toes with some wicked magic techniques.

Mario: Unfortunately Luz would still need to create a circle within the glyph in order to use it, not to mention Anne has experienced battling foes with magical abilities like Luz before.

Mega Man: Plus Anne's Calamity Forms give her an increase in raw destructive power and much more range.

Sonic: Yeah so it wouldn't be hard for her to just simply overwhelm Luz, plus she has a fatal flaw she can't use her magic in the Human Realm and Anne can easily just open a portal and take the fight to a new location where Luz would be powerless.

Mario: Then again for wouldn't be hard for Luz to do the same with the Owlbert.

Mega Man: And we should probably say is that while both characters are around light speed it is still possible for Anne to be slightly faster, not to mention that Luz is pretty much powerless without her magic meanwhile Anne can do some martial arts even without the Calamity Gem.

Sonic: I mean I'm sure there are some ways Luz can win but more often than not Anne takes the vast majority.

Mario: Luz was definitely a worthy adversary but Anne's raw power, ranged abilities, and martial arts ultimately put an end to the human witch.

Mega Man: I guess you guys can say in the Anne, Luz's chances of winning where a big Calamity.

Sonic: Still poor Luz though.

Mario: The winner is Anne Boonchuy.
