Update on december 28th, 2020: HELLO BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE !! thank you so much for 518 followers!! i said when I hit 500, I was gonna post some head-cannons! So, here they are! :)

So for such a great accomplishment for all of us: here is my gift to you lovelies - head-cannons from Karma & friends!

I've honestly been dying to share these, so I hope you enjoy them as much as I do! <3

~

Karma:

-She loves cooking with Kurapika because it reminds her of the times she cooked with Chef (this one makes my heart go 'awe')

-She looks up to Leorio & Kurapika as her parents - both like dads, but some times Pika as her mom she never was able to have

-^Even sometimes she sees a little bit of Lyric within Kurapika, which makes her feel sorta bittersweet at times

-Karma is closer to Kurapika within the two parents. Why? Well, Pika connected with her for losing her family/not having one. He can emphasize with her, which brings them closer to one another

-She has a deep insecurity of how weak she is, & has a strong will to get stronger to protect the people she loves

-If Lyric was still alive & Chef had escaped - without Killua - they would've raised Karma as their daughter in a little house somewhere in the beautiful hillsides, away from danger

-Karma never went to school - due to being stuck in the Zoldyck mansion - so the other maids & Chef when she was younger taught her how to count, speak, read, & write

-She likes to help go shopping for foods with Leorio, because it means spending time with him & more time in the kitchen

-Her first role-model was Lyric & Chef for how strong they were being apart, & how hardworking they are. Now, Pika & Leorio are for the same exact reasons & more

-Every once in a while, Karma will remember Lyric & just start crying. She misses the girl she never officially got to meet, & that felt like a distant mother to her

-When Pika is gone for so long, she tends to get sad. A few months without her other parent gets a little sad - especially since she feels super close to Pika

-Sometimes when people are sick, ESPECIALLY Pika, poor Karma gets bad anxiety & flashbacks to Lyric

-^So when Pika is especially sick & comes home to rest, she stays by his bedside quietly & holds his hand to make sure he's still there

-^& it honestly makes her feel extra secures to know that Leorio is a doctor, so she knows that everyone is in good hands <3

Killua & Karma:

-Often they get into bickering fights over the silliest of things, & always end up smacking each other out of love at the end

-Killua often hoard. chocolate away from everyone, but most of the time he does have the heart to share with Karma...but he still has his times where he's fickle about it :0

-Karma always tries to steal Killua's clothing....but, gets caught in the act & scolded by the boy. He always winds up giving her whatever clothing she was wanting though

-Killua isn't much of a person of PDA, but he tries his hardest with Karma when she wants some affection in public - because deep down, he wants it too

-Eskimo kisses. Killua loves to give them, & hear the laugh out of Karma in the process of them. He adores it

-Linking pinkies is something they do when they feel it's not an appropriate time or something else occurs, it's always comforting to the both to know the other is there

-They both tend to chase each other the apartment, making a mess of everything, which Karma always winds up giving up & cleaning the mess

-When talking about Killua's family & he's looking down, Karma always tries to do funny impressions of them to try to cheer him up. Which, a lot of the time it does & he chimes in (there main go-to is making fun of Milluki's waifu statue shrine/hoard, or Illumi's peculiar disgust against pickles)

-Killua LOVES being taller than Karma. Using her as an arm rest is his favorite thing, watching her short-self get frustrated at him

-When it's cold & wet outside or Karma is super exhausted, Killua makes sure to give her a piggyback ride

-Whenever Karma gets sad or cries about missing Chef &/or Lyric, he always holds her close to him & whispers comforting things - it breaks his heart to see her cry (sometimes he cried as well, but most of the time he tries to stay strong for her,,,)

-When no ones watching or paying attention to the two of them, they sneak onto the roof of the apartment to stargaze & talk for a bit

Leorio:

-Leorio has a special place for Karma in his heart. He was very awkward around her the first few months they all moved in together, but quickly started getting comfy around her

-Sadly, he's the main person to fuck up & say something that'll upset Karma. For example, he'll make a joke about a Chef, or bring up something maid related, & she'll get in the blues for a few minutes

-He ABSOLUTELY spoils Karma. Leorio tries to act like he doesn't & tries to act money stingy, but in his heart Karma is his little princess he wants to protect

-Leorio has a very strong connection with Gon as well - they're very similar & look alike on many accounts, so he can't help but see him as his own

-When he tries to have a relationship with Killua, it always ends up with them fist-fighting &/or bickering. What's funny is that Leorio doesn't mind the fights, because he knows deep down that's Killua's love language

-Whenever someone is down, his first thing is to offer up to pay for ice cream at the ice cream parlor in York New

-Leorio is the main care taker of the three kids while Kurapika is out on missions

-^Which means he does most of the shopping for food & going downtown with the kiddos to sneak some treats or just to run errands

-A lot of the time while he's home though he has to study for his doctor exams - he wants to become a doctor to help people & his family after all <3

-^This leads to Leorio taking care of EVERYONE when they're sick, because he knows of the best medicine & how to cure sickness, injuries, & more

-For a while Leorio disagreed with Karma helping in the kitchen since most of her life she worked, & not wanting to upset her with old memories...but after he saw how much joy it brought her to cook with Pika or to help him out, he always makes sure to offer it out to her now

-He leaves for doctor exams once a month a few hours away from York New for about three days (a day to get there by a slow train, a day to take the exam, & a day to get back at night) - which makes him nervous for the kids (even though they're sixteen) because Pika isn't there for most of the time

Kurapika:

-Pika tends to go out on missions a lot, so he brings back little presents for his family (ex: he brings Karma small jewelry items & animal keychains, Gon & Killua get chocolates, & Leorio gets this lovely handwritten letters from him)

-Whenever someone needs advice, Pika is always the first person anyone goes to in the apartment

-He tends to brush Karma's hair when he's feeling sad, or when she really wants to. He also loves to french braid it, especially because Karma always has an excited response to his beautiful braid he makes :)

-Kurapika tends to sleep a lot due to the long nights he's out on missions & the many days in a row he's out. He tends not to be able to sleep on missions, & gets easily overworked

-^But he gets to rest when he's home, & always has Leorio staying beside him to make sure he's not getting sick & getting his rest

-He tends to wear more laid back attire or somewhat laid-back business attire instead of his clans clothing

-Pika has a bad habit of not being in touch. There's been times he's been gone for months, & there was no word from him

-^But he tries his hardest to, but sometimes he fails depending on his mood, how tired, sick, what type of job is happening, & more. A lot of the time he calls home to talk to Leorio to check in on everyone, & occasionally sends handwritten letters to them

-When it's just Pika & the kids, they tend to go get coffee (well, Gon gets coco), play board games & puzzles, & cook/bake different foods

-Tends to be more of the calm & collected parent, while Leorio is a more sarcastic & hotheaded - they make the perfect parenting duo

Gon, Killua, & Karma:

-They always play video games together, especially late into the night. Only problem is is that one of the two - Karma or Gon - falls asleep later into the night.

-^but Killua always makes sure to watch over them when this happens, even giving whoever falls asleep a blanket & a pillow. Always 100% of the time he just let's Karma lay her head on his lap while she sleeps, & he continues playing

-The three of them always try to play tricks on Leorio while he's trying to study...which, ends up in a mess because he usually falls for it (hey, it's not their fault he fell for the whole "bucket on top of a door" trick!)

-^but this ends up in them getting scolded by Kurapika, in which the three of them have to apologize to both Leorio & Pika & clean up the mess (but this doesn't stop them from pranking them later on - kids never learn:-)

-Sometimes they have sleepovers in Killua & Karma's room & stay up watching stuff on Gon's Beetle-pad (usually slime, random youtube gameplays, & other random chaos crap they can find) playing video games, & snacking on chocolates that Killua graciously shared with the other two :)

-^Yes, Killua tends to start the pillow fight & they all turn it into a competition...which, winds up getting loud & destructive...leading to Leorio whisper chastising them about how he needs to study & Pika badly needs his rest from his jobs

-When one of the kids starts singing a song, the other starts...& then the next one...until all of them are loudly singing out of tune & some times out of sync, laughter entangled into it, while Leorio is trying to cancel out the noise with a pillow. Kurapika on the other hand finds joy in the "unique" music they create:-)

-Most of the time when going places, they make a bet who can make it there faster by racing. It's usually Killua who wins, & as quoted by Karma, because of his "assassin legs"

-They love to go outside when it's raining. They love to splash puddles & jump in them to get the other wet, they even find enjoyment in slipping in them & laughing at the other when they slip & fall. Sometimes they even dance, yelling random words or songs at the top of their lungs. The three of them always do this outside the apartment, which Leorio & Pika watch in amusement from inside

Currently I'm still sick (I get bad colds:,( & it's my little sisters birthday, so I'm gonna try updating sometime tomorrow or later! I hope you all are having a wonderful day/night!
