Mitsuba smiled excitedly as he walked with Kou into the forest, clutching his camera tight. He was incredibly excited, and for good reason. Mitsuba knew that he had never been able to just relax with Kou since he'd developed the crush, so he had to take advantage of this opportunity. Sure, one of the reasons actually was that he needed pictures of Kou for his portfolio in Photography class, but at this point, taking pictures of Kou was all the motivation that Mitsuba needed. He carefully stepped over different sticks, leading the way, with Kou behind him...no pressure. Mitsuba froze in surprise as he tripped over a rock, nearly falling into the ground. However, Kou grabbed his arm, hauling him back up. "Careful!" Kou chuckled, a happy smile on his face. Mitsuba froze, a blush coloring his face, before he nodded, standing up and brushing his camera and clothes off. "Um, yeah...I will. Thanks." Mitsuba smiled awkwardly as Kou began to lead the way, hopping easily over different logs and sticks. So agile and pretty...agh, he had to focus. But Kou looked so agile..Mitsuba knew he did the Parkour club, but he didn't know what they did, meaning Kou practically looked amazing, just like Robin Hood.

As they arrived at the clearing, Mitsuba smiled excitedly. He was absolutely going to win that contest, no matter what. He paused, thinking, before taking a long stick nearby, handing it to him after a short struggle. "Here, Kou. Pose with this, like a warrior or wizard." Kou smiled happily, quickly obliging and striking a pose. Mitsuba slowly walked around him, snapping different little pictures of Kou, each coming out perfect. Well, if the subject was perfect, then....of course the photos might turn out great as well. Mitsuba focused in on Kou's expression, before instructing him to look more daring, adventurous. Kou had been laughing happily throughout it all, slowly striking different poses, excitement flowing through his veins. Mitsuba struck different little poses, one even being the very warrior pose he'd asked Kou to imitate. The poses were all perfect, and once the two were finished, they both sat down, looking at the photos.

The first photo depicted Kou, standing heroically. Seeing as it was his first time, it looked a bit odd, an arm moved slightly in the wrong direction, the hold on the sword wobbly, but it was an amazing first photo for Mitsuba. Usually when Mitsuba was working on getting photos, they turned out a bit odd, usually taking multiple tries before working. Mitsuba frowned a little at the photo, but still instantly admired just how Kou was standing in the sunlight, an excited expression, limbs outstretched....he really looked amazing. Mitsuba internally screamed at himself, thinking Why are you stuck on that?! The only reason you asked was because you needed a subject! Even if deep down, he didn't care at all, even thinking Kou looked beautiful. Kou smiled excitedly at seeing the first photo as well, skimming through it, before chuckling, nudging Mitsuba. "So, can the world class photographer explain to me what this photo does well?" Despite his teasing tone, the interest in Kou's voice was obvious, watching and examining the photo best he could. He scanned his arms and legs, wondering how Mitsuba had managed to capture something like this- and on the first try. Mitsuba noticed the awe and fascination in Kou's voice, and smiling softly at him, nudging him "Well, the lighting is really good. See, the spotlight goes..." As Mitsuba chatted, the two went through the photos, with a simple and carefree view between the two. As Mitsuba talked, he couldn't help but be amazed, just by Kou himself.
