Its Thursday. The day before my big show. Travis and I have been messaging each other on instagram. It's new and exciting. All of the photos of Brittany, Jason and Kylie have been on instagram and just keep going. Everyday there is a new one i haven't seen.

But that's besides the point. I'm at rehearsal trying to pick an opening song, i know the rest of my songs but the opening one, im debating on, She's all i wanna be, Wide awake, or No tears left to cry. I think i'm going to do Wide awake. I'm ending the night with Nonsense so i can do a fun outro.

My favorite backup dances are here helping me with the dance moves. Karter, Tracy, Dakota, Spencer, Norah and Aria. My favorite girls.

In the middle of the dance my mom walks in.

"Momma!" I yell running to her.

"How's my sweet girl?" She asks hugging me.

"I'm doing just fine, and you?" I say smiling as i leave her hug.

"Amazing, i got a ticket for your show tomorrow."

"Thanks mom, 15,000 people are gonna be there. I know it doesn't seem like a lot but it is for me." I say getting nervous.

"And you'll do amazing in front of all those people sweetheart." She says holding my hand.

I love my mom. She's been my number one. Ever sense dad left when i was around 7 she's made sure i got the life i deserved. She put me in dance and singing lessons. She let me join choir and came to every concert. She's just always been there for me.

She first got me into music by playing the Beatles. The first song i ever heard was Dear Prudence. That's what started my love for music and singing.

"Thank you momma." I said before kissing her cheek.

She smiled and let go of my hand.

"Want to go eat?" She asked.

I looked at the girls and they all nodded.

"Of course, bye girls." I said grabbing my purse.

We walked out of the studio and to her car. She drove us to 25 Degrees.

I know i'm all sweaty and gross but it's for my mom so whatever right. I ordered a water and she got a rootbeer.

"So i saw pictures of you at the chiefs game." Here it goes.

"Yeah i went with Brittany to support Patrick." I say smiling.

"No other reason?" She says lifting an eyebrow slightly.

"Nope." I say sipping my water.

"Well that Travis guy sure noticed you." I started choking on my water.

"Mom, what?" I say wiping the water.

"On tiktok he was mic'd up or whatever and he said you look beautiful." She said that and it made me blush.

Next day

It's Friday. The day of the show.

I decided to open with Wide awake. I walked on stage and practiced.

I'm going to pop out from the back after third second "I'm wide awake." I'm going to be wearing a green crop top with a black sparkly skirt with tall green heeled boots. It's gonna look great.

I gotta curl my hair first though. My hair and makeup girl, Amber is going to do everything. She's amazing at what she does.

I walked back to the dressing room and was met up with Brittany.

"Brittany!" I said hugging her.

"Hey Y/n, can't wait to see you perform. Less than 2 hours!" She says excitedly.

"I'm so ready! It's gonna be amazing." I say smiling bright.

"Well we got a vip thing so we'll be on the sides." She says winking.

"Your terrible." I say jokingly.

"I'll see you after the show." I say hugging her again.

She leaves and by that time Amber walks in.

"Ready?"

"So ready." I say nodding.

hour later

I'm all dressed, hair and makeup done. Just going over the last steps to the dance. I'm practicing singing so i'm ready.

"Y/n they want you out there in 10." I freeze.

"10? i have an hour." I say nervously.

"They bumped it sorry."

I shake my hands, I rub my pinky and my thumb trying to calm me down. Just keep practicing. Thats what i'm telling myself.

As i'm practicing someone grabs me and brings me to the back of the stage. I can hear everyone yelling and screaming. Then the lights went dark.

"You got this." I Whisper to myself.

"I'm wide awake." I sing into the mic to the music.

I hear everyone go crazy.

"I'm wide awake." I say one last time on its own.

"I'm wide awake, Yeah I was in the dark I was falling hard, With an open heart." I sing coming out to the stage from the back.

As i look out everyone is going crazy. Crying, yelling, screaming, singing everything. I smile and get into it.

Karter comes to my left and Dakota to my left. We do our routine like it's supposed to be done. Nailed it.

...

"I'm wide awake." I say one last time into the mic before the song ends. The song went perfectly.

"How are we tonight ?" I say into the mic smiling.

I can hear everyone scream and scream and scream. When i look around i notice, Travis, Jason, Kylie, Patrick, Brittany, my mom and another lady in the vip tent thing. I smile at them then return to my singing.

"I hope you enjoy this next song." I say turning back.

God is a woman start's playing. Everyone starts yelling and as soon as i start singing so does everyone else.

This show is going to be amazing.

Last song

I start singing the last lyrics to nonsense for the end of the show.

"How quickly can you take your clothes off pop quiz? I went to the chiefs game it was madness. You all saw me i'm a bad bitch. I think Travis Kelce is the hottest." I sang slightly blushing.

As the music came to and end i wanted to say goodbye.

"Thank you so much for letting me play here tonight!! All 15,000 of you have changed my life, i hope whenever i play you will always show up even if there's only 5 of you. Love you all!" I said running off stage.

As i got to the changing room everyone had goofy grins.

"SERIOUSLY!?!?" Tracy says.

"What?" I say to play dumb.

"I think Travis Kelce is the hottest? COME ON Y/N." I giggle not knowing what to say.

As she was about to say something someone knocked on the door.

Jason and Kylie peeked in.

"Come on in." I say smiling.

Jason, Kylie, Patrick, Brittany, Travis, my mom, and the other lady came in. Tracy, Dakota, Amber and Norah left.

"Hey guys." I say smiling.

"You did amazing." Kylie said.

"Oh thank you." I say smirking.

I started talking to Jason and Kylie but every now and then i would glimpse at Travis.

Soon Jason said him and Kylie had to go so i gave them a hug and thanked them for coming. Patrick and Brittany came up and hugged me next.

"Oh my god you looked amazing out there." Brittany says giggling.

"Thanks Britt." I say giggling too. "Thank you guys for coming, i really appreciate it."

"Of course." Patrick said hugging me one last time.

My mom came over hugged me very tight and we started talking. I felt bad for making Travis wait.

Soon enough mom stopped talking.

"Love you mom." I say hugging her.

"Love you more." She says letting go.

Soon enough i'm face to face with Travis.

"Hi." I say blushing.

"Hey." He says brightly smiling.

This is either gonna be awkward or totally normal.
