Abstinance

I sluggishly walked around the apartment, the thick black blanket acting as a hooded cape. "Ricky?" I called "yeah." He ran up from down stairs his pale arms poking out of the sleeveless shirt. "I feel like shit." I admitted. "Come here." he walked towards me lifting my body from the ground. "Stay in bed, if you need anything I'll get it for you." he told me placing me under the covers.

"You should probably eat something" he said looking at his watch. "soup sounds good." I pulled the blankets up to my face. "creamy tomato and a grilled cheese?" He offered. I nodded before flipping on my side. "alright take it easy babe." He kissed my forehead before walking out.

A few minutes later he ran my ringing phone in followed my food. "hello?" Allies perky voice echoes as I sat the phone down to sit up. "How are you?" She questioned. "I feel sick and hung over at the same time." I dunked the torn piece of sandwich in the hot red liquid. "I'm sorry that really sucks. Do you need anything?" She asked.

"Na Ricky's taking care of me, I think he's working out right now." I guessed by his apparel. "Probably, well I just wanted to check on you. I'll text you me and Ryan are in Denny's." she said. "okay, bye Allie." I waited for her good bye before hanging up.

I scrolled through the mindless posts of Facebook friends until Ricky came in. "wanna watch a movie?" He asked towel barely hanging on his hip bones. "sure." I agreed. He pulled on a shirt and pair of boxers before sliding in.

He placed his arm around me and navigated through the options on Netflix. "Blair Witch Project?" He turned his head towards me and I nodded. The remote flew down to the foot of the bed before a cat covered my feet.

"I'm so happy and proud your facing this before it got any worse." he kissed my forehead. "Well I never want to loose you." I wrapped my arm around his waist. "you're never gonna." he pulled me closer and I rested my head on his chest.
