{A weak Recap: Taehyung kidnapped you( sorta ) and then confessed, you said no. Taehyung goes back to his home, Jimin shows up and invites to join him somewhere. Taehyung suddenly shows up.}

Lisa only wanted one thing after a long eventful day. And that was to rest quietly and in peace. She had the whole house to herself after you and Jimin left. So it only made sense that she'd sit back and get some shut eye. But that idea went out the window when the door bell rang. And who does she find standing at the other side of the door?

The man who made her best friend feel like crap.

If only her conscious permitted her to voice out her thoughts, she'd already be spurting rainbows and butterflies.

And not the good ones.

"I swear if you weren't Jin's brother I would have slammed the door at your face. What do you need?"

"Y/n." He answers monotonously. "Is she here?"

"And what if she is? Do you think I'll fetch her for you? Dude, she tried to reach you but you never pick up. What makes you think you have the right to show up looking for her now?"

"I have every right."

Lisa let's out a sigh, poking the inside of her cheek. That's not the answer she was looking for. Not even close. As a matter of fact, downright ridiculous.

But the persistence in his eyes is adamant. And he did come all the way back here from home. That alone should prove his determination to reconcile things with you right?

Should she act as the bridge that leads him to you?

Or act as a troll that denies him access?

Although the end of this path's unclear, Lisa knows how important Taehyung is to you.

As much as she'd want to give him a strong punch across the face for making you wait for god knows how long, she'll have to keep calm.

Then again, it's not like it's his fault alone.

None of this would have happened had you just come clean and told the guy you liked him too.

The both of you equally are to blame for all these.

"Fine." Almost reluctantly, she pulls out her phone. "There's this new aquarium park or whatever. Here's the location. Just don't tell her I told you."

A museum.

Where they display every weird looking, extinct fishes. The building resembles a dome, colossal in size and in a sense, dramatic.

The place's dim in all areas aside from light illuminating said creatures confined between cube clear glass. A lot is being displayed, all shape and sizes. Some pleasing to the eye while others, hair raising.

If we were gazing at live fishes swimming with beating hearts a while ago, it's different now.

While glaring at each unusual sea creature that ever existed, you failed to notice you were walking further away from Jimin and Taehyung.

But who cares about that.

You're just glad none of these creatures exist today.

Someone joins your staring contest and you don't need to look to know who it is. Silence engulfs the gap between your for a minute before you decide to say something. Although the atmosphere's mellow, there's a ticking time bomb just ready to explode.

"You're back uh?" It's a statement that holds a bitter significance underneath. He left and ignored you.

But who could you blame for that? No on but yourself.

Taehyung considers that, crossing his arms and inclining his head slowly. "Yeah. My initial plan was to surprise you. But I guess I was the one who ended up surprised."

Humming, you walk away to search for Jimin. He's got to be here somewhere.

"Are you ignoring me?"

Your eyes shift, almost baffled and confused. "No? I'm going to look for Jimin."

You should have known that, that statement alone would trigger that ticking time bomb. Just then, a heavy tension begins to rise in between.

Something in his face twists. You observe as his lips curl inward, contemplating what to say next. If you look closely, you might see his pupils vibrating. "Jimin? Why?"

Why?

"He brought me here. Only makes sense that I look for him." Is your response.

As if realization had clicked within Taehyung like a switch, he uncoils his clenching fist and nods slowly. "Oh I get it." He says raspily, a look of indifference settling all over his features.  The tension only seems to heighten from here on onwards. "You're avoiding me."

You deny it. "Of course not. As if I'd have a reason to."

"Then stay. " He tells you. "Don't look for him. I'm curious if you'll end up swallowing your own words."

Is he for real?

When he showed up out of the blue, neutral and unbothered as if he hadn't disappeared from the face of the earth for almost a month, you decided it was okay to act the same.

So when he was all chatty with Jimin, you took a few step back and remained neutral.

It made you feel like the third wheel who's sole existence was to make sure they didn't do anything stupid.

You release a heavy sigh. This conversation's going nowhere. "I don't have time to bicker with you."

Taehyung scoffs but what he says next, couldn't be farther from the truth.

"I see that's how it goes then uh. Just a reminder though Y/n, you rejected me first."

"You guys should really check out the gift shop. They've got all sorts of- did I miss something?"

"Tae-"

"No, no. I get it. I'm a nausea." He intercepts easily, pulling his sleeve back to check the time. "I just remember I have to be some place else. I'll let you and Jimin go on with your day. Forget I even showed up yeah?" And with that said, he walks away.

"I definitely missed something didn't I?" Jimin switches gazes between you and Taehyung walking away, eyes flashed with confusion. He scratches the back of his head, taking a few steps back to decipher the situation.

You on the other hand, can't help but tell yourself.

You screwed up again didn't you?

(A/n)
- hello. Yes, I know it's been 1927282972 years since I last updated. It's just that, I finally started college and have been busy with a bunch of school work recently. Even as I write this, it's the last day of mid terms exam. Lol. Don't worry though. I'll try my best to update. I'm not planning to abandon this story any time soon.
Take care.
