Chapter ten

"And cut. That's a wrap everybody. We are officially done." The director says.

And just like that her official vacations begin. Their last set is, ironically, on his factory. So both Poyraz and also Ada are there.

"See y'all tonight for our farewell party." Haziran says and people cheer.

"But you aren't leaving yet right?" Ada, who's next to her, asks her.

"No little bug. I'm staying till further notice." Haziran didn't want to tell Ada the duration of her staying in case something comes up.

"Yay!" It's her turn to cheer. "You can take me home now daddy." She tells him adorably.

"Huh? That was easy..." Poyraz says surprised.

"She's clearly up to something." Haziran adds and tickles her.

"No, I just want to be a good kid." Ada says in the midst of her laughing.

"Definitely up to something." Poyraz says and throws the kid on his shoulder to get her to his car.

Later she goes to the hotel to deal with the final payments. That will be her last stop concerned her business here. After that she'll go on her vacation mode.

"Ms. Haziran." Burak greets her from the reception desk.

"Hello again. Is anyone around to get my money so I can relax?" She says joyfully.

"I'm here if you are interested." Poyraz saying coming out from the back office.

"Mr. Ozgur. I am here for your final payment." She says and he steps away, showing the way with his hand.

Once she's hidden behind the wall he grabs her and spins her so she can face him. She lets out a small yelp that she tries to stop.

"We are not alone." She says as he kisses the spot where her jaw line and neck meet.

"And you are here for a professional reason." He clears his throat and steps away. "Please be sited as far away from me as possible." He says and laughs.

Not even ten minutes later she had settled all the economic issues and she's on the phone with her boss.

"Everything went smoothly." She says and as per usual she walks around. She's at the hammock area as she calls it. The place in the hotel's garden where instead of chairs there are hammocks. She finds one that's vacant and lies there as her boss goes on and on.

"No the crew will leave tomorrow. As well the models and actors with some exceptions." She closes her eyes soaking in the sun that hits her face.

"Yes sir. Everything is tide and in control. Thank you so much. See you in two months." She says and closes the phone, leaving out a sigh of relief.

"Two months huh?" She feels a shade covering the sun before she hears his voice. Removing her sunglasses she sees Poyraz hovering over her before he kneels down.

"Like you had no idea about it." She jokes as he starts swinging the hammock.

"So now you are free to do whatever you want..." his free hand trails lightly her leg over the light fabric she was wearing.

"Yes. I am as free as a butterfly." She says and shivers under his touch even though her skin is on fire because of the sun.

"So are you free tomorrow night? I promised a date that's far due I think." To anyone who's watching them it would seem like they are just talking.

"I have to check my schedule. You are not the only one interested in my company." She jokes but his eyes get serious and he stops his movements.

"As in...?" He asks trying to play it cool.

"My aunt wants me to go to her house in an attempt to fix a doomed mother-daughter relationship." She says with playful eyes and he throws his head down with a chuckle.

"Funny, so funny." He says.

"It's not like I stayed here for you or something." She continues teasing him and he falls for it.

During the past weeks they had talked on how this may work. Poyraz even mentioned once that if they see that this has prospects for something serious he could move with Ada to Istanbul. This was the last year in the kindergarten and she was bound to change schools.

"OK that was funny but stop it." He says clearly taken back by her words.

"Oh my god, look at you being jealous." She says enjoying it to the fullest.

"Just..." He says but then he lifts his eyes. And they land on his dad walking to his hotel with Zeynep by his side.

"What?" She asks still in a happy mood only to turn her head to see what he was seeing.

"I can't believe this." He says and goes to them.

"Wait. Poyraz." Haziran says and runs after him not knowing exactly what she'll do next.

"Why are you here again?" He asks with furious eyes looking at his father. "No, let me ask again. What are you doing in my property?"

"I didn't know this place belonged to you. Last time I was here it was..." Selim says.

"Well now you do so take your lady and walk out of here." Haziran gets to them when he said the word 'lady' with the most bitter tone.

"Let it go please. They will leave and that's that." She says grabbing his hand.

"Mom, get out of here now." She turns to Zeynep whose face is unreadable.

"She's your daughter? You didn't mention her or that she is with my son." Selim says.

"Just because they are just coworkers. And nothing more." Zeynep says and looks at Haziran with meaning.

"Look at you two finding common ground on how great of parents you both are. Or how well you know your kids. Can you do it somewhere else thought?" Haziran does all the talking. Poyraz just growls at this point.

"If you are not out of here when I return..." Poyraz finally says.

"I don't need to see anything else here." Selim says to Zeynep and they turn to walk away.

"Poyraz..." Haziran starts saying but he stops her.

"Control your mother." It's all he says. He breaks free from her hold and vanishes inside the building.

Her current location is the farewell party and most specific the beach by the hotel. She's sitting all alone hearing the small waves crashing on the soft sand. It's weird how all this time she never truly jumped into the sea but the sound of the water calms her like nothing else.

"I have to admit that I will miss everyone." Alper tells her and offers her a beer.

"Don't lie to yourself man, you'll miss the extra money..." Haziran says with a laugh.

"Yes ok that as well." He says and sits next to her. "Why are you here though?" he asks and she just sips her beer without answering.

"Ok, we don't feel like talking. I respect that, my best friend is like a wall when he's antisocial." Alper says making Haziran smirk.

"Your best friend sometimes is like a wall. Period. No need to add anything else." She shrugs. She's been trying to get in touch with him the whole afternoon. By the never picked up his phone.

"Ahh that's the issue. Don't be hard on him girl. When he's moody no one can get to him." He tries to console her.

"It wasn't my fault Alper. It's not like I invited his dad back here. I barely spoke to the man when he showed up on my doorstep a while back." she says raising her voice.

"I know, believe me. But this issue isn't something that he handles well. He doesn't handle it at all if you ask me."

"And that means that he gets to blame me?" She asks feeling more and more vulnerable by the moment.

That's when drunken people who sing god knows what appear at the beach. "Haziran!!!!" One of them screams and she politely waves her hand as hello.

"Anyway I'll be somewhere around the hotel. Thanks for the beer." She says and she leaves Alper at the beach.

"Have you seen?" Biricik asks her when they meet at the hotel's garden.

"He's at the beach." Haziran says immediately knowing who her friend is looking for.

"Hey. Are you ok?" Biricik asks.

"Yes, nothing that can't be solved babe. Go find him." She says with a small smile and Biricik rubs her arm.

"I'm here ok? Whatever it is just call. I came here for you if you remember it." She winks and runs at the beach.

She finds herself back on the same hammock she was this morning.

Poyraz was no show this whole time. And neither Alper nor Melissa knew where he was. She came to peace with the fact that he won't show up.

And then she hears a girl saying his name. She turns her head to see the unfamiliar to her girl and Poyraz smiling at her? She's hugging him and he seems fine with that. And on the top of all that? She keeps her hand on his biceps the whole time they talk.

"And now we welcome the green eye monster." Melissa says, suddenly next to her.

"I won't call him a monster yet but watch me if he won't stop this soon." Haziran says not taking her eyes away from the duo in front of her.

"I wasn't talking about him Haz. You are the green eye monster. It's called jealousy my friend, in case you haven't felt that before." Melissa says and chuckles.

"Me?" She says and turns to look at her friend at last. "Jealous? No I am not." She continues but her cheeks are becoming redder and redder.

"Ok. So her name is Meryem, she used to live here when we were in high school. They were pretty close with Poyraz but he never said if they were dating or not. She's here for vacations. Anyway, since you are not jealous you wouldn't care about all that." The girl says and walks away.

Haziran doesn't know if jealousy has green or red color but she's sure as hell that she won't let this Meryem keep touching HER Poyraz like that.

She strands there with a newfound confidence.

"Poyraz?" She says and he turns to her. Warm eyes are looking at her again and she feels calmer.

"Hey you. I was about to look for you but I met some familiar faces." He says. He looks at the girl but his arm is around her waist.

"Can we talk?" She whispers to his ear and his eyes are asking her if she's ok.

"Just for five minutes." She continues and he nods.

They go to the room that was used till today as dressing room. He walks in first but before he has the chance to ask what's happening she's gluing him to the door.

"Listen to me very well Poyraz Ali Ozgur! I don't know who this Maryam..."

"Meryem." He corrects her and that makes her blood boil even more.

"I said that I don't know who she was to you but now she doesn't have the authority to touch you, got it?"

He smirks and she wants to smack it away, or kiss it. She's not sure right now. Poyraz remains silent. He just looks at her.

"Hello???" She pushes his chest with her palms to get an answer out of him but instead he removes a strand of hair that got stuck on her lipstick. She's about to protest again but then his lips are on hers.

He lifts her up and spins them around, so now she's pinned against the door with her legs wrapped around his hips.

He breaks the kiss as his lips are now on her neck. She buries one of her hands on his hair while the other grips on his shoulder.

"For the record," she says panting "I wasn't jealous." She says and brings his face back so she can kiss him again.

"Haziran you take this cup. Daddy will take the less pretty one." Ada says.

She loved the castle Haziran got for her so much that she's trying to find a way to fit it inside the house once winter comes. So now they are here drinking cold lemonade and Ada "serves" her tea (which in reality is water).

"Of course daddy takes the messy one..." Poyraz says as he joins the girls who are sitting on the grass. "And not because Haziran will get jealous." He laughs and Haziran throws him the water that was inside the plastic cup she was holding.
