" I'm so sorry you had to see me this way. I'm just hurt." May said to him . Her head still buried in his neck. He took a hold of her fingers in his and entwined it before he said.

    " It's okay tesoro. Don't cry anymore. They don't deserve your tears." He said gently . Brushing stray strands of hair away from her face.

      For a few moments , they were silent. Each other drowning in their own thoughts. Reece wondered how easy she grabbed his attention. He wondered how he was able to hold her in his arms and not feel repulsed by the tingling feeling he gets whenever he feels her skin.

      When blue's mother took off, he just couldn't digest the sight of another woman. He felt irritated whenever any woman would touch him. But look at him now. He was seated in this beautiful woman's home  cuddling with her and trying so hard to take her sorrow away and lock it up somewhere.

       What a strong feeling. He had never experienced such a thing before. He always had to put up a cold facade at work and every other place in order not to be taken advantage of once more but this woman took that coldness away with just one look.

       At that moment though he made a promise to himself to only show his real self to May and blue.

  At this point , may had exhausted her tears. She wouldn't cry no more. Instead she concentrated on the feel of his rock hard body beneath hers. She wondered where he had been all this time. With just a hug and without him saying much, he took her pain away and made her forget about her problems.

   
      " I found them sleeping together on a very important day of my life. Couldn't they at least wait to have gotten home? The idiot couldn't even find someone a little bit closer to his age ? He just had to find my slut of a mother to cheat on me with. And to top it all off that woman claims to not be my mother. I'm just so tired of everything."ay let out a sigh after her little rant.

      " Don't give them the pleasure of knowing your hurt by their actions. The more you act like what they did  doesn't bother the more you find out that it actually doesn't bother you anymore. Don't let them take away your beautiful smile and those big bright eyes that shine. Always remember that my life , no , everyone you love lives won't sparkle and glow unless you do."

    May was in awe and just stared at him for some time before she quietly whispered

    
       " Where have you been all my life?"

    " Waiting. Just waiting for the right time ."

  
     Just then, blue walks into the room with fluff following quietly behind rubbing both his eyes and yawning. A signal indicating his tiredness. He walked over to them and climbed the couch they were seated on. He found his way in between them and layed down. His head was on Mays bossom once again with each of his arms around their neck. Fluff had come to lie by Reece's feet.

       Soon enough, they had all fallen asleep on that couch in the living room.

   Meanwhile ,down below  in the lobby stood a woman dressed suspiciously with the aim to not be recognized.

      She was seething. Anger so hot her face shone a bright red with her hands shaking at her sides. Not being able to hold it in any longer ,she let out a scream. One so loud that it drew the unwanted attention of every one in the lobby.

       Embarrassed she walked out of the building and into the chill air of New York. She walked to her car and got in. Setting down her shades, scarf and purse, she hit her head repeatedly on the steering wheel before letting out yet another scream.

     The height of her rage. How dare they walk in there looking like on happy family she thought.

       She was going to destroy them. She was going to shred her to pieces. She was insane. The sight of them looking so happy and her taking what she claimed to be hers made her even crazier.

       She hated them. She needed help. She needed people who shared the same amount of hate that she held for them. But first , she needed to watch them from a distance to find an opening before she strikes. Even though it hurts her.

∆∆∆∆

    Some hours later, Reece had woken up but was watching blue and May sleep.  He thought the sight was beautiful. Blue had moved  completely on top of May with one arm around her neck and the other one almost disappearing into her shirt.

      Reece checked the time on his Rolex and  stood up gently to place may and blue back to sleep. He stretched his muscles and decided to prepare something. Fluff had woken up and followed Reece into the kitchen to prepare Mac and cheese for them when the others woke up.

     May was woken up by the aroma coming the kitchen before  she looked down and smiled at blues sleeping form. She gently readjusted blue and stood before she walked into the kitchen.  She saw Reece petting fluff on the head .

        "Hi" she said quietly rubbing the sleep away from her eyes.

     " Hey . Are you okay? Are your arms fine? I could hold blue if you want."

      " I'm fine. I love holding him. I should be asking you if you're okay cause you had to hold us for a long time."
      

     " Come sit down so I can serve your food. You need all the strength you can get."

   
      When Reece was dishing  their food into plates, blue had woken up but still clung to May tightly.

     He served their food and sat beside she and his son . May fed blue from her plate while also eating. They ate and soon enough they had to go back home. She kissed both of them goodbye on their cheeks before going to bed with fluff as her cuddle baby.

   Only that man could make Mac and cheese taste so good.
