Kai POV

I step into the arena to see Tokoyami waiting on me. I ready myself when he rushes at me. I jump back as his shadow brings down its claws on me. Its lower half then takes out my feet; I roll to avoid from getting hit by its claws. 

I look over my shoulder and push myself backwards to avoid the shadow. I roll and flip to my feet before running towards Tokoyami. I deliver a right hook but he just jumps back dodging it. I grit my teeth before slightly boosting my speed.

I then deliver a quick series of jabs and strikes which Tokoyami has trouble dodging. I take out his legs and bring my foot down on him. His shadow rushes in and punches me away. I slide to a stop then run left as Tokoyami's shadow attempts to crush me. 

I test myself further my boosting my arms and legs. I jump towards Tokoyami and punch the ground causing a wave of debris to be launched towards him. His shadow punches the debris away which gives me an opening. I quickly rush in and divert all of my boost to my fist. I send into Tokoyami's stomach which sends him landing on the ground outside the ring.

Midnight: "Tokoyami is out of bounds, Kai advances to the final round."

I relax and head to get ready to rest. After taking a short break I step into the arena to see that my final opponent is Bakugo.

Present Mic: "Welcome to the final battle of the UA high school sports festival. In just a moment here we'll see which first year student comes out on top. Yes it all comes down to this folks, of the hero course is Katsuki Bakugo. Verses his classmate the well favored Kai Midoriya. Now, begin!!!"

As expected Bakugo comes in for the first attack. I lean back as he brings his hand up. He fixes the miss by launching an explosion in my face. I'm sent flying back and skid across the arena floor nearly going out of bounds. 

Bakugo: "I've been waiting for this match. This is where we decide who's the best."

I look up and roll to the side avoiding a explosion. I then jump to my feet and close the distance between us. I lean left avoiding his left hook but he slams his right hand into my stomach. He then lets loose an explosion that launches me into the dirt.

Bakugo: "Come on Kai, give this your all!!! Use that power from the USJ!!! Stop holding back!!!"

His holds out his hands sending a large blast my way. I throw caution to the wind and boost my body. My muscles tighten as I hop into the air to avoid his attack. I then slam both of my fists down shaking the entire arena and causing Bakugo to lose his footing. 

I take off tearing up the ground and instantly arriving in front of Bakugo. I unleash a flurry of punches which all land on his chest. I grab his face and slam him into the arena floor. He springs to his feet and fires a blast point blank in my face.

I power through the pain and sucker punch Bakugo in his gut taking him off the ground. I kick his legs to turn him and punch him in his side. This slams him into the ground enough to knock him out. I relax my body before just passing out.

3rd POV

Midnight: "Bakugo is KO'd, Kai Midoriya is the winner."

Everyone cheers and applause when Midnight walks up to Kai. She waves and soon Kai is escorted out of the arena on a stretcher. Once he's taken care of the awards are handed out. All Might hands a medal to Tokoyami who came in third place along with Iida and Todoroki. He then hands a medal to Bakugo who has been muzzled.

All Might: "Finally in first place is Kai Midoriya. Unfortunately he's recovering and won't be able to attend the ceremony. However his younger brother Izuku will take the medal in his place."

Deku walks up to the stage and is handed Kai's medal.

All Might: "These are your winners, but any one of you could have been in their place. Continue to train and some day you shall achieve your dream."
