"Hmm looks like all I need are tomatoes and then I'll have everything." (y/n) mumbled under her breath as she wrote down the brainstorm of new dishes she could test out. She put down her pencil and stretched her limbs as far as they could go. Sunday are one of the few days that all of the students in Cherryton were able to relax.  She looked out to the window to see the sunshine dancing on her skin. "Maybe if I leave now, I can convince Haru to give me some tomatoes." Right when (y/n) was about to head out she checked her appearance. Her hair looked like a birds nest and her clothes were disheveled. Maybe I shouldn't have taken that nap. Quickly changing into a freshly ironed uniform, she ran her fingers through her hair as an attempt to fix it.She looked again in the mirror to make sure she looked presentable, now I'm ready.

(y/n) opened the doors of the garden club. She was greeted to a roof full of vibrant plants, but she had no sight of the rabbit. "Hello? Haru are you here?" She walked further into the roof to find an odd view. Instead of seeing Haru tending to her plants, she had the pleasure of being greeted from the infamous Adler. Wide eyed (y/n) said "Oh hey Louis is Haru here?"Louis stood there with his arms  crossed, answering in a snark tone, "How would I know?" with now an irritated face she responded "well last time I checked you're not part of the garden club, so why else would you be here?" As if he snapped out from a trance Louis straightened up and shifted his arms to his sides. "Ah i'm really sorry (y/n), I didn't mean to snap at you like that, I've been under some stress because of a performance coming up." his eyes now piercing through (y/n), she gave a hesitant smile and responded, "It's alright we've all been there" Was that an actual apology? or was he just faking it? "so do you know if Haru is here?" "She's in the shed right now. She's feeling a bit ill so I just wanted to check up on her" "Aww you're such a nice friend" Maybe I judged him too quickly. (y/n) began to head to the entrance of the shed "I'm just going to pop in and ask if she's alright" As if on queue Haru stepped out of the shed with her uniform buttoned weirdly. "Ah Haru I was just about to-" "Hey (y/n) don't worry I'm feeling fine now, I overheard your conversation with Louis, I just had an upset stomach". Haru looked at  (y/n) with a false smile, trying to rid any suspicion. "Oh okay then" Something seems off. "Did you need something?" "Yeah I was hoping to barter some tomatoes off of you for exchange of some manual labor". "I just got done taking care of all the flowers, but you can take the tomatoes today and just come in tomorrow to help me out" "Thank you! I'll just pick some real quick and then be out, bye Haru" (y/n) smiled at Haru and gave a slight nod to Louis. She quickly picked her tomatoes and left wanting to leave that awkward situation as fast as possible.

"So you're friends with that human?"Louis shifted his eyes from the door to the small white rabbit. Haru wrapped her arms around Louis "More like associates. She knows that I'm the only one in the club so there's a lot of work to be done, so in exchange of helping me out, she can use my plants for her dishes. What's your opinion on her?" Louis thought strategically, not sure if he should tell Haru how he truly feels about the lonely human. "She's...intriguing"

Heading towards the cooking club, where (y/n) would cook up her new concoction, she stumbled upon a familiar wolf with a companion. "Legoshi!" she smiled and began jogging towards him, both figures turned around, Legoshi smiled at the sight of his new friend "Hey (y/n)" Now getting a better look at his friend. "You look a little pale today, have you eaten yet?"(y/n) shook her head, "not yet, I sort of got distracted writing down a new recipe I wanted to try. I went to the garden club to pick these. Ah if I finish before curfew do you think we could meet up so you could taste them?" Before Legoshi could answer, his friend next to him answered. "Of course! Right Legoshi?" "Yeah I don't mind. Oh I forgot (y/n), this is Jack" (Y/n) shifted her gaze on Jack,"It's really nice to meet you Jack I'm (y/n), I'd try to give you a handshake, but my hands are sort of full." "Here let me help you." Jack grabbed the tomatoes "Where are you headed? Legoshi and I will gladly walk you there" "Thank you so much, I'm heading towards the cooking club, hopefully it's not too far of a detour for you guys" "Nah you're fine Legoshi and I were about to head to lunch, but since you're making him food, we can wait so we can all eat together.That is if you have enough ingredients to make food for the both of us?" The golden lab looked at you with hopefully eyes "Of course I'll have enough. It's the least I can do since you guys are helping me out."

As silence started to creep up,(y/n) tried to learn more of her new friends. "So how long have you guys known each other?" Jack's ears perked up and began to smile "We've been friends since elementary." "That's amazing! You guys must have such a strong friendship! The longest friendship I had lasted for two years, actually the day we became friends is coming up in a few days" (y/n) changed her sight from Jack to the floor, her gaze becoming somber "It's not really easy making friends when you're the only human," As if a light switch flipped her mood, (y/n) began to smile brightly at the two," but that just means that the friends I make truly like me for me!...Oh look we're here! If you guys want you can head to your dorms and I can just drop them  off " "You don't have to! We can just wait for you and keep you company so you're not alone." "Thanks you two!"

(y/n) gathered all of the ingredients and began to prep whilst the boys sat at the station intently watching her. "So what are you making?" Jack asked curiously, " Tarte à la tomate et à la moutarde. It's just a french tarte that's filled with dijon mustard and tomatoes". Both of the boys began to sway their tails "I'm already excited to try it." The comment brought out a warm smile to (y/n)'s face. "Let's hope I don't mess this up then, I've never had anyone watch me cook." "But (y/n) aren't you in the cooking club? Don't you usually cook with your classmates?" "Well.."(y/n) began to chop the tomatoes hastily " a lot of my classmates are worried that I'll hurt myself, so they usually make me prep or do simple tasks. I know they're just trying to look out for me, but it does make me feel pathetic."(y/n) looked at the boys to see their moods becoming dimmer, uh oh I made it awkward. "Ouch!" (y/n) dropped the knife and hunched forward in pain. Both of the boys stood up "Are you alright?" Legoshi's voice wavered in worry. (y/n) stood back up "Ah just kidding! it was getting a little awkward so I thought I'd lighten the mood." (y/n) went back to cutting the tomatoes with an accomplished smile on her face as the boys sat back down in relief.  "Alright let's stop messing around and actually start cooking" "But (y/n) you were-" "Not now Legoshi! I need to concentrate!". Legoshi looked at (y/n) as he watched her swiftly go through the motions of cooking. She's not as short as Haru, but even though I tower her she doesn't show any sign of fear. Unlike the other students she doesn't seem to care that I'm a wolf. Is she like this with the rest of the student body? "Legoshi you've been pretty quiet are you okay?" (y/n) tilted her head at the wolf who was deep in thought "Oh I'm fine. Just thinking about the performance coming up" (y/n) slid the tart in the oven and began a timer. "oh that remind me, do you know Louis?" "Yeah he's the star of the drama club. If you don't mind me asking, why did you ask?" Does she like him or is she just a fan? (y/n) sat across the boys, "well I saw him today at the garden club, he said he was checking up on Haru, but the whole situation just felt off. " "I wouldn't worry too much about it (y/n), it does sound like something our future beastar would do." "you're probably right, maybe I'm just reading too much into it. He did tell me he was feeling stressed about an upcoming event or something like that" ring ring ring "The tarts are ready!" (y/n) set the tarts down on a cooling rack and began to tidy up the workspace. "Don't worry about cleaning up, Legoshi and I will do it! You already did all the cooking." "Thanks you guys." Once the boys were done (y/n) served them their tarts, "Tell me what you guys think" (y/n) looked at their face intently trying to figure out their reactions. Jack was the first to speak up "These taste heavenly! Awh Legoshi you're so lucky to be her tester!" Legoshi simply nodded finishing his bite, "Just like the last dish. This one is also amazing (y/n)." "(y/n) you should join us for lunch, and I'm not asking because of your delicious food. You seem really nice and genuine." With a bright smile (y/n) answered "I guess it'd be fun eating with other people. Sure, I'll join you guys as much as I can."  "You know Jack, it would be nice to have a second opinion on my cooking skills if you're willing to participate." " I'd love to eat your cooking any time!" Once everyone was done eating they all began to head back to the dorms. The three were heading out the building, and as if the gods were pulling a prank on (y/n) they saw a familiar Adler. "Hey Louis!" called out Jack, Please don't look back thought Legoshi and (y/n).
