Rue

'Please don't kill me,' I shrieked. Suddenly a gorgeous creature filled my vision, I squinted. The world started to fade away. I was so distracted by the luminous star (let's face it, we all were) that I didn't realise I was following it.

The creature was so exquisite that the vampires forgot about me.

I had been following for what felt like ages.

'Stay away from me,' Malice shrieked.

Oh drat, why was she here? I wanted to talk to the creature. It felt important like we were meant to mean something to each other but never got the chance.

'This was my fault,' the star was gone.

I sprinted to the clearing but it was too late. The entire area had been destroyed along with everyone in it. I fell to my knees and sobbed.

'Don't cry for your enemy. Malice has done what we couldn't do,' Gem cleared her throat. 'But she was never on our side.'

'Maybe I don't want to be on your side then.'

'You don't have a choice.'

I was doomed. Left in an empty world, consumed by my enemies.

The end :(
