late valentines story!!

3rd person POV:

"sometimes cupid runs out of their precious arrows and shoots only one person, not two" bakugou thought to him self after remembering what happened awhile ago for valentines, he was rejected and didn't take it well after he got made fun of as he was popular.

bakugou wanted to ask kirishima to be his valentines, but he didn't wanna go through that again, he was scared incase it would happen again.

kirishima wanted to ask bakugou out aswell, he was just kinda nervous though, he was still building up the confidence to do such thing.

then they had the rest of the bakusquad, they were just waiting to see if they would ask each other at this point, they were genuinely so close to each other that it would shock people to say they were not dating.

there was clearly a scent of romance going through them both when they were around and with each other, and as i said, it was obvious.

mina was the first to be told about how kirishima feels about bakugou, she tried convincing him into asking bakugou, knowing it was hard to she was slowly convincing him though.

kirishima was honestly just rambling to mina about all the things that could go wrong, mina really was trying to calm him down, like bringing up things that could go right. mina ended up saying something like what if bakugou was too nervous to ask him too, that convincing kirishima.

kirishima obviously was still nervous, he was trying to be as manly as he could while he sent bakugou a message and went to go meet him after he replied with a simple "sure".

kirishima was trying to push away how nervous he was, i mean bakugou and him were friends, not in a relationship or anything. the more kirishima thought about it he started realising that he didn't want bakugou to just be his valentine, he wanted bakugou to be his boyfriend, so instead he was gonna ask for both.

time skip

bakugou and kirishima had met up now, bakugou was still thinking about earlier though.

kirishima: so uh like valentines is soon.
bakugou: yeah yeah i know what is it.
kirishima: i was like wondering if like...
bakugou: cmon just say it already.
kirishima: i was wondering if you wanted to be my boyfriend and be my valentine??

kirishima said with his hands wrapped around each other and looking down, slowly raising his head to make eye contact with bakugou.

bakugou: i mean i didn't really expect that.
kirishima: it's ok if you don't i know it's a lot.
bakugou: no no no, i do...
kirishima: wait, you do??
bakugou: yeah yeah, calm down. i was just too scared to ask you...

kirishima just smiled then hugged bakugou, bakugou wasn't used this but he did his best hugging back.

turns out mina had been hiding close around them, taking photos and soon sending them to the "bakusquad" group chat.
