6:00 AM

Budo woke up from his alarm clock ringing, he immediately opened his eyes and turned off his alarm clock that was sitting on top of the nightstand, that was next to his bed. After turning off the alarm clock he gets up from bed and starts to stretch his body before doing his daily exercise session. He was extra energetic today since he will be meeting up with his best friend Sho.

6:40

He stops exercising and changes his clothes, he dumps his sweaty clothes onto a basket that was at the corner of his room. After changing he speed walks downstairs to his kitchen and prepare his breakfast. He has been preparing his own breakfast for about a month now because his parents are in a different country for work purposes, at first he was sad but he slowly became okay with it, although he and his parents don't really get a chance to interact with one another from video calling because of the time zones and them being busy, it saddens him that they can't interact but he always shrugs it off, it's not like they ever got along anyways so it wouldn't be too different if they were still home.

After a few minutes he finally finished cooking his breakfast, he had rice with fried fish.

7:20 AM

He washes his dishes and the other tools he used to cook. When he was done washing them he went to the bathroom and showered, after bathing he went to his room with very wet hair and a towel on his waist, as he walked towards his room water dripped down from his hair every step he took.

When he got in his room he took off the towel that was wrapped on his waist and used it to dry his hair, after trying to dry his hair with the towel he decided to dress up, after dressing up he hurriedly grabs his phone from a desk in his room and quickly goes down to his living room and put on shoes that was next to his door. He wore a green polo shirt, white pants, brown belt and dark brown shoes.

Before leaving his home he looked at his phone to check if he had any messages, there was none. He took his red colored bike that was hiding under the bushes, and rode towards a ramen store that he and Sho always go too.

8:02

Budo finally got to his and Shos' favorite Ramen Store, he was out of breath when getting down off his bike, he put his bike by the parking space. It took him a few seconds before going inside because he was still tired from biking from his home to where he was, after a few he finally went inside. He looked inside and saw Sho in their usual spot doing something on his phone,  he sat down beside Sho, when Sho looked up from his phone he immediately closed his phone and spoke to Budo.

Sho: Dude! What took you so long?

Budo: Sorry sorry, I biked here so it took me a while. Oh by the way have you ordered yet?

Sho: Ofcourse I have

Budo: Okay then

Sho: So, while we wait, I want to know more about you and Ayano.

Sho said with a smug and in a childish tone.

Budo: What??

Sho: What do you mean what? You two had a date together!

Sho said while playfully punching Budo's elbow while having a huge smile on his face.

Budo: No no no! It wasn't a date!

Budo waves his arms frantically at Sho trying to explain what happened.

Budo: We were only hanging out! It wasn't at all a date.

Sho: Oh really?

Budo: Yeah!

Sho: I don't believe you, you and Ayano definitely have something going on.

Sho staired at Budo while he talked.

Budo: Why?

Sho: It's just that, you two always go home together, always interacting with one another, then suddenly a picture of you two eating together? Tell me Budo, why should I believe that you and Ayano aren't a thing?

Budo couldn't think of anything to say to Sho.

Sho: Got you!

Sho laughed at Budo, but Budo after hearing Sho say got you shaked his head franticly.

Budo: No no, me and Ayano are just friends nothing more, we just walk together because it's fun.

Sho: Sure sure...

Budo: Anyways! we should talk about something elseee like what else happened in school while I was gone?

Sho: Oh dude! you know those delinquents that are always by the incinerator?

Budo: Yeah what's up with them? did they get expelled or something?

Sho: Osoro Shidesu, their leader, came back.

Budo: Whoa, seriously? I thought she was in jail.

Sho: Yeah that's what I thought too.

Budo: Anything else happened?

Sho: Yeah yeah! I heard that Raibaru went to America for a Taekwondo competition!

Budo: That's great! When's the competition?

Sho: Around next week's saturday.

Sho: I hope she wins.

Budo: Yeah me too.

A few seconds later the server arrived.

Server: Here is your food,enjoy!

Sho: Yesss!

Both Budo and Sho took their chopsticks and started to eat.

Sho: Do you *slurping sounds* Tajo Yanada?

Budo: Uh what?

Sho: Taro *more slurping noodles sounds* Yamama

Budo: Maybe you stop eating first.

Sho stops eating and began to speak once again.

Sho: Do you know Taro Yamada?

Budo: Yeah? He's my classmate.

Sho: From what I heard, he's apparently dating Osoro.

Budo: Oh, wait really? I thought he hated those types of people?

Sho: Yeah, shocking isn't it? I never expected him of all people to like her.

Budo nodded as a response.

Budo: Any news yet? about you know, Mina?

Sho: Yes actually! She messaged me earlier saying that she was fine.

Budo: Oh that's a relief! But did you ask her where she was?

Sho: I did but she didn't answer, she saw the message but no reply...

Sho hands began to grip on tightly to the chopsticks.

Budo: Oh.. maybe her phone is just dead.

Sho: Yeah.. maybe.

They both began to eat again, after a few minutes they finished eating. They stood up and paid for their food, but just as they were walking they heard a familiar voice coming from an alley near the store. They moved closer to the alley but didn't go in it, the alleyway wasn't that big but it could fit three people.

Lady 1: I-I just don't know what to do! She hasn't been responding to my messages or calls at all!

Lady 2: Yeah! We tried everything we could, we even went to her house but there was no one there!

A man: I see.. I will definitely help you two find your friend. But um, what was the name of the friend again?

Lady 2: Ayano Aishi.

Budo eyes widened, 'Ayano is missing?!' he then looked inside the alley was making only his head visible, he then saw Kokona and Saki, they were speaking to a man in a trench coat and a hat.

Kokona: Thank you so much detective!

Saki: Yes we really appreciate it!

They both bowed their heads down to the detective.

Detective: It's my pleasure to help you two young ladies. I'll be going now.

The detective faces the front of the alleyway where Budo and Sho were, Budo immediately turns his head back to not be seen and grabs Sho collar and runs towards the front of a maid cafe shop to look like they weren't around the alleyway spying on the three.

Sho: What did they say? I couldn't hear well?

Budo: Ayano is-

Budo words were cut by someone.

Lady: Ayano? Do you know where Ayano Aishi is?

Budo and Sho turned to the direction where the voice came from, it was from the lady that always stood next to the door of the maid cafe.

Budo: I.. no, I don't sorry.

Lady: Oh, sorry then hehe.

After the lady spoke, someone came out from the cafe and began to speak to her, from the looks of it, it seemed like it was the manager who was speaking. The person had black hair, light pink polo shirt on, black pants, and white shoes, on the shirt there was a name tag but Budo couldn't see the name.

Manager: Have you found the whereabouts of that girl is yet?

Lady: N-No ma'am.

Manager: What?! God... how hard is it to find one girl.

Lady: I-I I'm very sorry ma'am.

Manager: You should be! if you still can't find her tomorrow you are fired!

Lady: Wa- wait what?!

Manager: Yeah! Your are going to be fired if you don't find that Aishi girl.

Lady: But that isn't fair!

Manager: I don't care! Find her!

Budo and Sho stared there in shock, the manager caught them staring and spoke.

Manager: What do you two want?

Sho: N- nothing we were just planning to head inside and eat hehehe...

The manager went inside.

Lady: Please... if you know where Ayano is, please tell me!

The lady begged the two.

Budo: U-um yeah sure ofcourse.

Sho then grabbed Budo's shoulder and spoke.

Sho: What did you want to tell me?

Budo: Maybe... maybe we should go somewhere more private?

Sho: Oh uh sure.

Budo: Oh but wait! my bike!

Budo immediately ran towards the ramen shop to get his bike but it was nowhere to be seen. He tried looking everywhere for it but it wasn't there, he gave up and went back to Sho who was comforting the lady.

Sho: What a jerk...

Lady: I might as well quit this stupid job..

Sho: Yeah! you could probably find a better job than this.

Budo: Uh Sho..

Sho: Sorry Budo but I need to stay with her for a while, she needs someone right now.

Budo: Alright then I'll just tell you later.

Budo ran to his house because he didn't have any money to pay for a taxi, as he ran he felt horrible thinking about the fact that his friend was missing, as he was running to the to his house he bumped into someone, it was Mina, luckily Mina didn't fall from being bumped by Budo, she was first facing the house of Budo but then turned around when he bumped her.

Budo: M-Mina!

Budo hugged Mina tightly

Budo: I-I am so sorry for bumping into you but I'm so glad you're here..

Mina: B-Budo! hahahaha..

Budo stopped hugging Mina and had his hands on her shoulders.

Budo: But Mina.. I need to know where have you been? I also really need to tell you something, but yeah where have you been?

Mina: I thought maybe running away would finally make my family notice me.. they did but now I just feel guilty for doing such a thing..

Budo: What's important is that you're safe.

Mina: Yeah yeah... oh right! what was the important thing you wanted to talk about?

Budo: It's about Ayano.

Mina's eyes widened. 'Shit, people already know she's missing??' she thought.

Budo: She's missing..

Mina: missing?

Budo lets go of Mina's shoulder.

Budo: Yeah.. and I don't know how to find her.

Mina: Maybe she ran away too?

Budo: Maybe...

'Yes yes! just think she ran away..' Mina thought to herself, she felt a smile coming to her face but she immediately stopped it.

Budo: But what if she was kidnapped..

Mina: B-Budo... she probably just ran away like I said.

Budo:I should call the police and tell them about what happened!

Budo then took his phone out of his pocket.

'SHIT! I HAVE TO THINK FAST' she thought, Mina slapped it out of his hand causing it to fall to the ground.

Budo: M-Mina! What are you doing?!

Mina: The police can't be trusted!

Budo: What are you talking about?!

Mina: They are shitty at their job and you know it!

Budo: What?!

Mina: They can't be trusted.

Budo: You're speaking nonesene Mina! They are our only hope in finding Ayano!

Mina: How do you know?!

Budo: You're being ridiculous!

Budo crouched down to grab his phone, but then when he looked up, on the other side of the road there were people watching him and Mina fight. He then realized him and Mina were arguing in broad daylight, he stood up but still facing the people who were watching.

'Shit.. I forgot that it was morning'

Mina: No I'm not!

Budo then turned towards Mina and pushes her out the way to get to the other side of the street where his house was.

Mina: Budo!

Budo ignored her call and went inside his house. He took off his shoes, and went to bed, 'maybe I should take a nap.' He closed his eyes and tried to sleep but it was no use, he got out off bed and went on his phone. He scrolled for on his phone for hours, and hours.

8:00 PM

He stopped using his phone and lied down on the ground and began to think.

'I should really call the police..'

'But Mina said not to'

'What Mina said was wrong tho'

'Was it?'

'Maybe we should call Ayano'

'You heard it earlier, Kokona and Saki tried maybe it would be different for you?'

'Why on earth would it be different for me?'

'I dunno'

He groaned in anger, he was having battles with himself in his head.

'Why wouldn't it be different?'

'What does that even mean?'

'Jajjajajaj'

"Okay nope I'm done" Budo said to himself as he stood up from the floor of his bedroom and walked to the kitchen.

"Food solves everything" he checked the kitchen for any food.

"HOW THE HELL IS THERE NO FOOD HERE!" He went around in circles in the kitchen once again.

'I should go outside and buy food'

'After what happened earlier? Absolutely not!'

'But I'm starving'

'No No nonononono'

'Im starving'

'No!'

'Why'

'Because it would be embarrassing'

'HUH WHAT'

'I had a argument with Mina earlier, if I get seen by someone I might get humiliated!'

'Who cares?!'

'I do'

"Well I'm you!" He screamed at himself, he stopped walking and thought about what just happened.

"I'm a mess"

He went upstairs to get his phone and called Ayano. "I'll get food later"
