19. Big creepy stalker?!

"Go on." Zack walked towards him slowly, hands in his pockets. "Say what you said to them again. See what happens." Yui stared hopelessly, knowing hairgel's reputation. "What, she's yours or something? My bad." The man lit a cigarette and puffed out. "That bitch just needed a lesson. And I'm assuming the pig is your pet or something?" His face twisted into a smile. Zack looked like he was about to scream. "Whatever. Here." He handed a bill to Daniel.

"Oh, so you're real bold, Yui." I commented.

"Huh?" The guy looked back at me.

"Yeah. That wallet in your hand. Yui, weren't you going to give that to Daniel? He just rejected you."

The next thing I knew, Yui was on the ground, as the guy Began to kick and slam her. "You fucking whore-" he screamed "I'll teach you a lesson, I-" Zack started walking forwards, but I stopped him with my arm. "Didn't Mira say you couldn't fight?" I joked. "Well, not like I can just watch this." He gestured. I looked at his disappointed face. "Don't tell her."

Zack's POV:

God, what a fucking nuisance. I just wanted a drink after that run, but- what even is this mess? That red guy's nasally voice, his smug face, everything pissed me off. And the things he said- I owe those two turkeys a favour, dammit.

I sighed, looking over at Y/N with her arm outstretched. Strangely, she dosent seem one bit bothered. I guess her thick skin covers all areas. "It's fine, Gel boy. I've got this. I haven't gotten revenge on this asshole yet." Y/N- in a fight? She was damn good, but this loser... "Stop calling me that- and can you eve-"

An ear piercing scream and crash hit the store, making everything shake. Yui dropped back to the floor, eyes wide in terror. What- what did-

The punk's head was slammed into the counter's marble table, his red hair blending in with the blood leaking from his head. Y/N's hand had a firm grasp on his hair, shoving him harder into the table. "Since you like to slam shit so much, two can play at this game." She let go of him. A trail of blood was left as he slid to the floor. "God. That's embarrassing." She said, watching him tremble on the floor. What... what in the world was that? I didn't see anything- he just- how did she do that?!

The Pig at the cashier seemed just as shocked. Just... just what in the hell was Y/N?

Y/N's POV:

MAN THATS NICE. I watched the little coward shrivel up on the floor, shaking in fear. "That's what you get, punk", I yelled. This was the most violent I had gotten In a while- Goo would be endlessly proud of this viciousness. Zack looked like he'd seen a ghost. "What- what the hell?" He looked back and fourth between me and the man, as if to confirm what he was seeing. "What're you looking at?" I yelled at the man, kicking him again with a thud. "Get the hell out. Now." Crashing through the shelves, he got up and stumbled out the store. Yui gave us a quick smile before running out after him.

"Oi." Me and Daniel turned towards Zack. "You two all good? I wasn't here for all of that, you know." "U-uh, yes. I'm fine, and Y/N..." they both turned over to me. I reopened my magazine, blood smearing on the corner of the page as I flipped and read. "What, think someone calling me a whore once is going to make go cry to mommy?"

"Well, long night." I yawned. Daniel and I finally finished cleaning the mess that idiot made, and now we were deep into the night. If no one ever comes in at 3 am, why the hell are we here?

"Ah, Daniel..." I had to restrain myself from an evil smirk. "I was just wondering if you could cover for me." He looked up from his phone. "Huh? For what?" "Well, I just thought... there's no one here anyways. I know boss man dosent allow it but— just let me go out and get a smoke, come on." I sent him my best pleading look. "I don't know, Y/N. There's cameras, you know." He gestured inconspicuously to the one right above us. "I'll just take the trash with me, throw that out and get a smoke while I come back. Victimless crime, no? Yeah, I agree too Daniel, be right back." Before he could protest further, I picked up the full trash can and ran for it. Whatever, I'll just bring the can part back later. Big whoop.

Now, FREEDOM!

Daniel's POV:

Gah, what can even stop her...

From our first meeting to the concert and beyond, Y/N Han never failed to be interesting. Like a train wreck you can never look away from. Yet, things all seem to go pretty smoothly for her.

With the bell, a haggard looking man stepped foot into the store. Wha, at this hour? Usually no one but a few late night office workers come in— he didn't seem like he was working. He was looking at his phone, reading- no, watching something. Why is this his 3rd night here in a row? Suddenly, his face twisted into a smile of pure ecstasy. Y/N, Where's your endless courage when I need it!? This guy scares me to death!

"I'll pay for this." He seemingly teleported from the shelves to my cashier, staring at me through his hollow cheeks. EEK! I'M CAUGHT!

"Ah, y-yes." I scan the bottle he hands me- whiskey, the same brand he always seems to get. "Yes sir, here's your change-" as I bend over to hand him the coins, I catch a glimpse of what he's watching. For a moment, my blood runs cold.

Y/N's POV:

I flip through my phone and take a puff out. Ah, fresh air. How I've missed you. I put on my headphones. What's new? DG. That sure ruined it quick.

"Hello?" A voice came from ahead. I looked up to see a short man, plastic bag in hand and a big smile on his face. Man, wonder why he's so happy. Was he also on trash duty like me?

No, no, something... doesn't really seem right about this guy. I back up just a bit. "I need directions. I don't know the way, so..." he walks towards me. Directions?? At this hour? In an alley? "Uh, sure. Where do you need to go?" I back away further as he closes in. This little... "heheh, I guess I don't know either..." he grabbed out towards my chest as my eyes widen. Damn, I hit the wall! "Hey, the hell do you think you're doing?" I slapped his arm away. "You said directions, not to get to me. Back the hell up before I start yelling." I stared at him, gauging his angry expression. Please, dear lord, just back up... what shitty luck I'm having today.

Sudden'y, he lunged at me, slamming my head against the wall. Dammit! I felt my vision blur and the world spin as I tried everything to shove him away. In my daze, I could see him holding something that glimmered under the streetlight. How did I let it come to this? "You, is that how you speak to your husband? With that threatening tone?" He grabbed at me, ripping at my shirt and breaking a few seams. I swung my bets to get a kick in at him, but my head was spinning so hard. I seemed to have kicked him off me, but I could barely see far enough to tell. As my hand flew to support my head, I could feel something wet dripping from my hair. All I could see was red.

No matter- I lunged at him, grabbing what I could only assume was a weapon with a slice to the hand for me. Dammit, Y/N, the handle! I threw the weapon out of his reach as I started to punch him. He tried to fight back, but was clearly too weak. My eyes watered and at some point, my body gave out and I landed on the floor with an agonizing crash. My eyes still closed despite my desperation to keep them open. What was going to happen to me? What if he picks up what he brought again, what if—

God knows how long later, I stood up, trembling and shaking. What happened? I couldn't. Couldn't be sure. The stench of blood haunted every corner of the alley. In fact, my hands were completely covered in fresh, wet blood. The man was beyond recognition, face completely bloodied and mutilated. The knife was nowhere to be seen.
