"Risotto, I heard Y/N's back in town," Melone says while sitting down at a table with the others. 

"What?" Risotto says, "She's been missing for months."

"Yeah, so now she's back. I don't know where, though," Melone replies.

"Melone, is this true?" Risotto almost slams his hand onto the table.

He grunts, "Well, the team that surveys the area said they've seen someone that looks like her running around."

Risotto stared right into his eyes to make sure he wasn't lying. "Pair up with one another and find her. That's an order."

So, they all set off. Risotto went alone as he's the leader and feels confident in his power. You used to be his pair, but you went missing without a trace 3 months ago. He was so concerned as his partner in crime just vanished without saying goodbye. At one point he thought you were dead, but he pushed that thought away in hopes of seeing you again. Your smile that lit up the gloomy atmosphere, your calming presence that makes everyone's days better— he thought it was all gone. Right when he was about to tell you how he felt, you were gone. He felt his heart shatter and sink, but kept his composure as leader of La Squadra.

You wake up on the cold, muddy ground. You groan in pain while trying to stand up, but fall down because you were nauseous.

Risotto heard a sound in the forest he was walking beside and activated his invisibility. He approached a coughing figure on the floor. It looked like a woman with H/L H/C hair. He didn't see your eyes until you felt a presence near you. You looked around, panicked.

That's when Risotto knew. He knew the bloody and pale woman in front of him was you.

"Who's there?" you croak.

He deactivates his invisibility and rushes over to you, "Y/N!"

You gasp when you see him. He kneels down and pulls you into an embrace, even though you're dirty.

"Oh, Risotto," you cry tears of joy, "I missed you so much."

"And I missed you too. What happened to you? What are you doing here?" Risotto looks you up and down.

You try to recall what happened, but nothing pops up. "I-I don't know, I was constantly drugged and abused, a-and I was barely kept alive by my kidnapper."

"Why didn't you use your stand? What did they look like? I'll kill them," Risotto clenches his fist.

"I couldn't. Everything I saw was spinning or a hallucination. I tried fighting back, but they easily overpowered me," you reply.

In fear of losing you again, he acts fast, "Come on, let's get you to the hospital."

He scoops you up and begins to head there, but you soon fall asleep from the exhaustion.

You wake up in a hospital room. Prosciutto and Formaggio are sitting in the chairs beside you.

"Hi boys," you say groggily.

"Y/N! You're awake!" Formaggio exclaims.

"Are you okay? I can go get Risotto for you," Prosciutto insists.

You nod and the 2 men leave while one enters.

"How are you doing, Y/N?" Risotto asks.

"I'm feeling much better now. Thank you for finding me, Risotto. I knew I could always count on you," you take his hand and smile.

There it is. The smile that lit up a gloomy atmosphere. For the first time in months, he smiled back.

"I missed your smile, Tesoro," Risotto squeezes your hand.

"I missed yours too," you reply."

"There's something I need to tell you," he says.

You furrow your eyebrows, "What is it?"

"I love you, Y/N. I wanted to tell you earlier but... you were gone."

"I love you too, Risotto, even when you look scary and mad," you laugh softly, which was music to his ears.

Since you were awake and healthy again, you two made it back to the base where you finished recovering.

Risotto's eyes shot awake. He had recalled past memories in a nightmare. It was you. Bloody, beaten, drugged.

It's about 2am, and he taps your shoulder.

You groan as you turn to him, "What?"

He grabs your waist and pulls you closer to him, "Sorry for waking you, just know that I'll protect you with my life, Amore," he says while petting your hair.

"Mmmhm," you hum in response, "I love you too."
