Hello my darlings

I apologize for taking a long time to update but school starting just hasn't been it.

I've also started a new book for my Myoui Mina obsessed people so if you can check my new book out, I would be very appreciative :))

I hope you enjoy this part but another one is yet to come :)

Introduction: After getting attacked at Gale's place, the gang starts coming up with ways to try and discover who Ghostface is whilst calling in a old friend for help although things go downhill upon another meeting with Ghostface.

Y/n's pov

"So what are we gonna do? Are we just going to ignore that last night we were attacked by ghostface or...?" Mindy said as everyone stayed quiet

We were now at Sam's place since we didn't know what to do

Sidney had bandaged up her wound and it seemed to be a minor issue

"Mindy I say leave it for rig-" Chad was saying when his sister cut him off

"No Chad- this isn't a football game where you can throw a foul under the rug, this is real. Ghostface is back again and we now see that it has everything to do with us meaning it won't take long before he attacks again" Mindy exclaimed before sighing and sitting down on the couch

"I-I lost Anika last time. I don't wanna lose anyone else" Mindy spoke softly as I could only stare at the floor

Once she mentioned Anika, the scene played in my head

"Anika! Come on grab my hand!" I shouted while trying to stretch my hand out even more

"I-I can't!" She cried out as she held onto the ladder

"Anika please!" I said before I was able to feel her touch my hand

"Anika!" I shouted as Ghostface tilted the ladder and-

I groaned in anger as I stood up and threw my cup across the room

(Now rereading it, it was probably too much but I don't feel like changing it 💀)

Glass shattering once making contact with the wall

Everyone looked at me as I stayed looking at the spot where the cup made impact with the wall

"I had her." I mumbled out

Everyone knew Anika's death was hard on me

I promised that after we had captured Ghostface last time, I would disappear because of the trama with Anika's death

I didn't stay true with my promise.

I felt it was my fault for the longest time all because I touched her hand and had a chance of grabbing her

I still feel a heavy weight whenever I think about it.

"It was impossible. She was too far and would have lost her balance either way if she let go of the ladder. It wasn't your fault" Sam said

"Nothing is impossible" I responded, still not ripping my eyes off of the wall when I grabbed my phone and headed towards the kitchen

"Y/n-" Sidney called out but I started calling someone

"Y/n, who are you calling?" Tara asked but I heard it ringing

It kept ringing and I felt like it was about to go to voicemail but then the phone was picked up

I thought you said you would never answer me again.

"Yes?" I heard her voice fill with regret upon answering

"You said you would never pick up if I tried calling" I said as I saw everyone look at me with confusion, I heard her go silent before she spoke up again

"I saw what happened. The deaths." She said

"So you know why I'm calling." I said

"We got attacked last night." I said as once again she went silent

"What do you want, kid?" She finally responded

"Your help- for the last time." I said which I heard her chuckle

"If you seriously think I'm gonna go back-" She was saying when I sighed and spoke up

"Kirby. She's back" I said as everyone's eyes went wide with surprise, Sidney's especially

"Kirby?" Sidney said while standing up

"Sidney's back." I said while staring dead at my mom, Kirby going completely quiet

"In an hour at Sam's, I'll be expecting you Kirby." I spoke

"You'll be disappointed" She said which I sighed

"I don't think I will" I said before parting my ear from my phone and ending the call, everyone looking at me.

"Kirby?" Sidney spoke as surprisingly neither of them knew they were each alive

"Yeah.. Kirby." I sighed out

"I thought Kirby cut everything off with us when she left last year" Sam said

"Yeah but I had seen her before she fully left. I had her number from before which when I mentioned it to her, she said she would never pick up if I called. I guess she has a soft spot for me" I smiled

"How is she alive..?" Sidney asked

"How Kirby explained it was that she almost died when she got stabbed- well that she did die for 4 minutes but when she recovered, she was mad. She then went with the FBI and almost pulled the gun on Gale after calling her a zygote" I explained before raising my eyebrows at Gale which she rolled her eyes

"But you guys may have time to catch up when she comes later" I said

"She actually agreed?" Tara asked

"Not quite but I don't think she'll stick to her word. Just like you mom, she was betrayed. You, by your cousin. And her, by her lover and the person she considered her best friend and maybe even her sister." I said before heading outside the apartment

I wasn't actually sure Kirby would come

I know how much this effected her which is why she came back years later to help

I know she doesn't want anything left to do with this but I have a feeling we are really gonna end up needing her help

I started walking around the hallway, trying to figure out a way to catch Ghostface

We need a plan.

I know last plan went to pure shit because the people we made the plan with, were Ghostface

"Y/n!" I heard Chad call out to me as I hummed, I went back inside as everyone looked at me

"What if it's Kirby?" Mindy said

"What?" I chuckle out

"We heard what Kirby said on how she knew about the deaths, how did she though?" Mindy explained

"Were you guys not listening to me when I said she is still with the FBI? If she knows it's because it's her job which more importantly- it had already gone out on the news on what was happening so she had to know either way" I said

"Then she can come" Sam agreed

"Y/n, what were you thinking outside?" Chad asked me

"What do you mean?" I asked

"When I first called your name, you weren't listening to me and you were walking back and forth" He said which I sighed

"I was thinking about a plan" I admitted

"A plan?" Gale said as I nodded

"We are gonna need one to catch the idiot. I know last time we organized a plan, it didn't go our way but since we all know it wasn't us- it could work this time" I said

"Do you have anything yet?" Tara asked

"Nothing at the moment but maybe dad and Kirby can help out" I said

"But more on Ghostface. Who do you think it can be?" Sidney asked

"Well let's put the options on the table. It could be some family member, love interest, obsessed fan trying to recreate- or even someone from the past" I said

"Someone from the past?" Chad said confused

"As Dewey said, "you gotta shoot them in the head or they always come back" and if I'm correct, not all the Ghostface Sidney has faced were shot in the head" I said

"Yeah not my dad though." Sam spoke

"Yes.. that's why I said "not all", do you guys ever listen to me?" I said while frowning my eyebrows

"But also calm it down Nancy Loomis, your dad was no saint" I waved Sam off

"And you think I don't know that?" Sam said

"From the tone and attitude- it's quite difficult to pin point.." I said

"Okay that's enough- Y/n has a good point but I don't know. Mark would have known and said something if one of the past Ghostface were to be alive and roaming the streets" Sidney said

"Dewey was smart. He knew very well about this whole ordeal and could have helped us out right now" I said before glancing at Gale, her look being of regret

"I hope you know he didn't hate you. He never did nor never could" I told Gale

"And I'm sorry for not being there to hold your hand once you found out.." Sidney lightly spoke

"I think we would have both needed a hand to hold" Gale tried joking

"But thank you Sam because you were the one there to hold me" Gale smiled at Sam which Sam returned with a nod

"And how is he doing?" Gale asked me which I smiled

"Dewey and Tatum are great" I responded which Sidney turned to look at me

"You- you took her?" Sidney asked me which I nodded

"I bought a whole glass cabinet so I could store them in a good place. I clean the cabinet and change out their flower whenever I see it needs to be cleaned or changed" I said before Sidney smiled and hugged me

"Thank you Y/n" She said

"I have to take good care of my uncle and aunt" I said which she smiled and ruffled my hair around

"Sorry for interrupting this beautiful moment but are we still trying to figure out who it could be?" Mindy said

"Well let's put up suspects and who could have a slight chance of being involved" I said but then a knock was heard, I looked at the door before looking at everyone else

"I got it" Chad said but I stopped him, I shook my head before going to the door

I looked through peephole before backing up

"Actually ma, you got this one?" I said which Sidney looked at me confused but walked over and opened it

Kirby and Sidney both stood in shock upon seeing each other, both not knowing what to say

"Kirby" Sidney spoke softly

"Sidney" Kirby returned

"Come in" Sidney moved out the way after coming back to her senses which Kirby walked in and stared at each one of us before landing on me

"Hmm- Reed, you seem to have a soft spot for me" I spoke teasingly, she rolled her eyes but walked over to me and hugged me

"Don't get over yourself mini Prescott" She said which I couldn't help but chuckle

"Kirby, it's good to see you- moreover good to see you alive" Sidney spoke with a soft smile

"I could say the same Sid" Kirby then went to hug Sidney

"You came a bit early" I said

"Yeah well the streets were pretty clear" Kirby said once pulling away from the hug

"So what happened?" Kirby said

"We were at Gale's place when the bastard came crashing through the window, we got a few hits on him but he only seemed to really go hard on Sidney" I said

"What about the other victims?" Kirby then asked

"Well my dad knows more of those- which talking about my dad, here he calls" I said before seeing my dad start to call me

"Hey dad" I answered with a smile but it soon faded upon hearing the voice

"Hello Prescott. Did you miss me?" Ghostface voice rang through my ears as I looked at Sidney

"Where is my dad? What the hell did you do to my dad?" I said in a more aggressive voice

"Now let's not get so aggressive Y/n. I wanted to call Sidney instead but Mark didn't have her number so you had to do" He chuckled out, Sidney looked at me confused as well as everyone else

"I would think the stab you gave my mom yesterday was enough for you" I said as I saw the color drain out of everyone's face, Ghostface chuckled before speaking

"Please y/n, I would have done more but you were a pain in the ass" He said

"Oh yeah? Well come back and try your luck again, you wouldn't be able to deal with all of us" I said

"I know my capabilities Y/n- which is why I know I can overpower you all mentally rather then physically. Remember when you asked me where your father was? Look outside the window." He said which I really didn't want to but slowly made my way to the window

At first I didn't see anything but then I looked at the top of the building in front of Sam's apartment- across the street

My phone dropped out of my hand as I then dropped to the floor

"Y/n! Y/n what's wro-" Sidney stopped mid way when she saw it too, in which she let out a blood curling scream

My father was hanging by the neck on the edge of the building

He was beat up and covered in blood with stab wounds

Ghostface then came to the edge of the building with the phone to his ear

I quickly stood up and picked up the phone

"I WILL GODDAMN KILL YOU FOR WHAT YOU DID TO MY DAD, YOU HEAR ME?" I shouted to the phone which I heard his laugh

"Come do so then" He said which I immediately dropped my phone again and tried running to the door but Chad caught me

Sidney was crying on the floor while Gale and Kirby tried comforting her

"Y/n stop-!" Chad tried holding me back but I pushed him away with too much force that made him fall down, Mindy went to help him up as I ran out the door

"Y/N!" I heard Tara yell out for me but I kept running

I didn't go through the elevator cause I would lose my sanity in there so I ran down the stairs then out the apartment complex

I ran through the road- hearing car horns after almost crashing into them

"Y/N!" I heard Tara's shout for me again but I ran into the building before making my way to the rooftop

I already knew this building so I knew how to get to the top which once I opened the door, Ghostface was waiting for me

"Took you long enough." He spoke

"I may have not gotten here fast enough but your death will" I spoke with anger in my voice

"We will see about that" He said before jumping at me

3rd person view

"Y/N!" As Tara called out to Y/n who had already ran out the apartment, she didn't waste another minute and ran after her

"Tara wait!" She heard her sister call out to her but she knew Y/n would get herself killed if she went to face Ghostface alone

She knew she wouldn't be much help either but something in her just wanted to try and protect Y/n

As she ran out the apartment complex, she saw Y/n run through the street as cars nearly missed her which when Tara tried following behind her, she was grabbed before a car sped by

"I told you to wait!" Sam told Tara

"Y/n is gonna get herself killed! We need to go wit-" Tara stopped upon seeing Ghostface at the top of the building

"Don't goddamn hurt her!" Tara yelled out which only made Ghostface laugh before disappearing by leaving the ledge

"We- we need to go after her" Sidney made her way out

"Come on come on!" Mindy pushed everyone as they made their way into the building but none of them knew how to get up to the roof

"Danny! Danny knows how to get up to the rooftop" Sam said before getting her phone out and calling Danny

As Ghostface and Y/n were rolling on the floor while punching each other

A knife and gun being on the floor away from them

Danny picked up and gave clear instructions on how to get up to the roof which everyone was being quick to get there

A small and older-taller brunette being in front of everyone, trying to get to the person they care the most for before something happens to them

As a punch almost made Y/n blackout, Ghostface had reached for the closest thing to him and tried stabbing Y/n but she had gotten his hand before he could

As they both struggled to push outward, Y/n was slowly being overpowered from being under Ghostface and having very low energy

But Y/n moved his hand to the side as the knife hit the floor rather than Y/n's face

She head butted him before grabbing the knife and getting on top of him, now Ghostface being the one getting overpowered

As the knife inched closer and closer to Ghostface's face, he kicked Y/n in the back which made her jump and in a swift move

He grabbed the knife and tried stabbing Y/n in the stomach but pretty much missed as it only sliced the side of the stomach

But Y/n was thrown off as the pain made her unable to move anymore

Ghostface was about to stab her in the chest when a sudden shout stopped him

"Y/N!" Two people shouted before Kirby found the gun and although Ghostface tried to run, he got shot in the leg

The two brunette's ran to Y/n as Ghostface had jumped off the building but a balcony was right under so he was able to escape

"Y/n- hey you're okay" Sidney said while lifting Y/n's head and placing it on her lap

Although Y/n didn't stay there and with all her force, got up and stumbled her way to the edge

"Chad" Y/n called out before grabbing the rope that was tied, with Chad's help- they got Mark's body back on top of the rooftop

"Mark" Sidney sobbed out as Y/n sat down while holding her side, with her back against the ledge she looked at her father's body as tears welded up in her eyes

As Tara came over, she placed a hand on her cheek as a sigh escaped her mouth before sitting right next to the taller girl

Rain starting to fall yet nobody cared.

It was a fine evening but upon losing a life

Rain didn't fail to come down.
