Link was worried when Tracy didn't show up for school of the show. While Link was at home practicing his dance, Link heard Tracy's name on the news that his father left on while he was asleep in the couch.

"A massive manhunt is underway for Miss Turnblad who bludgeoned sergeant and decorated Korean war veteran Mike Morris with a crowbar shattering his jaw-".

Link shut off the tv rather aggressively not believing what he heard. Link tried to continue dancing but he kept messing up, so he decided to eat but all he did was play with his food, an hour later Link couldn't fall asleep and made his way out the door.

When he reached Tracy apartment Mrs. Turnblad answered "Oh! Link. I thought you'd be Tracy".

Link said "Uh no, I was just at home practicing my new Twist on the Twist when I overheard it on the news. I I can't believe Tracy savagely bludgeoned an Eagle scout that's, that's just not like her".

Mrs. Turnblad said "Well its not true I was there, he didn't even bleed".

Link realized he didn't need to practice his dance he needed to be there with Tracy. Link said "I should've been there... beside her. I can't sleep, I can't eat".

Mrs. Turnblad said "You can't eat? Well come on in and worry with us. I'll make you some pork". 

Edna pulled Link in closing the door behind Link.

Edna said "Link that's my husband Wilbur. Wilbur this is Link a friend of Tracy's".

Link said "Nice to meet you Mr. Turnblad".

Mr. Turnblad said "Please call me Wilbur".

Link asked "Uh Wilbur... where's your... bathroom?"

Wibur said "Down the hall the last door on the right".

While Link was walking down the hall he saw an open door and peeked inside and turned on the lights, and saw photos and posters of himself on the walls and on the mirror.
