2020 Is Not The Year ๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ˜ญ

This morning I was woken up to the news that Chadwick Boseman had passed away. At first, I was in shock so I didn't respond. I hoped that it wasn't true and my friends were playing a cruel joke on me but I saw all the posts and RIP's and I realized that it was true. I cried. In fact, I'm still crying right now.

Chadwick was so much more than just an actor. He was a strong black man and he made sure to show that off in every role he played. He was also the Black Panther and in more ways than one. He was a king, he was a force to be reckoned with, he was a black man that little black boys could look up to.

I just told my mom this morning that we could never tell my little brother because Black Panther is his very movie of all time and T'Challa is his idol, basically. If I started sobbing, I can only imagine how he would've reacted.

I hope that his soul rests in peace and that people never forget him or all of his accomplishments in life.
