"Oh my god, who is she? I get drunk, on jealousy."

I couldn't believe what had just happened. I stood there flustered and blushing, watching once again as he took off, just like he had in the library.

I sighed heavily and quickly walked around the corner and into the girls bathroom, looking at my reflection in the double mirror.

I gasped as I stared at the hickey that had been left on my skin, the exact spot where Luke's lips had once been attached to.

I still had classes left, and I couldn't just walk around with an exposed hickey on my neck. It wasn't like me, and I'm slightly mad at myself for letting it happen in the first place.

But how could I not let it happen? As soon as his lips came in contact with my skin, I felt as if I were on cloud nine.

Half of me hates myself for letting him do this, but the other half was extremely happy that it'd happened.

I sighed and pulled my jumper up my shoulders as far as it would go, pulling my hair over both sides so that the hickey would be hidden.

I managed to cover it with my hair, but if you looked closely, you'd be able to see the slightly purple skin that was hidden underneath.

The bell rang soon enough, and I quickly adjusted my hair to make sure that my neck was covered one more time, before finally making my way out of the bathroom and towards my next class.

I desperately wished I'd bump into Ana and be able to pull her aside for a few minutes so that she could cover up the marks with her makeup. But sadly, we didn't cross paths; so I'd have to make do with my hair as a coverup.

I was currently sat in my last class of the day, which happened to be Science.I was sat in my usual spot, bitting the end of my pen nervously as I stared desperately at the clock.

We had three minutes left before the day ended, and it was the longest couple of minutes of my life.

After what felt like an eternity, the familiar sound of the bell ringing filled my ears, and I gathered my stuff as quickly as I could manage.

I hoped and prayed that I didn't run into Luke, but then again, when do I ever see him at school? I hadn't even seen him around here before today, and that definitely took me by surprise.

I rushed out of the doors and searched the crowded space for Ana, finally spotting her stood by Jeremy's car.

As soon as she saw me making my way towards her, she waved, whilst all I wanted to do was get the hell out of here as quickly as possible.

"Can you come round mine as soon as we leave, please? I really need to talk to you." I breathed heavily, watching as Ana's eyes filled with curiosity.

"Oh uh yeah of course Lil, I'll just text Jeremy and let him know we won't be needing a ride, let's head straight back to yours." Ana stated, pulling her phone out as she began to type away rapidly.

"There, now come on, let's get going." Ana spoke. I nodded eagerly and walked out of the school gates, not even daring to take a look back.

I didn't live too far away from the school, it was only about a five minute walk or something like that.

I took this opportunity to tell Ana about everything that had happened between the library and the incident in the hall today, for two reasons.

The first reason, was because my mum was working late tonight. And the second reason, was because my little brother was staying round his friends house for a play date, meaning he wouldn't be back until later on this evening. So all in all, we had the house to ourselves.

We reached my house soon enough, and I quickly unlocked the door with my key, as both me and Ana made our way inside, dropping our bags by the staircase.

We made our way upstairs and into my room quickly, walking straight inside. Ana quickly flopped down on my bed, hugging a pillow tightly against her chest, whilst I stood in front of her, pacing around my room nervously.

"Okay, spill it." She insisted, looking me straight in the eye. I sighed and took a seat on the edge of the bed, and began to tell my best friend exactly what had happened.

"Listen, don't freak out or anything, but when I was at the library yesterday, I met this guy." I started. She was about to say something, but I instantly held a hand up and told her to keep quiet.

"Let me finish. He was so hot and then he literally backed me up against a bookshelf. He was whispering all of these dirty things in my ear like 'how I was going to moan his name' and 'how much he couldn't wait to hear me scream it." I rambled on, determined not to leave out a single detail.

"Hold on a sec, what the fuck is that on your neck?!" She screeched, instantly throwing the pillow aside as she quickly shuffled closer, moving my hair away from my neck, eyes widening in shock as she realised what was underneath.

"I was getting to that part!" I huffed, covering up the hickey on my neck with my hair once again.

"So then today during lunch, remember you left to go talk to Jeremy?" I spoke, whilst Ana nodded in return.

"Well he was there in the hall again. And instead of just talking, he did this!" I yelled in annoyance, pointing towards my neck.

"Wow, he's got some good skills." Ana smirked, whilst I glared and chucked a pillow at her.

"This isn't funny! What am I supposed to do?!" I huffed, staring at my best friend with a desperate look on my face.

"Okay okay, calm down. What was the guys name?" Ana questioned.

"Luke. His name was Luke." I sighed, brushing a piece of hair out of my eyes.

"Luke?! Luke as in Luke Hemmings?! Tall, blond hair, blue eyes, perfectly long legged Luke?" She exclaimed, eyes wide as she spoke.

"Yes..why?" I questioned, only causing Ana's eyes to widen to a point where I thought they might've bulged out of their sockets.

"Lil..don't you know anything about him?" Ana questioned, finally calming down.

"Like I said, I'd never even seen him around school before, the first time I ever saw him was in the library." I explained once again.

"Lilly, I hate to tell you this bubs, but he's a player. He hooks up with a different girl every week; he's bad news." Ana sighed, whilst all I could do was stare at her.

"A-are you sure?" I questioned, hoping that what she was telling me was wrong, that Luke saw me as something other than a hook up.

"I'm positive, I just don't want you to get hurt. Do me a favour and stay away?" She sighed with a sympathetic look on her face, pulling me in for a tight hug.

The thought of Luke acting the way he did with me around other girls made me feel sick to my stomach. I thought he might've actually taken interest in me, but clearly not.

"No wonder he came after someone like me.. He probably thought I was the school nerd or something, I mean look at me." I chuckled quietly, hugging my best friend tightly as tears welled up in my eyes.

"No..no Lil honey, listen to me. Any guy would be lucky to have you, don't ever forget that. Don't let him upset you, he just wants to look for a new hook up, that's my guess. Don't cry over someone like him." She sighed, rubbing her hand up and down my back reassuringly.

"Thanks for letting me know before I did something stupid Ana,"

"I'll stay away."

Little did I know, that keeping away was going to be a promise I'd break before I'd even made it.
