<Seulgi's POV>

We arrived at the station not too long ago, and now we're taking the stairs  heading towards the main road.

I looked back behind me and saw Irene still a couple of steps from the starting point. Aigooo~ this bunny's too slow.

"Yah! Joohyun-ah, ppali~ ppali~" I yelled enough for her to hear. She just waved a hand at me, ignoring what I just said awhile ago.

I sighed and run back down to where she's currently resting. I placed both of my hands behind her and gently pushed her to move again.

"I'll lend you some of my strength today but be sure to pay it back equally, eo?" I grinned and wiggled my brows.

"And also, you need to do some cardios. You're still young but you easily get tired." I gave her some of my sentiments after hearing her aioos and aigoo. She sounded like a real ajhumma back there.

"How come you still have lots of energy? We slept late last night." I heard her groan in annoyance for I kept teasing her about being weak and all. It's payback time-- an eye for an eye. You shouldn't have teased me back then. Tch~

After a good 10 minutes we landed at the main road. She led the way to the taxi stand and hailed one for us; Irene turned around and signaled me to hurry up so I scurried towards the cab, got in and right after closing the door, Irene told the driver our destination.

The ride is so peaceful. Irene had her earphones on-- must be listening to their song and to internalize it. While I, on the other hand, had my airpods on, and was also watching our video taken yesterday for our own evaluation and make some changes to it, if we felt like there's still something missing to our piece.

I checked the time on my phone and my body relaxed a bit. We still have an hour before the final rehearsal, and we it'll only take us 10 minutes to arrive at our destination since the station is just near our school. </>

<Y/N's POV>

I arrived at the school grounds and decided to head to the rooftop since I still have plenty of time to spare. The school looked like a ghost town except for some security guards checking rooms and few janitors cleaning the hallway.

I stood in front of the elevator and pressed the button with an arrow facing upwards and waited for it to open. Soon after, the elevator door opened, I got in and pressed the rooftop.

I wanted to condition my body ahead so that we can focus on our runs and save time. Though it is not my first time performing in front of a crowd but it is still making me nervous, what if I mess up and will end up looking like a fool.

I shook my head, wanting to get rid of the thought. Stop thinking like that or else you might jinx it, Y/N.

The elevator stopped, indicating that I've arrived at the top. I step out and headed towards the farthest corner possible for I don't wanna be seen by anyone.

I took out my guitar, tuned it and started strumming.

"I need to warm up my voice and have some runs with the song." I chose a song that I am much confident with for my warm up session.

(A/N: just imagine Y/N's singing to this song)

The warm up song ended, I looked at the blue sky and smiled. Today's weather is nice. I mumbled to myself and proceeded practicing with our chosen song.

"Y/N-ssi~" I turned my head around and saw Irene and Seulgi standing a few meters away from me. I dipped my head slightly to greet them both; Seulgi bowed as well and waved at me before taking her leave.

"I'll see you guys at the rehearsal! Hwaiting!!!" She said before running back to the elevator. </>

<Irene's POV>

The cab came into a complete stop, I glanced outside and saw our school. I paid for our fare before crawling out of the vehicle.

"Do you think the others are here already?" I heard Seulgi behind me.

"I dunno.. maybe?" I answered her pretty unsure as well. I fished my phone out and tried to send a text message to Y/N.

He did not reply to my text; afraid that he might still be sleeping, I ended up dialing his number but it went through voicemail.

"Aish. I can't reach him." I groaned and placed my phone back inside my jacket's pocket.

"Can't reach who? Taehyung?" Seulgi dumfoundedly asked. Tch, as if.

"Why would I call that rude boy?" I'm still disappointed in him and on top of that, I did not receive any sort of apology coming from him.

"R-Right. Sorry, Joohyun-ah~" Seulgi stuttered. She must've noticed the annoyance in my voice; I felt sorry for talking that way so I smiled at her.

"Silly~ I was calling that crush of yours." I tried teasing her to lift up the mood and not ruin our day.

"Y-Ya! Stop it! Someone might hear us!" Her face turned beet red; it's hilarious to look at if you ask me.

"Are you like blushing right now, Seulgi?" I chuckled while grinning at her.

"Aish! Stop itttttt! Stop teasing meeeee." Seulgi said and walked ahead of me.

"Ya! Are you running awayy? Kang Seulgi!" I shouted at her when the gap between us became wide. She stopped and turned around only to stick her tongue out at me.

Aigooo! So childish! This bear, jinjja..

"Wait for me! Ya, Kang Seulgiiiii!" As much as I don't want to exert any more energy, I ended up running my way towards my friend.

"What about Hani? Is she here already?" I linked our arms and headed inside together.

"I dunno where she is. I'll just accompany you for now. Where do you wanna go?" She replied whilst checking on her phone.

"Ohh~ Okay~" I wanted to tease her again but I really don't want to run around the campus because I know for sure she'll run away from me again. I'll just save this one later.

"Hmm~ Maybe at the rooftop? I dunno. He's the type of person who wants to be alone most of the time; so maybe he's there?" I guessed and we walked our way towards the elevator.

As soon as we're inside the elevator Seulgi's phone beeped. She opened it and told me that Hani's at the cafeteria.

"I told you I can look for him on my own. Tch~ you just want to see him, huh?" Now I can tease her since there's no way she could run away. We're trap inside this carrier, nowhere to run.

"Aish! Stop it, really. I'll just drop you off and head back down." She grimaced at my teases and placed her phone back inside her pocket.

In no time we arrived at the top and looked for any sign of Y/N. We heard a guitar being played somewhere and decided to follow that sound.

".....before the birds start reading me I'm going to sleep a deep sleep"

"...into a dream I can't wake up from back to that afternoon I just wanted to turn back time to"

We saw Y/N at a corner singing to a oddly sad song. The emotion he put into is something so raw and heart-wrenching.

He looked at the sky for a moment before looking down again and that's when Seulgi called out his name. Y/N immediately looked back to where the voice came from and he successfully spotted us standing a few meters away from where he is.

Seulgi smiled and bowed at him as well before facing me and she told me that she'll get going. The look on her face says it all, she's so all over him.

"Smiling so widely eh? Aigoo, Kang Seulgi. You are too obvious." I said and laughed a bit.

(A/N: Look at that smile huhu my bb;;)

"Whatever, Bae Joohyun~ I gotta go~" She said and run back to where the elevator is located but before she completely disappear from our view she shouted something.

"I'll see you guys at the rehearsal! Hwaitingg!!!" She shouted before leaving completely.

I approached Y/N and sat beside him.

"How long have you been here?" I asked him out of curiosity.

We spend the remaining time practicing our song, feeling a tad more confident that we'll ever be. </>

                 [ At the cafeteria ]

<Hani's POV>

I replied to Seulgi's text message as I am lining up to pay for my meal. I surprisingly saw one person who I've known to be a very tardy person. And he ended up showing way early with the Org's president. Yep, you read and guessed it right. That tardy person is no other than Kim Taehyung.

"Today's event might be a success since Taehyung's way early than usual, huh?" I said and both boys looked back at me.

"Hani-ssi~ Good Morning!" Taehyung sheepishly grinned at me.

"Good Morning, Hani-ssi~" Jimin smiled at me-- looking so calm as ever.

"Good Morning to you both~ " I simply replied and smiled back at them.

"Hani-ya~~" I heard a girl called out my name and it made me turn my head towards the caller.

Seulgi came running to me with a smile plastered on her face. Aigoo~ why is she so hyped up early in the morning? Something nice must've happened on her way here.

"Seulgi-ah, Annyeong~" I greeted back at her when she arrived in front of me and is now catching her breath.

"You had breakfast? We can just join those two." I said and pointed at the location where Jimin and Taehyung are standing at.

"I had boiled eggs but I'm still hungry, so why not?" She replied enthusiastically.

"Alrighty then~ Jimin-ssi, is it okay if we tag along with you two?" I asked Jimin as we neared them.

"Why not? The more the merrier right, Taehyung-ah?" Jimin answered my question and looked at his bestfriend.

"You're never been wrong, Jiminie~ Let's all eat together!" Came Taehyung's answer.

We paid for our meals and headed to a nearby empty table. We sat across each other; Taehyung and Jimin sat together while Seulgi and I sat in front of them.

"How was your practice, Taehyung-ah?" I asked to start another conversation with the boys. I mean it'll be boring to just eat there, right?

"Ohh! I did great~ I can't wait to perform and show them what I prepared with my blood, sweat, and tears. Right, Jiminie?" Taehyung goofily replied and nuged Jimin's side to have him confirm his statement.

"Yeah~ he's so noisy back at the dorm. I can't sleep an inch because of him playing with hi saxophone." Jimin said while making a face, teasing his friend.

"Eyy~ I'm not that noisy, Jimin-ah~ He is lying. He said that it was a music in his ears, soothing him to bed. Aish~ why are you boldly lying to my faceee~" Taehyung whined and it only made us chuckle.

"He's clearly teasing you, Taehyung-ssi." Seulgi commented.

"Tch~ you should tell this boyfriend of yours to stop teasing me, Seulgi-ssi." Jimin choked on his food right after Taehyung said those words. I looked at Seulgi and Jimin suspiciously as both looked the other way. Don't tell me they actually are dating?

"Heol~ it can't be.. Are you guys--" I was cut my their answers. Both of them said no simultaneously and a bit louder than usual, it's like they became so worked up with what Taehyung have said.

"Here they go again denying it." Taehyung shrugged his shoulder and just resumed eating.

I still had my left eyebrow raised but decided to not press on it further and just finish my meal. </>

          
                   [ At rehearsals ]

<Jimin's POV>

I cursed Taehyung and his mouth, really, I dunno why he needed to bring that up.

I glanced at Seulgi who's busy stretching her body along with Hani-ssi.

After stretching she looked back at my directiong and smiled awkardly, so I just returned the same awkward smile at her.

It's their turn to rehearse. I watched them carefully, my eyes never leaving hers. Taehyung must've been watching me because I heard him snicker and continued playing with his saxophone.

If only you knew you dumbass. I mentally said and ignored him.

As I am in the middle of supervising the rehearsal, my phone vibrated twice. I looked at the ID and rolled my eyes in annoyance.

??: How's the rehearsal, Jimin-ssi? I bet your back is already aching, huh? >:P

"Jimin-ssi? This person has no manners, none at all. Geez~ getting on my nerves early in the morning, ugh!" I groaned inwardly and tapped a quick reply.

Me: Shut up and stop pestering me early in the morning. I'll block you!

??: Meanie.

  I felt my phone vibrate again but decided to not pay anymore attention to the person messaging me.

"What's with the frown, Jiminie? You okay?" Taehyung stood beside me and asked.

I just shook my head and told him it's nothing, just school work.

"You should prepare, it's your turn now to rehearse." I said to him, pointing at the empty stage.

Seulgi and Hani are already at the backstage monitoring their performance.

As Taehyung went up ahead, Y/N and Irene came in-- talking about perfect timing.

"Y/N-ssi, Irene-ssi~" I greeted them with a smile. Both nodded at me and returned their smiles.

Y/N gestured Irene to sit down and placed his guitar beside her.

"Want some red ginseng?" Y/N asked Irene.

"Sure~ thank you, Y/N-ssi." Irene replied and took the red ginseng from Y/N's hand. The ginseng is placed inside a stick container so it'll be much easier to carry and consume.

"Jimin-ssi, have some red ginseng too." Y/N said and handed me one. I bowed slightly as a form of gratitude and sucked on the stick, emptying it slowly.

Korea's red ginseng is the best! Everyone should take this on a daily basis.

The rehearsal went on until it's time for us to finish decorating the stage. The performers are resting at the specific room assigned solely for them and waited for our cue.

Students started coming in one after the other, filling the once empty chairs. And in no time, the hall was crowded with freshmen talking and laughing amongst themselves. Some are busy taking photos, complimenting their attires.

I signaled Jin hyung to head on to the stage to have his opening remark and call out our dear principal for his opening speech, and to also formally start the event. </>

<Author's POV>

After introducing the principal and have his opening speech, it was time for the first performers to perform.

Hani and Seulgi made their way up to the stage. The crowd went nuts upon seeing them with their chosen outfits.

They started off with their stationary pose, waiting for the music to start. Some students are already shouting their names even though the performance has yet to start.

The power these two ladies possess are of no joke. You can really see it from the way the students are behaving-- may it be boys or girls. Everyone went crazy.

After that, the music transitioned to another song and this time it's more upbeat than the other one. The crowd got more hyped up and kept on calling out their names.

"Kang Seulgi~ Ahn Heeyeon~ Saranghaeeee!!" A couple of boys at the back shouted repeatedly.

(A/N: Let's just imagine it's the two of them, hwaiting!! )

Seulgi and Hani ended their performance with a bang. They stayed with their last pose for a couple of seconds, breathing heavily as they do so. Students stood up from their seats, giving the two ladies a standing ovation.

Jin immediately went up the stage, thanking Seulgi and Hani for a very superb performance.

"How's the first performance? You guys still okay?" Jin chuckled at his own remark, introduced the second performer, Kim Taehyung.

A bunch of girls squealed after hearing Taehyung's name. The said boy went up to the stage carrying a saxophone. He smiled at the audience and placed the mouthpiece near his lips. He breathed to calm his nerves and begun playing his chosen piece.

(A/N: imagine Tae is the one playing this and his outfit is the one below)

As the performance progresses, Taehyung stopped playing his instrument and the background music grew louder; He untangled the strap of the saxophone and placed it far away from the stage. Moments later Jimin came out and is now dancing to the music.

(Note: Since singularity has a choreography, let's just imagine the two dancing to it)

Jimin did a freestyle to the song for a couple of seconds with the spotlight solely on him. And  by the time the Taehyung started singing to it, the spotlight immediately went to him.

(A/N: Refer to the video above. Taehyung is doing the stand thingy by the time the spotlight was on him. Jimin, on the other hand is doing wat the back up dancers are doing)

Taehyung emerge behind Jimin with a prop, creating an illusion that someone his holding and caressing his face.

The students were mesmerized by the creativity of the two. Moreover, they did not expect the president of the org to participate in the said performance.

"Omo~ Daebak! I didn't know Jimin and Taehyung could dance this gracefully." Hani commented while her eyes are glued to the two boys dancing on the stage.

"I knew Jimin could dance, but Taehyung surely surprised me." Seulgi commented as well. After hearing Seulgi's remark, Hani contemplated if she'll tease her partner or just focus on the performance in front of her. What Taehyung revealed at the cafeteria still lingered in my mind. Seulgi's being suspicious right now. Hani said mentally, but she chose to focus on the show and kept in her mind to tease her later. </>
