Simons POV

"Mu-mu-mum?" I stand there frozen as my jaw drops.

"Simon!" She yells running inside the house, opening her arms for a huge hug. She tightly squeezes me, like she always did to my siblings and me when we were little. Of course, her strong perfume fills my nose sending wonderful memories of my childhood in my mind.

"M-mum how did yo- what-" Tears fill my eyes. I haven't seen my Mum in God knows how long.

"It was all your beautiful fiancèè's idea." She smiles looking at Adele and sharing a hug with her.

"Nana! I don't remember when I saw you last. Like I think it was a million-thousand- billion seconds ago," Angelo excitedly yells hugging my Mum, "Oh, and there's a new member of the family!"

My mum laughs, "Yeah I know, it was forever ago." She pauses and looks at me confused, "Oh is there?" She asks looking intrigued, "Your mummy or daddy didn't tell me she had her babies yet."

"Noooo... not that," he laughed sending a smile across my face, "come on I'll show you!"

She chuckles taking his hand as he leads her to the kitchen.

I smile widely turning to look at Adele, "Babe... you don't even know how much I love you."

I pick her gently up, making sure to be careful of her stomach. The feeling I just had, reuniting with my mum was all because of her. She knew what made me happy so she fulfilled it. She made me feel like one of the luckiest man alive.

See, I had a relationship with my mum. But after my Father died, we sorta fell out. It was a tragic time in our whole family. But after a while, we learned to mend our relationship back together. But since that we both are in different countries, it's harder for us to see each other.

"All for you baby, happy birthday,"  smiles and passionately kisses me.

There is seriously no one more perfect then Adele, and I'm the man lucky enough to make her mine.

Adeles POV

"Now I hope you like meatloaf and potatoes." Ms Konecki excitedly says placing dishes of food on the table.

Simon laughs walking into the kitchen, "Anything edible, Adele will eat," He chuckles kissing my cheek.

"You know you didn't have to make dinner," I say ignoring Simon, "We could have gone out to eat," I look up at her as I place drinks and plates on the table.

"No, I had to make dinner for my birthday boy. It's been forever since I've gotten to do that." She smiles looking up at Simon.

"Yeah babe, this is my favourite home-cooked meal. No one can make it like she can."

I frown turning to face him, "But I thought you said my meatloaf was good."

"It is. Just not as good as hers." He laughs giving me a hug, "it's okay, I love yours too."

"Yeah, yeah whatever." I sigh walking out of his hug, "now go and get my kids for dinner before you make me madder then I am." I say sternly looking him in the eye.

"But what did I even d-" He stops mid-sentence seeing the look on my face, and quickly changes his answer, "Yes mam," he seriously says quickly walking away, "and it's our kids, not just yours." He smiles peeking his head back in the kitchen.

"Get out," I yell throwing a towel at him.

As soon as Simon leaves the room his mum burst out laughing, "How come that works for you. When he was little it never worked for me."

I start to laugh with her, "Well, I guess he knows how scary I can be when he makes me mad."

She sighs placing a dishcloth on the countertop, "Well I thought he was scared of me too." She smiles looking behind me, seeing the kids run into the kitchen.

"Yay food." Anika smiles.

"She must get it from Adele." Simon laughs pointing to me.

I roll my eyes at him.

"So Angelo," Mr Konecki starts, trying to stop a fight about to brew between Simon and I, "are you in school now?"

He sits down proudly with a huge smile spread across his face, "Yeah, Mumma and Daddy said I'm a big boy now."

"I heard, Your Mumma told me you're really smart." She says taking some food and passes it to me.

"Mmmhmm, she's right." Angelo laughs while I help cut his meat.

I look over and see Bey playing around with food in front of her. She must have noticed me starring as she looks up straight into my eyes. She flashes me a fake smile taking a bite of her food.

I mouthed an, 'are you okay?' She smiles once again and nods her head focusing back on her food.

Simons mum must have seen us and started talking to Bey, "So Bey. Tell me a little about yourself? Do you play any sports?"

"Well, I do competitive gymnastics and dance." She shyly replies.

"Really, that's amazing. I'll have to come to one of your competitions sometime." she smiles then quickly laughs, "You know, Simon used to do gymnastics." She looks over at Simon. He keeps his eyes down on his plate, I can tell he's blushing.

"Is that true, babe?" I chuckle. He slowly looks up and looks around at the table, his face bright red. Ashlyn and Anika both have their mouths wide open. Angelo starts to laugh and Bey looks at him shocked. Simon nods his head slowly and smiles.

"Hey, I was pretty good, okay." He seriously says, which made even more laughter fill the table, even Bey was starting to laugh.

"How come I never knew about this babe?" I ask still dying with laughter. He embarrassingly shrugs, "Aw don't be embarrassed," I say rubbing my hand on his thigh, "I wish I could have seen that." I smirk.

"Tell us more embarrassing stories of Simon," Bey says in between laughter. Everyone stops laughing and looks at Bey, confused.

She just called him Simon.

She sits there awkwardly, realizing why we are all staring at her. She quickly looks back down at her food and starts eating.

Feeling bad for her, I ask the same, "Yeah tell us stories of his childhood that will embarrass him more."

"Hey," he glares at me and crosses his arms, "I don't ask your mum about this stuff."

Simons POV

After we had cake and ice cream celebration for my birthday, I helped Adele and my mum in the kitchen cleaning up.

"Did you put the kids to bed babe?" Adele asks as I walk down the stairs. I nod my head making my way into the kitchen where she and my mum were, "Well look at you. You're so sweet." Adele smiles placing her lips on mine.

"But Angelo wants you to go sing him the river song, or whatever you sing him." I say with a chuckle. She nods her head smiling.

Adele walks over to the fridge to put away leftovers. She studies the calendar on the fridge door after shutting it with a slight sigh, "Babe, I have a doctors appointment tomorrow. Can you come?"

"I'll try," I answer helping my mum out with the dishes as she lets out a soft chuckle continuing to wash.

"What's so funny?" I ask her, looking at her funny.

"Well, when Angelo called me and told me that Daddy and Mumma are having another baby I didn't believe him. Then when you and Adele called me and told me you were having twins I couldn't believe that at all. I was so shocked,  seeing Adele today I'm even more shocked because you really are having twins." She laughs.

Adele and I laugh shortly after.

I walk over to Adele from behind and rest my head on her shoulder placing my hands on her stomach.

"Yup, it's true." I smile, turning her around and lean in to kiss her, gently pressing her against the fridge.

Apparently, the kiss turned into something more, because my mum stopped us before it went anywhere else.

"Mhm," she says clearing her throat, "what are you two doing tonight?"

Adele looks at me embarrassed, "What?" She shocking asks.

"To celebrate, for Simons birthday." She confusingly says.

"Oh," Adele and I both laugh at the same time, "I thought you meant-"

"Nothing, I guess just going to bed," Adele cuts me off before I can finish my sentence.

Her smile quickly fades, "Nonsense, go out and be with your fiancé. Have fun act like teenagers again. I'll stay here with the kids."

"Wow, mum. Are you serious?" I ask shocked she'd say that.

"Yeah, go. Have fun, I don't give you many opportunities to do this. So if I was you two I'd take it," she smiles walking into the guest room.

Not much of a spell check I guess. Sorry, its been a while I've been on vaca. I'm back now, I think...
