Andy's POV

-

I couldn't believe who it was. It was thean who left me five years ago and took our daughter with him.

"Ricky, is that you?" I asked.

"Yeah, Andy is that you?" He asked. I nodded.

"Do you wanna catch up? And I'm really, really sorry about what I did all those years ago, I know it's unforgivable, I overreacted" he said. I nodded before I ordered my coffee.

I paid for it and sat down with Ricky and the little girl.

"So how's life been treating you?" I asked.

"Good, Motionless in White has gotten a lot more popular since 2011, we toured with HIM a couple years ago, so that was a huge milestone" he said.

"Who's this little girl?" I asked.

"Our daughter, Topanga" he said. She was adorable, she's going to be a heart breaker when she's a teenager. I feel bad that I've missed out on so much of her life. She's already five, I bet she doesn't even know that I'm her mother.

"Hi Topanga!" I said. She nuzzled her face into Ricky's shoulder as she munched on her giant cookie.

"So how's life been treating you?" He asked.

"Well, I'm unhappily married..." I said.

"Obviously" he said semi-jokingly, referring to my bloated belly.

"Well, this one only happened because it was drunken make-up sex" I said, mouthing 'sex' so that Topanga wouldn't repeat it.

"Who's the lucky guy?" He asked.

"Oh the one I married, is my brother's bandmate, Matt Kean, and I hate every single second of it" I said.

"Why?" He asked.

"Because we argue all the time. He instigates it most of the time. The first year was a good year but then he just snapped and turned into a completely different person" I said.

"Why don't you divorce him?" He asked.

"Because it wouldn't be fair on the baby when he's born" I said.

"Do you have any other kids?" He asked.

"No, I had a miscarriage a few months after Matt and I got married" I said.

"How's Oli and Hannah and their kid doing?" He asked.

"They're doing great, after Lizzy was born, they finally tied the knot" I said.

"Are you married or anything yet?" I asked.

"No, I had a girlfriend, and she was in Panga's life, but my girlfriend just up and left a little bit after Topanga's third birthday" he said.

"Did Topanga call her 'mom' or 'mommy'?" I asked.

"Sometimes but it was only when she was sick, but any other time, she called her by her name" he said. That makes me feel better.

"I have to get going, it's almost six, and Matt gets worried, plus I need to get dinner started" I said.

"Okay, I have an off day tomorrow as well, so if you wanna meet up and get to know Topanga, here's my number" he said as he wrote his number on the back of his receipt. He handed it to me.

I walked out of the coffee shop and out to my car.

I drove home.

I walked inside. I was greeted with the smell of spaghetti sauce. Matt cooked dinner.

"I didn't know when you were gonna come home, so I went ahead and did dinner" he said.

"Sorry, I bumped into Ricky and Topanga at the coffee shop, Ricky gave me his number so that we could set something up so I can see Topanga" I said as he handed me my plate.

"No. I don't want you talking to Ricky, he's nothing but trouble" he said.

"You can't tell me who I can and can't talk to, I wanna see my daughter, and you can't stop me" I said.

"My house, my rules" he said.

"I want a fucking divorce" I said.

"No. We need to work out for Ryan's sake!" He said.

"It isn't fair on him if we're fighting all the time" I said.

"Well, I don't want our son growing up with divorced parents like I did" he said.

"Well, it's better for us to be divorced than us fighting in front of him all the time" I said.

"Then I'd rarely get to see him" he said.

"You'd still rarely see him if we were married" I said.

"Whatever" he said.
