Chapter 26

***LANDON P.O.V***

I woke up, then quickly looked at Waverly's bed, but she wasn't there.

"Landon-" I heard the nurse open the door. "You have a visitor. Get dressed." She said, flipping the light on. I groaned knowing it was probably my jackass parents.

I slipped jeans and an oversized shirt on. I walked out rubbing my eyes, trying to adjust to the bright light. I walked to the front. "Right this way." The nurse escourted.

She led me to a small room with several patients, and visitors. "Shes over there." She said.

I looked up and saw her standing in the corner with a huge sweater, ripped jeans, and her old vans. Her hair was in a messy braid to the side.

It was Grey.

She ran and hugged me. "I told you not to leave without telling me." She said. "My parents sorta had to take my phone." I smiled.

I missed Grey.

We both sat down on cusioned chairs. "Have you made any friends?"

"A couple." I said. "Shouldn't you be in school?" I asked her. "My dad let me skip today." She smiled.

"I miss you Land." She said after a lot of awkward small talk. "I missed you too." I said. She grabbed me by my arms and kissed me hard. "Grey what are you doing?" I asked, pulling back.

She has a boyfriend Landon.

"You have a boyfriend." I said. She stared at me "How did you know that."

"Cut the bullshit Grey! Do you think im fucking stupid?" I raised my arms.

Remember you saw them making out in the lunchroom?

"I saw you two making out in the lunchroom." I said.

Her face lost color.

I walked out of the guest room. "Bye slut." I said looking at her, and walking away.

~

I paced the room, talking to Nichole. "Told ya." She said. "Not now Nichole." I said. "Why cant you agree with me for once?" She complained, looking through Waverly's stuff.

"Hey stop going through her shit." I said grabbing Waverly's underwear out of her hand, and putting it back in the drawer. "Not my style anyways." Nichole said leaning up against the wall.

"I dont know whats gotten into you." I said to her. "Isnt this what friends do? They help each other out?" Nichole spoke again. "You're not helping at all." I glared over at her. "I can get you out of here." She said. "No you cant. You're not real." I said sitting on my bed.

I heard footsteps coming down the hall ways and stoping in front of my room. There was a knock. "Landon?" She said quietly.

I opened the door furrowing my eyebrows.

I opened it to see small and short Ryane.

"You cant be here." I said quietly. "I want you though." She said running her fingers up and down my chest. "Ryane no." I whispered.

"I like her though!" Nichole said from inside the room. I sighed. "Ryane you cannot be here." I said rubbing my face in frustration. "Please? We can be fast." She said. "I dont even have a condom. No." I said. She pulled an orange packet from her back pocket. I groaned. "No, you need to leave." i said closing the door.

I turned around, leaned up against the door. "Why did you do that? I like Ryane." Nichole said laying on my bed. I glared at her.

3 weeks later.

My feelings for Waverly grew from just a friendship. It was almost felt like I have known her forever.

Everyday after both of our therapy sessions were over, the doctors let us work out in the staff work out room.

I laid on the bench press lifting 50 pounds. "When do you think you're going to get out of here?" I asked Waverly, as she was running on the tredmill. "I dont know. My parents live in New York and shipped me off here." She said taking a drink of her water. "So your parents had the nerve to ship you nearly 3,000 miles away from them?" I laughed, putting the weight up.

Waverly stopped the tredmill. "Yeah, I dont even get phone calls from them anymore." She shrugged.

You two should escape.

"We should try to get  out of here." I said quietly. Waverly looked at me. "How?" I shrugged. "I dont know."
