Alyssa looked at the time in her watch, malapit na din matapos ang pasok niya, finally. Gusto na niyang makita si Sam, the girl texted her earlier na may sasabihin ito sa kanya, she feels it's urgent, wala siyang ideya kung tungkol saan ang sasabihin nito but she just knows she needs to be there for the girl as soon as she can.

When the school bell started ringing ay dinismiss na agad sila ng prof nila. She then hurriedly exited the room papunta sa usual na tambayan nila ni Sam.

Panting, she took a seat sa isang bench, exactly where the girl told her about her fear. Exactly where everything changed.

She does not think of it bitterly, kaya niya namang maghintay eh. Kahit hindi sigurado, kahit hindi pa ito maging handa. She'll always be just there for her.

Ilang sandali pa ay wala pa ding Sam na sumusulpot kaya kinuha na niya ang phone niya para sana i-text ito but then a voice spoke from behind her.

"did you wait too long Ly?" nilingon naman agad niya si Sam na may hawak na bouquet.

"sorry for making you wait long, ngayon lang nagkalakas ng loob na maging matapang eh." sabi pa nito.

She stood at lumapit kay Sam.

Is this what I'm thinking this is?

"naghihintay ka pa din ba?" the girl asks her sabay abot sa kanya nung bouquet.

She smiled at tinanggap ito.

We're not really talking about me physically waiting for her here.

"lagi naman Sam eh." she finally replied.

"and it's okay, hindi mo kailangan mag-sorry. naiintindihan ko naman. and hindi ako mawawala, hindi ako mapapagod." she added.

"and if you get tired, let's try to work on it ha?" sabi nito sa kanya ng naka ngiti.

"let's live this moment and be happy Ly." dagdag pa nito.

"kahit gaano hindi kasigurado ang bukas, ang importante itong ngayon, what we feel for each other." sinabi pa nito.

She smiled at Sam, tama ito, hindi sigurado ang lahat, but what is important is for them to live the life they have now. They will work on things along the way.

"Alyssa, will you officially be my girlfriend?" tanong nito sa kanya that made her tears fall.

"yes Sam." she answers sabay naramdaman niyang pinunasan ni Sam ang luha niya.

"I love you." it's the first time the girl said it, without a hint of fear, just genuine feelings and she thinks she'll melt right then and there.

"I love you Sam." she answers back as she felt Sam kissing her forehead.

This is a new journey I'm very much willing to take.-Sam
